Chapter 34 - Growing Up

Time really flies — it had been nearly a month since Alex came to the private beach to relax with his two beloved Pokémon.

Breathing in the fresh sea air and basking in the sunlight every day, training had never felt boring to him.

On the smooth white sand, Alex stood shirtless, revealing his toned abs, carefully guiding Lucario through each movement.

"Rocky, Brick Break isn't just about raising your hand and slamming down," he said, his eyes following every motion of the Pokémon.

"Imagine your palm is a sharp blade, and use all the power from your waist and core to chop down strongly!"

Alex bent his body low and swung his hand swiftly, creating a sharp slicing sound that seemed to ripple through the air.

Lucario watched every move attentively, his eyes full of admiration and determination.

"That's it! Just like that — perfect!" Alex praised.

Lucario couldn't hide his excitement, letting out a loud "Luca!" before trying to swing his hand the way Alex showed him.

A softer slicing sound cut through the air.

"Very good, you did it right. Keep practicing more on this beach."

Next, Alex guided Lucario through Thunder Punch and Fire Punch.

Lucario concentrated, gathering energy, clenching his fist, and unleashed punches bursting with crackling electricity and blazing flames, so vivid that Alex could clearly feel the heat and the sharp crackling.

"You're progressing really fast," Alex encouraged, giving a thumbs-up.

"The more you train, the better you'll be able to combine thunder with your left hand and fire with your right — a surprise attack that deals serious damage."

Lucario nodded eagerly, his eyes shining with the desire for strength — strength to protect Alex, the one he cherished.

After the training session, Alex prepared lunch as a reward for Rocky's hard work.

Suddenly, a strange feeling flickered in Alex's heart, making him turn back.

Under a sunshade, Kirlia sat cross-legged in meditation, surrounded by sparkling white lights.

Lucario immediately stopped training, turned back, and stood beside Alex, sensing that something special was about to happen.

"Luna is about to evolve!" Alex exclaimed excitedly, stepping closer but keeping a safe distance.

Unlike Lucario, who needed physical training, Kirlia's evolution depended on mental strength and regular meditation.

More and more white sparkles gathered, enveloping Kirlia in a pure glowing aura.

The atmosphere grew magical and shimmering.

After a while, the white light gradually faded, revealing a new form — a graceful and elegant Gardevoir.

Her snowy-white body looked like she was wearing a magnificent evening gown, with a soft pale green skirt wrapping her slender figure.

Her hair curled gently, cascading down past her shoulders, and her long fingers looked like she was wearing delicate gloves.

Around her face were sharp spikes resembling a mysterious masquerade mask, decorated with fine details.

The green streak on her chest connected to the "gloves," completing the image of a graceful yet commanding dress.

If Kirlia had been an innocent girl before, Gardevoir was now a mature young lady — charming and gentle.

"Luna!" Alex couldn't contain his joy and ran to embrace her tightly.

His heart was full of happiness, feeling the growth of his beloved "daughter."

"Alex~" the soft, warm voice echoed in his mind, tinged with the familiar shyness.

Though still a little bashful, Gardevoir wrapped her arms around Alex's waist and gently rested her head on his shoulder.

In that moment, Alex knew a new chapter had begun — his little daughter had truly grown up.
