Selene, Eryndor, Velissandra, and Seraphina have long planned for this day: to restore Celestienne's emotions.
"We have to succeed," Selene said, her eyes radiating burning determination. "We must restore Celestienne's emotions."
"That's right," Eryndor chimed in, his eyes wandering, remembering the cheerful times at the academy. "When Celestienne had emotions, we always laughed together."
"I really miss the old Celestienne," Velissandra added, her voice full of hope.
"I... don't actually like Celestienne that much," Seraphina admitted, "but she's the only one who makes me not feel lonely."
With the same determination, they exclaimed, "We will restore Celestienne's emotions!" Their eyes sparkled with hope.
"This is our last chance," Selene reminded them in a serious tone. "If we fail, Celestienne may never feel emotions again."
"We know, Selene," they replied in unison. "We will make sure Celestienne's emotions return."
As they left their respective rooms, they saw Celestienne standing in front of the god tree, her gaze cold and piercing, her aura frightening.
"What is she doing?" Eryndor whispered, his voice trembling.
"I don't know," Velissandra replied, her eyes showing worry.
"We have to visit Luna first," Selene whispered, "then we'll take care of Celestienne."
They nodded slightly, then rushed towards Luna's room, hoping their friend would wake up soon.
Luna & Rion's Room.
Rion was still sitting by his sister Luna's bed, deep in thought. His mind was filled with regret and worry. Luna's protective necklace had been removed by Celestienne, and since then his sister had not regained consciousness. He sighed deeply, trying to calm himself. Suddenly, there was a soft knock on the door.
"Who is it?" he asked in a hoarse voice.
"It's us, Rion," replied familiar voices.
Rion stood up, kissed his sister's forehead gently, then walked to the door. "Come in."
"Thank you, Rion," they said in unison.
Selene, Eryndor, Velissandra, and Seraphina entered the room. They looked at Luna, who was lying weakly in bed, with sad expressions.
"So, Luna still hasn't woken up?" Velissandra asked with concern.
"Not yet," Rion replied with a resigned tone. "The sword spirit inside Celestienne said that the only way to wake Luna up is to restore Celestienne's emotions."
"Sword spirit?" Eryndor frowned. "Tell us what happened, Rion."
"You want to know about my conversation with the sword spirit?" Rion asked, his eyes showing exhaustion.
"Yes," Selene replied hopefully. "Maybe we can find a way to restore Celestienne's emotions from there."
"Alright," Rion sighed. "This is the story of my conversation with the sword spirit yesterday..."
Yesterday.
After Celestienne went to the front of the god sword, Rion was still in tears. Not because of Celestienne's sad story, but because his sister was still lying unconscious.
"Why won't Luna wake up?" Rion cried, his tears flowing even faster.
Suddenly, his tears dripped onto Luna's face. The sword spirit appeared before him, placing a hand on Rion's shoulder.
"You want to know how to wake up your sister, Rion?" the sword spirit asked with a serious look.
"How?" Rion asked with a hopeful tone.
"Come closer," the sword spirit whispered.
Rion brought his ear closer. He saw Celestienne watching him from a distance, her gaze empty and cold. Rion understood that he had to be careful.
"You have to restore Celestienne's emotions," the sword spirit whispered. "That way, the lost emotions will return to your sister's body. That's the only way."
"What do you mean?" Rion asked, confused. "If Luna doesn't have emotions, will she become like a ghost?"
"Your sister actually doesn't have any emotions at all," the sword spirit replied. "Celestienne is the one who gives her emotions, making her always cheerful."
"So, when Luna cried seeing the elf village destroyed, those were emotions created by Celestienne?"
"Correct."
"How do I restore Celestienne's emotions?"
"There are two ways," the sword spirit replied. "First, you have to defeat Celestienne. Second, someone has to be stabbed by Celestienne first. That's the only way. If you don't want to, then fine."
The sword spirit disappeared into the god sword. Rion fell silent, his mind racing.
"How can I defeat Celestienne?" he whispered softly, his tears falling one by one.
Back to the Present.
"That's the story from the sword spirit," Rion finished his story with a resigned tone.
"Hmm... I see," Selene murmured. "In that case, I have to use the power from my future self."
"Power from the future?" Eryndor stared at Selene in disbelief.
"Yes," Selene replied firmly. "We will make a plan. Don't be reckless, okay?"
"Okay," they replied in unison.
