"Hey! Help us!" Isaac, standing on top of the truck, shouted in Na'vi, simultaneously firing his RPG again, blowing up another turbofan engine of the Dragon Assault Ship.
"Go help them!" Based on the idea that the enemy of my enemy is my friend, Eytukan immediately ordered the rest of the Na'vi. Although the other Na'vi were somewhat puzzled, they still controlled their Banshees, flying towards the truck to provide cover.
"Thud!" The heavy truck slammed into a blocking Tyrant, then rolled over several trenches, advancing through a hail of bullets. More than a dozen Na'vi leaped from their Banshees, armed with bows, arrows, and spears, continuously attacking the nearby PDF Soldiers and Tyrants. However, due to the rugged terrain and Carlos's deliberate erratic driving, the truck was now shaking violently, causing the Na'vi's attacks to largely miss their targets.
If one were to view this small battlefield from a God's perspective, they would find that the Na'vi and PDF Soldiers had been attacking each other for a long time, but with almost no casualties. This was the precise result of the PDF Soldiers and Isaac's squad acting deliberately, creating a show. In such an intense battlefield, the Na'vi didn't notice these subtle details at all. They could only continuously urge Isaac and the others to "Drive faster!" Simultaneously, a surge of the beast tide split off, attacking the side gate and providing cover for the evacuation of Isaac's squad and the Na'vi. This tactical maneuver was influenced by the shaman Mort's subtle guidance.
"Engage the beast tide! Ignore those despicable traitors!" A PDF Soldiers non-commissioned officer shouted, deliberately ensuring the Na'vi heard him. The other PDF Soldiers immediately turned their guns, no longer attacking the distant truck, but focusing their attention on the charging beast tide.
"Come up!" Tsu'tey wanted to pull Isaac beside him onto a Banshee for a faster evacuation.
"No! Our original bodies are still in the truck! And there's also information about the base's defensive arrangements inside!" Isaac immediately refused. The Na'vi became pleasantly surprised upon hearing this. They had initially thought they were only rescuing a few "Dreamwalkers" who were on their side, but now they had stumbled upon something of immense value.
Under the cover of the beast tide, the remaining Na'vi also began to cover the speeding truck on the ground. And the flying vehicles in the air, with a tacit understanding, all aimed their cannons at the beast tide below, no longer concentrating their firepower on the Na'vi.
After more than ten minutes, the truck finally broke out of the intense firefight area and plunged into the dense rainforest. Although he knew no more attacks would fall on the truck, Isaac still had Carlos continue driving forward to complete the act. It wasn't until the truck had driven for half an hour into the rainforest that it finally stopped. At this point, everyone was already twenty to thirty kilometers away from Hell's Gate Base. But even from such a long distance, everyone could still see the soaring flames and the beast tide that was still gathering and charging around them.
"Eywa be praised, what an utter disgrace!" Tsu'tey, known for his slightly more violent temper, let out an angry roar, his hatred for the Sky People continuously intensifying. At the same time, he abruptly turned his head and stared intently at Isaac and Jill beside him. "Where is the Sky People's defense layout information? Hand it over quickly!"
Just as Isaac was about to respond with the pre-arranged lines, Eytukan, the leader of the Na'vi, leaped from his Banshee onto the top of the truck. "Tsu'tey! Watch your words!" Tsu'tey, having been reprimanded, reluctantly took a few steps back, yielding his position to Eytukan.
"I am Eytukan, leader of the Forest Clan Na'vi. I need to know your names."
"My name is Isaac, this is Jill, and the one driving below is Carlos," Isaac introduced his squad.
"I need to know why you helped us," Eytukan's eyes were sharp and discerning.
Isaac, however, was not flustered in the slightest and pulled out the pre-prepared explanation. "We are dissenters among humans. We do not approve of the colonization and extermination plans issued by the higher-ups, so we defected during this chaos. It's impossible for us to return to human society, so we can only help you."
This explanation sounded flawless, but Eytukan still did not let down his guard. "Where is the defense information you mentioned? Let us see it." Isaac didn't waste any more words, immediately flipped off the truck roof, and opened the cargo compartment. Three huge link beds and various complex instruments and facilities were placed in the very center of the compartment, and lying inside were the human bodies of Isaac and the others. In the corner, several computer devices were placed, storing some weapon data of the RDA, as well as the defense layout information of Hell's Gate Base.
Of course, Marcus and Wesker, as decision-makers, were not fools; they certainly wouldn't hand over all the true, sensitive information. Therefore, this data only contained information about the RDA's outdated weapons and equipment. As for the defense layout information, it was seventy percent true and thirty percent false, and the PDF Soldiers could be redeployed at any time according to orders, so the actual usefulness of this information was limited. However, all of this was clearly unknown to these Na'vi, who lacked understanding of humans, or rather, of the PDF Soldiers.
Isaac operated for a bit, then displayed the data on the screen. "Here is the layout map of the base's two side gate areas. Only a part of the front is shown." Eytukan immediately stepped forward and quickly scanned the information with his eyes. After comparing it with the memories in his mind, Eytukan confirmed the authenticity of the data.
"Do the Sky People know this data was stolen?" Eytukan looked at Isaac. This concerned the subsequent actions the Na'vi would take.
"Uncertain, but most likely they don't know. We blew up the place where this part of the data was stored before we left." To make the act completely convincing and increase its authenticity, under Wesker's command, Isaac and a few others did indeed use bombs to collapse a specific location within Hell's Gate Base. Of course, there were naturally no valuable items inside that location. Eytukan recalled that when the beast tide first attacked the Sky People's positions, there had indeed been an explosion in the Sky People's base.
After repeated verification, the Na'vi finally lowered their guard against Isaac and the others somewhat. "Leader, we should go back now and continue fighting those Sky People!" Tsu'tey's tone was agitated; with this defense layout information in hand, their attack effectiveness would greatly increase. Coupled with the endless beast tide, they would definitely cause heavy losses to the Sky People.
"No, we retreat." After calmly considering, Eytukan, as the leader, gave the unexpected order.
