Chapter 874 - Chapter 874

However, before Thor could even finish his incantation, he felt a gust of wind sweep past him.

It was Saitama.

Maybe he thought the swarm of juvenile Yetis piling in was annoying, or maybe he simply wanted to end things quickly so he could get out of this freezing place. The instant Thor raised his hammer, Saitama had already stepped forward and charged straight at the group of young Yetis!

The young Yetis shrieked and pounced the moment they saw him attack, their claws and cold air striking toward Saitama at the same time.

Saitama's movements were simple and direct. He didn't even throw a punch. He merely spread his arms and strolled through the pack in a single circle, his arms driving his body in a perfect arc.

Along the path his arms traced, an invisible yet highly condensed wind of force swept forward in a wide fan like the sharpest scythe!

There was no deafening blast, only a dense series of faint "pff, pff" sounds.

Every juvenile Yeti touched by that wind froze instantly. It was like someone hit the pause button on all of them at once. Then their eyes rolled back, and they dropped in unison, collapsing limply to the floor, unconscious. The force had been controlled with surgical precision—only knocking them out, not taking their lives.

The entire ice chamber went silent in an instant, leaving only the adult Yeti's terrified whimpering.

Thor's raised hammer stiffened in midair. Lightning flickered once around the hammerhead, then died out awkwardly. He stood there with his mouth slightly open, staring at the unbelievable scene.

One move… a complete clear.

After handling the "annoying" juvenile Yetis, Saitama didn't even slow down. He walked straight toward the back of the chamber, toward the ice core radiating intense cold. The core seemed to sense danger. Its blue light flared, releasing an even more bone-piercing chill, as if the air itself was about to freeze solid.

Saitama stopped in front of the core and looked at this "air conditioner" constantly pumping out cold air, as if deciding it was the real reason this place was so freezing. Then, as casually as if he were smashing an ordinary sheet of glass, he threw a lazy punch.

Bang!

With a crisp crack, the ice core shattered on the spot, exploding into countless glittering ice-crystal specks that scattered and faded into the air. The instant it broke, the ever-present biting cold in the chamber dropped sharply, as if the temperature rose by several degrees. The unconscious juvenile Yetis on the ground both rapidly lost the cold energy the core had been feeding them. They went limp, sprawled out, no longer a threat.

Thor slowly lowered Mjolnir and walked up beside Saitama, looking at him, then at the chamber floor covered in "handled" Yetis, and finally at the shattered ice core. The Asgardian God of Thunder now wore an expression tangled with complicated emotions: shock, admiration, and an almost helpless confusion that came from facing something beyond the limits of understanding.

He put away his hammer and spoke to Saitama with complete seriousness—there was even a trace of respect in his tone.

"Even Asgard's fiercest warriors… don't possess power like yours."

Saitama had eliminated the source of the cold, but somehow he felt even colder. He shrank his neck, hugged his arms to his chest, and rubbed them, complaining, "It didn't even get warm after fixing it… Alright, problem solved. Let's get out of here—this place is way too cold."

Thor looked at Saitama and for a moment, he honestly didn't know what expression he was supposed to make.
