Walking into the restaurant was none other than Tae-Hyun, and next to him was my mother, dressed in a red dress and looking as though she had aged backward.
In other words, she looked so beautiful that it didn't even seem weird walking next to Tae-Hyun since no one could tell she was older.
Wait, what am I even thinking right now? That's not what matters.
The pressing issue here is that Tae-Hyun and my mother were right in front of me. A little more and they'll notice me.
It didn't matter what I did, their attention would be drawn here regardless.
I clenched my fork, feeling my hands clammy.
What were they doing here? Here of all places. And why now of all times?
Duck-Hwan probably noticed my unease because of how I was clenching the fork so much and asked,
"Are you okay?"
But I couldn't even answer. My thoughts were filled with how I wanted to get out of here and not cross paths with those two.
