Pandora, within Hell's Gate Base. The desperate RDA employees clenched their teeth, frantically watching the Zoanthropes, Tyranid Hive Tyrants, and Tyrant Xenomorphs that guarded every exit of the base. During this time, some, in desperation, attempted to escape. But as soon as these individuals made a move, they were immediately torn apart.
Some even disregarded Doctor Grace's objections and forcibly used Avatar bodies, attempting to flee the base. However, these strong blue forms, hybridized from Na'vi and human genes, only managed to escape a dozen meters from the base before being reduced to a bloody mist by psychic power.
Panic and despair spread throughout Hell's Gate Base. Moreover, due to a relentless magnetic storm, they couldn't even contact the Star of Entrepreneurship in orbit for support.
"Look up!" an alert RDA employee suddenly shouted. Everyone's gaze shot skyward, toward the overcast heavens. Dozens of giant fireballs were breaking through the atmosphere, rushing towards Hell's Gate Base below. Hope immediately ignited among the people in the base, as they believed these to be support ships sent by the Star of Entrepreneurship.
"Quick, activate the cameras!" Commander Parker immediately ordered. Through analysis from high-definition cameras, the full appearance of the ships, still engulfed in flames from atmospheric entry, appeared before everyone's eyes. "Those are definitely not the Star of Entrepreneurship's sub-ships." These landing craft from the Warhammer Universe were distinctly different from the Star of Entrepreneurship's vessels. The brief flicker of hope that had just ignited among the base personnel was instantly extinguished.
"Buzz~" Dozens of colossal ships gradually slowed, finally halting within and around Hell's Gate Base. As the hatchways of all the ships opened, PDF Soldiers, who had been waiting patiently, fully armed and wearing basic breathing masks, immediately stepped out of the cabins.
Marcus, having returned to Hell's Gate Base with these forces, also used this moment to recall the three Tyranid Warbeasts he had left guarding the facility. The RDA employees in the base watched all of this with wide-eyed astonishment. They had no idea what had transpired in space, nor the origin of these unexpected soldiers. This was Pandora! How could tens of thousands of soldiers suddenly appear?
After more than half a month, the influence of the Academy of Immortality had begun to manifest in these PDF Soldiers. Originally, PDF was synonymous with low morale, lax discipline, and a tendency toward rebellion. But now, although all the PDF Soldiers had not yet reached the level of "veterans," they were already displaying strict obedience. Under the orders of their junior officers, tens of thousands of PDF Soldiers immediately spread out, securing control of Hell's Gate Base and its RDA personnel. More PDF Soldiers drove various armored vehicles out of the base, beginning the expansion.
Several PDF officers walked towards the RDA personnel who were being guarded by the soldiers. "We are the Planetary Defense Force from the Imperium of Man's Hive World Avarax, and we hereby formally declare that this planet will henceforth fall under the dominion of the Great God-Emperor!" After reading the announcement, an officer, as ordered, waved his hand, signaling the PDF Soldiers to escort all these people onto a landing craft for further processing.
(T/N : I don't know, but imagining from an RDA employee point of view, this scene is funny to me)
Aside from these PDF Soldiers and officers, the true command of this operation lay with certain crew members from the Resident Evil world. Leading them were Albert Wesker, who had ceased his work on mass-producing Tyrants to personally take lead on Pandora, and Alex Wesker. Marcus did not intend to personally command this operation; instead, he chose to delegate authority to his subordinates. After all, as he traveled to more and more worlds, he couldn't handle everything personally; proper delegation of authority was essential.
Wesker, dressed in a black trench coat, stepped out of the cabin and entered the command tower of Hell's Gate Base. "Acquire and thoroughly organize all data within the base." The research data on Pandora collected by RDA over the years was valuable, and Wesker needed this data to better understand his formidable opponent: the entire planet beneath their feet. Looking out the window at the incredibly beautiful yet perilous Pandora rainforest, Wesker's expression was serious. He knew that this operation would definitely not be simple, and thoroughly occupying and colonizing this planet would be a severe test.
After circling an area on the map drawn by RDA, Wesker decided to temporarily seize all facilities within Hell's Gate Base. He then planned to gradually expand their colonial footprint outwards. PDF Soldiers were not only capable of wielding guns but also proficient at clearing forests and erecting defensive positions. Upon receiving the order, tens of thousands of PDF Soldiers immediately swapped their weapons for engineering equipment like entrenching tools. They began to cooperate with the various engineering machinery left behind in Hell's Gate to construct forward positions in the designated areas outside the base.
"Be vigilant against any unknown creatures that appear before you! If they show any intention of attacking, you are authorized to retaliate immediately!" Several armored vehicles continuously patrolled the construction site, loudspeakers blaring. On Pandora, nearly every species carried a certain amount of toxins. Any lapse in vigilance could lead to an inexplicable death.
"No! You can't do this! This will provoke Eywa's resistance!" On the ship used to detain RDA employees, Doctor Grace became intensely agitated, witnessing the PDF Soldiers' brazen destruction of the environment. Although she didn't know what these so-called Imperium of Man forces were, Grace, who had in-depth research on Pandora, knew that such actions would undoubtedly enrage Pandora's dormant planetary consciousness—Eywa.
"Calm down, Doctor Grace." Flanked by several PDF Soldiers, Wesker stood before the RDA group.
"Who exactly are you?!" An angry Grace pointed her finger at Wesker, who appeared to be the Commander.
"Let me reiterate, we are from the Imperium of Man's Hive World Avarax." Receiving an incomprehensible answer, Grace continued to press, undeterred by the armed PDF Soldiers beside her. "Why did you come to Pandora? This is an absolute invasion!"
Wesker did not answer the question directly but sat down. "Higher species inherently possess the right to dominate lower ones, do they not?" Wesker, who considered himself to be on the path of evolution, chuckled. "How many species have you exterminated during your development? Even your home world, Earth, has been ruined beyond recognition." Grace was left speechless, utterly unable to refute him. Earth in the Avatar world had long been polluted beyond recognition due to overpopulation, and countless species had been driven to extinction; otherwise, humanity would not have intended to colonize Pandora.
