Chapter 3 - The wondrous Karmic Cultivation

The youths' chatter quietened down as a procession of adults came. All draped in a luxurious white cloth, with its edges gleaming golden.

The men had their heads shaved, whereas the women did not, making them stand out from the rest of the crowd. At the front of the crowd walked Arun, the current generation temple master. His face bright and glowing, his eyes displayed his kind nature, his bright red lips always projecting a compassionate smile towards the world.

He walked with steady and measured steps. His right hand draped with the same cloth, holding it up. His left hand meeting the right somewhere in the middle. He looked at the crowd as he walked, calming the excited disciples with a single look.

Right behind him, four people followed. The head of agriculture - Prakriti. Her hair, shiny and long, almost reached her waist. Her cute almond-shaped eyes, a rosy hue on her cheeks and her rosy lips formed a natural heart shape. She was the highest standard of beauty in the entire city. Anytime she walked out, the entire city would hear the news!

Talking with her was the youngest appointed head, Vishwa! He looked no older than twenty-five, the youngest among the heads. Personally appointed by the temple master, his story inspired an entire generation of disciples; yet, it was secondary to his siddhi, which could be said to be the most unique the temple had ever seen.

This induction, taking place with a sea of disciples in attendance, was initiated three years ago when Vishwa underwent his Agni Arpan, achieving Siksha Siddhi. Thus, one could also say he was the most important head for today.

Walking on the left side quietly with a stern face, the head of defence, Veer. His body was built like a mountain, standing at six feet three inches, he was the tallest among them all and when combined with his strong, muscly physique, square face and a developed jaw.

It was safe to say that even among a crowd of ten thousand men, he would stand out instantly.

To the right side walked the Head of Administration - Sahab. He was the exact opposite of Veer. Standing up, he only reached up to about the shoulder length of Veer, along with his leaner physique, the two were really no match at all.

The group soon reached the platform, all eyes on them. Arun stepped forward, his hands parting as he addressed the disciples present, "My dear children, living in the temple since birth, every single one of you has been raised with the foundation to become someone great in the future. Among you, there are those who want to study agriculture, others who want to manage the city, someone might be interested in blacksmithing, others in making medicine, though all of you may have various interests, I believe at your hearts each one of you has the benefit of the entire society."

He paused as he looked at the sea of disciples looking at him, smiling lightly he continued, "The temple has given you a good foundation and now today will take it one step further, through the help of Vishwa, our youngest head, it is made possible to disseminate the art of Sharira Shuddhi at such a massive scale. I hope you will make the best use of this opportunity given; those among you who can perfect their art within three years would be given further direction in achieving harmony and perfection!"

Saying this, he moved to the side. Letting Vishwa take the centre stage.

Vishwa had a rather normal appearance. Body draped with the same cloth as the other heads, nothing stood out among his features, a fit lean physique - a standard at the temple, a round face, unassuming eyebrows and a lovely round pair of eyes, the nose slightly small. His lips were a darker shade of red, though the features themselves were not unique, but when one looked at him, they would see a calm aura, the problems plaguing their minds vanishing as they silently immersed themselves in his light.

He did not waste much time. "Students, I, Vishwa, as the head of education and in my divine duty, am motivated to teach you to the best of my abilities. Heavens bestowed upon me the ability to teach what I know to others, thus allowing this kind of large-scale teaching to be possible."

At this moment, a slight hint of arrogance could be seen in his eyes, though he quickly continued, "All of you sit down and close your eyes."

Shakti, who had been watching all this time, followed as the entire crowd sat down almost at the same time, and a thump sound echoed in the originally quiet field. He closed his eyes as the eyelids blocked the morning sun.

He had gone through this before; he knew what was coming, thus he sat quietly, waiting. Inside the darkness, a beacon of light emerged in the position Vishwa was sitting in; the beacon quickly gained size, finally morphing into the figure of Vishwa. Other students going through this process might get confused and break concentration, but who was Shakti? If he did not have even this little bit of mental stability, there was no way he could've even thought of reaching that realm.

'Even after experiencing it many times in the past, I still cannot be clear how Vishwa's Siddhi functions without hurting his soul.' In his past life, Vishwa had conducted research on all the members of the temple to make use of the abilities of other people, and it had been very successful. Only if he could also use Vishwa's ability, the effect would be so good that it could nurture a divine army.

'Alright, let's take in this knowledge first! Even though I already hold the secrets to the highest level and then even beyond, revising won't hurt me the least.' He stopped thinking, concentrating fully on this shining Vishwa in his mind.

The Vishwa started walking towards him; he took slow steps and would even stop if his thoughts got diverted. The closer he got, the more details he revealed. Various postures required to cleanse and strengthen the body, breathing methods to complement these methods, general knowledge related to the pursuit of purification, as well as the experience of Vishwa, a high-level practitioner of going through this realm. This was a huge benefit! This power alone had altered the course of the power balance maintained in this world.

Logically, any force wanting to raise cultivators would need to expend large amounts of effort to slowly nurture a few experts. They have to be taught personally by high-level practitioners, provided enough resources and given enough time. Nurturing a dozen by a small force was the limit, and for a big force, a few hundred Sharira Shuddhi perfections emerging was already a good year. But Vishwa has flipped the table with this unique Siddhi, directly imprinting knowledge as well as his entire experience in the minds of others he severely reduced the amount of manpower needed to nurture experts.

Even though resources were also necessary, they could be replaced over time and given enough time, all these students present, relying on the knowledge they received today, would sooner or later reach the realm of Sharira Shuddhi in this life!

Shakti continued meditating, comparing the experience of Vishwa with his very own, gaining various insights that he previously might have overlooked. He was confident that this time he could perfect his mortal shell even before the second year was over!