Selene, her friends, and Rion began to discuss, looking for a way to defeat Celestienne and restore her emotions.
"Okay, does everyone agree with my plan?" Selene asked after explaining her strategy.
"Yes, we agree," Eryndor replied with eyes sparkling with determination.
"Alright," Selene nodded. "We will defeat Celestienne tomorrow morning."
"Okay!" they replied in unison.
Selene left Luna's room, her mind filled with the events of last night, when she fell asleep and entered a mysterious place.
Last Night.
After making a plan, Selene returned to her room. She stared at her reflection in the mirror, her mind racing thinking about her meeting with her future self.
"Who am I in the future? Why did my ears turn into elf ears? Why do my eyes radiate so much power?"
Those questions continued to haunt her. She showered, ate, but still couldn't find an answer. Finally, she lay in bed, staring at the moon shining brightly in the night sky.
"Never mind," she murmured. "The important thing is, I have to focus on the plan to restore Celestienne's emotions."
She closed her eyes, trying to sleep. Suddenly, she felt like she was falling into a deep abyss. When she opened her eyes, she was no longer in her room.
"Where am I?" she asked frantically. "Why does this place feel like when I touched the god tree?"
Selene ran around in confusion, trying to find a way out. Suddenly, a bright light appeared before her.
"What is this light?" she whispered in confusion.
Selene touched the light, and instantly she was drawn into it. She felt a strange sensation, like floating in empty space. Then, she opened her eyes because of the bright morning sun.
"Is it morning already?" she asked in shock. "Why am I in a meadow?"
She stood up and saw a woman singing. The woman's voice was very melodious and beautiful, making Selene transfixed.
"Who is that woman?" she murmured. "Could it be... I have to meet her immediately."
Selene ran towards the woman. The woman turned and smiled. Selene was shocked, the woman's face was very similar to hers.
"Why is her face so similar to mine?" she whispered. "But her ears... she's an elf. Who are you?"
"Hello, my past self," the woman replied with a charming smile.
"So, you are me in the future?" Selene asked in shock. "Could it be... I will become an elf?"
"Hahahah," the woman laughed softly. "Not like that. Our family turns out to have elf blood. That's why we became elves."
Selene was shocked to hear that confession. She was also amazed by the beauty of her future self.
"Alright, no need for formalities," Selene said in a cold tone. "Why did you come into my dream?"
Her future self stopped sipping her tea, her eyes turning serious. "I'll get straight to the point. Restore the emotions of Celestienne Aurelith, our friend."
"What?!" Selene was shocked. "So, you came into my dream to ask for my help in restoring Celestienne's emotions?"
"Yes," the woman replied with a hopeful look. "If you don't restore Celestienne's emotions, she will destroy this world once again."
Selene was annoyed to hear the fact that even her future self couldn't control Celestienne without emotions.
"Then, how can I control Celestienne's emotions? You yourself can't do it!"
"Calm down," the woman replied. "I will give you some of my power. Maybe this can help restore Celestienne's emotions."
Her future self gave some of her power to Selene from the past.
"Is this the power from my future self?" Selene asked in amazement.
"Yes," the woman replied. "But remember, if you manage to restore Celestienne's emotions, this power will disappear from you and return to me."
"Alright," Selene replied.
As her future self was about to disappear, Selene remembered something. She wanted to know about her future.
"Who will I be later in the future?" she asked curiously.
"You want to know about yourself in the future?" the woman smiled. "You will become a god of the elves, surpassing the god tree. That's all you need to know. Goodbye, my past self. Restore our Celestienne's emotions."
The woman smiled once again, then disappeared.
Selene returned her smile. "Definitely," she murmured. "I will restore the emotions of our friend, Celestienne Aurelith."
Back in the Present.
"I will use this power to restore Celestienne's emotions," Selene vowed. "I must not fail like my future self."
The Next Morning.
Selene, her friends, and Rion woke up at the same time. Today was the decisive day: to defeat Celestienne.
"We have to defeat Celestienne, no matter what," they murmured in their hearts.
They opened their room doors simultaneously, then smiled at each other, encouraging each other.
"I understand, Sister Selene," Rion thought in his heart.
Rion ran to the elves, telling them to evacuate to a safe place, away from the battlefield between Celestienne and her friends.
"Rion has given the signal," Selene said in a serious tone. "We have to start fighting her."
