Somewhere else, in a vast hall, several people were gathered. All of them had been summoned by their head, though none of them knew the reason. Whatever it was, it had to be important enough to bring every elder of the clan together — especially with THE SUPREME present.
Even though they had arrived as quickly as possible, no explanation was given for more than an hour. Still, no one questioned THE SUPREME — or dared to.
When the tension had stretched long enough, THE SUPREME finally spoke."I know you are all curious about the reason for this gathering. It is because HE has contacted us."
A wave of shock passed through the hall. Everyone understood who HE was.One elder spoke cautiously, "Sir… does that mean he is returning?"
"I believe so," THE SUPREME replied. After a short pause, he added, "He is with someone. And that someone is the reason for his call."
He stood up, letting his eyes sweep across the room before continuing."I have known his location for a long time but never revealed it — not even to you. Shika has already gone to meet him and the boy with him. Fortunately, we have video footage of what the two of them have done."
As soon as he stopped speaking, a hologram activated, projecting a 3D view that made it feel as if they were standing inside the scene itself. This level of technology wasn't available to many — but the people in this room were far from ordinary. They watched closely, eager to see who Vishnu's companion was.
The footage was live, accessed through their influence and connections. There was very little in this country they could not reach. But after watching for just fifteen minutes, the elders were stunned. They had never expected Vishnu's friend to fight like a mercenary — at least, that was the assumption they all made.
THE SUPREME noticed their reactions and smirked."He is not a mercenary. Just an average kid around Vishnu's age. According to our background check, he has been learning martial arts with Vishnu for only two years."
The hall fell into uneasy silence. Shock gave way to fear. Vishi's growth was terrifying. These elders had seen countless talents, so many that nothing impressed them anymore. Vishnu had been the only exception — the only person in centuries to possess the perfect body (Vish) and perfect mind (Nu). But even he had recently hit a bottleneck.
Now, after just two years of training, Vishi was displaying a level of combat ability that eclipsed expectation and rivaled legends.

But none of them knew that Vishnu himself would soon reach a level comparable to Death, a subconscious monster Vishi would struggle to face.
