Just like with Scáthach Angron spent a year learning all he could from Merlin, be it strategy or magic he soaked all of it up like a sponge. He excelled at tactics both simple and complex but where he really shone was his incredible ability to adapt his strategies in real time to counter anything that his opponent did.
On the magical side of things his lack of circuit made it almost impossible for him to learn Fate magic beyond the very basics that was until Merlin offered to create artificial circuits like Shiro had in Fate Stay Night.
While allowing Angron to actually use some of the higher level mysteries the downside was that it required him to convert his nerves into temporary circuits while suffering immense pain as he did so as his body could almost outpace the creation of artificial circuits with its incredible healing factor.
Sadly I wasn't able to hang around all that much during his training as I had spent most of my time doing all manner of errands to get his next teachers to agree to the unorthodox method in which I wish for them to teach him in.
When the year of training had finished Angron had grown quite a bit taller to the point of reaching the normal height of a space marine. His previously bald head coved in scars had be replaced with deep rust red braids fashioned to appear similar to his long since pasted father's own butcher nails.
Along his arms the repeated creation of circuits had resulted in his veins and nerves permanently becoming a deep black that contrasted quite a bit with his taned skin.
The biggest change was that the iris's of his eyes had become a menacing blood red after he tried to create his own mystic eyes of magic perception and had only just been able to have his eyes saved by Merlin's timely aid.
"Merlin you stupid and I hope you manage to die again" I say bluntly as I stand before him while Angron tries to cover his new addition.
"I wasn't my fault he decided to perform the entire operation himself" he whined but I just stared at him blankly.
"You have clairvoyance" I say while Angrons head snaps to glare at Merlin after realising that his eyes could have been saved properly.
"I was distracted ok" he dodges out of the way from Angrons swing at his head while smiling like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth.
"Whatever it was a good lesson in not doing things halfed cocked" I say as we make our way to the entrance door.
"Yes it was all a lesson" Merlin nodded his head sagely.
When we arrived at the door I grabbed the coin I had prepared just for Merlin before flipping it over to him.
"Here's some payment for all the trouble" he brought the coin up to his eye to inspect it before his face turned pale.
"This would happen to be a location tracker from Morgan would it" he says with a small tremor in his voice but I just smile at him as I close the door on his face, ignoring the screams that follow from Morgan teleporting beside him using the coin she gave me.
"What was that about?" Angron asked but I just happily skipped my way over to the next door in the hall.
"Now this teacher will be quite a bit different from both Scáthach and Merlin. As you will be joining him on missions as backup while learning survival from him." I smile saddly as I observed the bow on the front of the door we are to enter.
"This person won't teach you techniques or skills he will teach you to survive at all costs" I push open the door to show a desolate landscape covered in all manner of swords and weapons.
"This is the personal World of the wrought iron hero. EMIYA the faker" I say and even before the last syllable leaves my lips an arrow flys past my head and is only just redirected by Angrons spear.
"Don't expect to be treated well" I say as I take a step to the side as another arrow is launched from over the horizon and almost punctured Angrons eye had it not been for a hurriedly created magic barrier.
I teleport to the one spot in this world with any sign of life in the form of a single tree and patch of grass apon which the fuzzy outline of a beautiful gold and blue sword sat gently against the trunk of the tree.
Taking a seat on the edge of the grassy area so as to not disturb the sword I watch as Angron is forced to continually evade or parry the devastatingly powerful arrows from EMIYA.
Angron ducks under a particularly close arrow before making a mad sprint across the field of swords at his opponent but is interrupted by one of the arrows that had previously missed him curving and nearly taking his head off.
As the spiral like arrow nears Angrons face he flash forges his nerves into magic circuits before reinforcing both his body and his spear so he can intercept the arrow.
As his spear makes contact with the arrow it releases a grating noise as it grinds his weapon into a warped piece of slag that falls apart in his hands.
Angron make a quick decision and drops his spear before grasping one of the many blades around him stabbed into the floor.
As his hand claspes the hilt of the blade he feels it's very existence fight his grib but he hold onto it through sheer will before swinging it at the next arrow that hears him.
This Patten of Angrons weapons falling apart and breaking before he replaces it with one of the many around him continues for hours until the entire area around him is completely devoid of weapons with the sole exception of a pair of spears, one blood red and the other a bright gold.
He grasps the handles of both spears and when his hand makes contact he feels them fight him for only a moment before the feeling of acceptance washes over him and he rips the pears from the ground and spins them around to test there weight.
Nodding at how they feel he looks up and notices that the rain of arrows had stopped while he tested the weapons.
"Good you found something that accepts you" the blank almost monotone voice comes from behind him and when he whips around to face it he is met with twin blades of black and white aimed at his throat.
"Next we shall see how you fair in a real fight" the wrought iron hero spoke before taking a step back and settling into his stance.