"Okay, Selene," they replied in unison.
They rushed to meet Celestienne, their eyes radiating courage and determination to restore their friend's emotions.
Celestienne opened her eyes and looked at her friends. Her gaze was cold and piercing, as if challenging them to fight.
"Do you want to betray me, friends?" she asked in a cold tone.
"No," Selene replied in a loud voice. "We are not betraying our own friend. But you are not our friend. Our friend is someone cheerful and kind, not like you!" Selene's shout created a strong gust of wind.
"We will fight with you to restore our precious friend!"
Selene's hair turned light green, and her eyes also changed color, radiating an extraordinary aura of power. Wind swirled around her.
"Let's fight, Celestienne Aurelith," Selene challenged with a sharp look. "Or, more precisely, imitator of my friend."
"Are you sure you want to fight me alone, Selene?" Celestienne asked with a dismissive tone.
Selene felt a little scared and panicked, but her heart did not waver. She saw her friends standing behind her, ready to support her.
"No," Eryndor replied firmly. "Selene is not alone. We are here."
"We can't possibly sacrifice Selene, our precious friend," Velissandra added while tying her hair.
"Even though the real Celestienne is lost, she is still our precious friend," Seraphina said angrily. "You dare to imitate my friend!"
"Oh, I see," Celestienne smiled cynically. "So, you want to fight me, four against one? Alright, I'll entertain you. Come here!"
"I will also join the fight," Rion stepped forward with a determined look. "For my sister, and to restore Sister Celestienne's emotions."
Celestienne smiled, her battle aura growing stronger. She darted towards Selene and her friends with incredible speed.
"Damn, she's too fast!" Selene shouted.
"EVADE EVERYONE!" Eryndor shouted.
The ground they were standing on shattered into pieces, large cracks opened up, and stones flew everywhere.
"What is this?" Velissandra shouted in disbelief. "If we get hit, we could be destroyed!"
"FOCUS!" Selene shouted.
They began to get serious, launching attack after attack towards Celestienne. Their attacks were so fast and powerful that even the elves couldn't follow their movements.
"What is this?" an elf shouted. "How can Rion keep up with the humans' movements? Why has he suddenly become so strong?"
Their attacks were so devastating that even the mountains in the distance were destroyed just by being hit by the wind from their attacks.
"Hahahahah!" Celestienne laughed. "Come on, entertain me, you loser humans! Again... again... again!" Her face radiated a terrifying joy.
"We five are not losers," Selene shouted angrily. "We are true friends! DIE, CELESTIENNE IMITATOR!"
"HAAAAAAAA!!"
Selene, her friends, and Rion were almost out of energy, but they knew someone was watching them from out there.
Outside the Mortal World.
The rulers of the stars watched the battle between true friends and the imitator of true friends with great interest.
"A very interesting show," one star ruler commented.
"Hahahahah," another star ruler laughed. "I wonder, who will win? The imitator of friends or the friends who are fighting the imitator? Let's enjoy this entertainment."
They smiled, looking at the screen displaying the fierce battle in the mortal world.
In the Mortal World.
Selene, her friends, and Rion were still fighting with Celestienne. The ground around them had been completely destroyed, nothing was left.
"Alright," Celestienne said in an arrogant tone. "You're out of energy. Give up, you annoying humans."
"We will not give up," Selene replied firmly. "Do you remember when we became friends?"
The Time Before Becoming Friends.
Selene, Eryndor, Velissandra, and Seraphina looked at the beautiful night sky together with Celestienne.
"It's very beautiful, isn't it?" Celestienne smiled at her friends.
"Yes, very beautiful," Selene replied. "No wonder you like looking at the night sky."
"Hey, friends," Celestienne asked curiously. "If I were controlled by something and lost my emotions, would you help me until I came back?"
"Of course!" Eryndor replied confidently. "We will definitely fight for you. We're friends, we will definitely help each other."
"That's right," Velissandra added. "We are friends."
Celestienne was touched to hear her friends' answers. Tears of emotion flowed down her cheeks.
Back to the Present.
"Oh, you still remember that?" Celestienne said in a cynical tone. "Fight to restore my emotions."
"Yes," Selene replied firmly. "We will definitely fight to restore your emotions, Celestienne."
Celestienne smiled, but Rion was already panting, almost out of energy.
(Continuation due to character limit)
"I can't run out of energy here," Rion thought persistently. "I have to save my sister and restore Sister Celestienne's emotions."
