Her first dirt race, a G2 win, stunned the media. The turf queen dominating dirt silenced doubters calling it reckless. Yet, Rampage felt her run was imperfect.
"You've got dirt aptitude, but lack experience," Minamisaka said.
"First time, yeah," Rampage agreed.
She'd trained for dirt, but race experience was near zero. Turf skills carried her, but that wouldn't cut it moving forward.
"I asked Tressen's dirt runners for joint training. They agreed," Minamisaka said.
"No kidding? Thought they'd snub me," Rampage said.
"Surprised me too," Minamisaka admitted.
Her bold turf-dirt dual path was expected to draw cold stares from dirt veterans, but they welcomed her warmly. Amazing Dyna's smile during Tokai Stakes was genuine.
"Since Tokai, dirt race attendance is up," Minamisaka noted.
"Why's that?" Rampage asked.
"Your influence. An undefeated Triple Tiara on dirt? Fans think dirt's got charm," he said.
"Fickle bunch," Rampage scoffed.
She was stunned, but Chukyo and local races saw rising crowds.
"Japan's turf-focused, dirt's secondary. That's shifting. Dirt runners I spoke to were moved by bigger crowds," Minamisaka said.
"Contributed, huh? That's… good?" Rampage mused.
"Exactly," Minamisaka affirmed.
"Just one G2 win changes things?" she asked.
"Change happens where it counts," he replied.
Her influence's weight sank in—careless moves were out. She understood why Rudolf stayed so poised as student council president. Time to step up—
"Hello, konnichiwa, ciao! Your world-record, undefeated Tiara Tyrant, charging turf and dirt! Rampage here! Got those good deeds?" she began her stream, milking her rest period.
"Did you catch Tokai Stakes? First dirt race, and the runners welcomed me, even vowed to beat me fair and square! I won, but they were warm, kind. We snapped pics, became game buddies. Unlike some media, their heart warmed me. This is my Tyrant broadcast, so zip it!" she winked.