As he was about to fall, he felt a strange force lifting him up. He felt his energy recover, even increase.
"Why does my power feel like it's being enhanced by someone?" he murmured.
"Yo, my past self," a voice echoed in his mind. "I am giving my power to save our brother and sister. But remember, after you save them, this power will return to me."
Rion smiled. He knew Selene had told him everything. He regulated his breathing, opened his eyes, and his eyes shone blue.
"Sagittarius Last Arrow Technique!!" he shouted.
Behind Rion, the shadow of a legendary archer, Sagittarius, appeared. Everyone was amazed.
"What is that?" Eryndor shouted. "Don't tell me you got power from your future self, Rion?"
As Rion fell silent, everyone felt the tremendous power radiating from him. They also heard other voices.
"Save our true friend! Use our power!"
"Tier 10 Lightning Magic! Zeus Lightning!!"
"Tier 10 Water Magic! Poseidon Spear!!"
"Tier 10 Sword Technique! Fire God Slash!!"
Behind Eryndor, Velissandra, and Seraphina, legendary mythological gods appeared.
"I see," Selene smiled victoriously. "So, your futures also want to restore Celestienne's emotions."
"Alright," Selene shouted. "This is the strongest magic from my future self! Tier 10 Last Magic! Wind God!!"
"Now!" Selene shouted. "DIE, IMITATOR OF OUR FRIEND!!"
"Come on, I will face your attacks!" Celestienne laughed joyfully.
However, as they were about to release their power, they saw magic ropes wrapped around Celestienne's legs from below.
"Yo, Sister! Long time no see! Oh yeah, I forgot, you're not my sister," a cynical voice interjected.
A figure emerged from underground, his gaze terrifying.
"Now, unleash your power, Sister's friends!"
They unleashed their attacks with all their might.
SWUSH!!
The attack hit Celestienne's chest, but could not penetrate the protective shield she had created.
"Can't penetrate!" Eryndor shouted in panic. "What now?"
The elves joined the fight, giving their power to Selene, Eryndor, Velissandra, Seraphina, and Rion.
"You, we will give our power to you!"
Selene smiled. She felt an incredible energy gathering behind her. She saw a bright light approaching.
"Evade everyone!!" Selene shouted.
"I know you can't defeat Celestienne because she is too strong," a voice said. "So, I'll help too, okay!"
All the residents of Mercatoria and the academy students joined the battle.
Selene smiled. She and her friends continued their attacks towards Celestienne. Celestienne's protective shield began to crack.
"This power is not enough!" Rion shouted in panic. "We are not strong enough to defeat Sister Celestienne!"
"Forgive me, Princess Celestienne," a faint voice was heard. "I will betray you so you can live happily."
The sword spirit came out of Celestienne's body and chanted a spell on Celestienne's head.
"Now, everyone!!" Selene shouted.
Everyone used their full power. Their attacks made the cracks even bigger on Celestienne's protective shield.
However, as everyone ran out of energy, something shot from the sky towards Celestienne.
"What is that?" Velissandra shouted. "It's heading towards Celestienne!"
SWUSH!!
A weapon destroyed Celestienne's protective shield. The weapon was just a kitchen knife. Selene saw an opportunity.
"Now, friends!!" Selene shouted.
Their combined attacks hit Celestienne. Celestienne's chest was pierced, blood flowed from her mouth. She fell to the ground.
"Hah... hah... hah," Selene panted. "Finally... it's over."
Celestienne felt her heart empty and dark. She closed her eyes. She was in the forest of death.
"Isn't this the place where I reincarnated?" Celestienne murmured.
"Yes," a gentle voice replied. "I remember everything. Why did I suddenly lose my emotions? Darkness... silence... no one to accompany me."
"Who says there's no one to accompany you, Celestienne?" a cheerful voice chimed in.
In front of Celestienne, a bright light appeared. Selene reached out her hand, grasping Celestienne's hand.
"Come on," Selene smiled. "Let's go to our friends. They have been waiting for you for a long time."
"Hmm," Celestienne nodded. "I will be with you."
Celestienne regained consciousness. She was in a recovery room. All her friends were waiting for her.
"Hmm... I won't wake you up," she murmured.
She felt comfortable being watched. She looked at the starry night sky with a smile. Happiness filled her heart. Her emotions had returned.
