Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Humiliation of the Rabbit, Between Ashes and Ruin.

.

The Humiliation of the Rabbit, Between Ashes and Ruin.

.

.

Night enveloped one of Japan's many cities, while the lights from streetlamps, billboards, and buildings illuminated the streets.

.

.

Amidst it all, a curious trio strolled down the avenues with a carefree air: Black Sperm, Rover, and little Eri.

.

.

Eri, riding in a shopping cart, observed everything around her with sparkling eyes, as if every single thing she saw were a wonder never before discovered.

.

"Look, look! Lights everywhere!" Eri exclaimed with a smile. Every streetlight, every sign, every flash from the vehicles passing by her side, was fascinating to her. Ever since she had been rescued by the Kaijins, the world felt completely new, full of adventures and discoveries.

The girl, who had once lived only in terror and darkness, now enjoyed the little moments, and that made her happy.

In front of her, Rover, looking somewhat larger than usual and monstrous, pulled the cart enthusiastically.

His enormous tail swished from side to side, excited by the smells and sounds his senses were picking up.

.

.

"Rover looks like he's competing in a sled race!" Eri thought as she laughed. Every now and then, the canine monster would stop to sniff something interesting, like a trash bag or a lamppost, before continuing on his way, making Eri laugh.

.

Meanwhile, Black Sperm walked beside the cart, lost in thought. He wasn't the type to get carried away by trivialities, but at that moment he was focused on something more important: his next move.

.

.

"We need a base... supplies... and to consider whether it would be useful to find allies in this new world...," he thought as he glanced sideways at Eri, who seemed completely oblivious to any worries.

.

.

Suddenly, a sound interrupted his thoughts. It was a soft but distinct noise, something any person or monster would recognize: the growl of an empty stomach.

.

.

Black Sperm looked up and watched Eri, who was blushing as she hugged her tummy. The little girl was trying to hide her embarrassment, but her rosy cheeks gave her away.

.

"Um… sorry, Mr. Black… I think I'm hungry," Eri said shyly, rubbing her tummy.

.

Black Sperm let out a sigh. "Ah, sure. I guess it's time to find something to eat. Rover, you're hungry too, aren't you?"

.

Rover responded with a loud bark, wagging his tail faster. Just like Eri, his stomach was starting to growl too.

.

"Well, looks like it's unanimous," Black Sperm muttered, scratching his chin. "Let me think… I'll find something for us to eat, don't worry."

.

Eri smiled broadly upon hearing Black Sperm's words. "Oh, great! I wonder what it'll be..."

.

.

"Will we get treats? Maybe something sweet like cupcakes?" she said as her imagination ran wild. Her eyes sparkled with hope as she thought of all the delicious things they could eat.

.

Rover also seemed to share the fantasy, as he began to paw the ground impatiently, almost as if he were imagining a big plate full of juicy meat waiting for him.

.

Black Sperm watched them with a mixture of disbelief and amusement.

.

.

"Are you serious? Now you're daydreaming?! You look like two puppies waiting for their favorite food!" he thought to himself as he watched both Eri and Rover seem to share the same longing expression.

.

It was surprising how those two had become so close in such a short time, sharing emotions and thoughts as if they were a little family.

.

"All right, all right, calm down. Don't get too excited, and don't get your hopes up too high. Who knows what we'll find?" said Black Sperm, crossing his arms and trying to sound matter-of-fact.

.

Eri looked at Black Sperm with a mischievous smile. "I know we'll find something delicious! I have faith in you, Mr. Black!"

Black Sperm sighed again, this time with a slight smile. "Yeah, yeah, sure. And if we don't find anything, we can always eat an old shoe," he joked, making Eri laugh.

"That's gross, Mr. Black! I don't want to eat shoes!" she protested, laughing.

"It's a joke, little one. Although in a world like this, you never know what might come in handy…," said Black Sperm, winking, which made Eri laugh even harder.

With good humor accompanying them, they continued on their way.

.

.

After walking down several streets, the trio finally stopped in front of a small park bench. Black Sperm, looking around with a critical eye, decided this was a good place to take a brief break. He turned to Eri and Rover, pointing at the bench with an authoritative gesture.

.

"Listen, you two. Stay seated here. Don't move an inch. I have some... business to attend to," he said, his voice taking on a serious tone.

.

Eri nodded obediently, without questioning anything, as she sat down next to Rover, who settled in beside her, wagging his tail lazily. To her, whatever Black Sperm said was an order she had to follow, and although it was somewhat unusual to have monsters as family, she trusted them completely.

.

.

"Where are you going?" Eri asked in a soft tone, but without trying to stop him.

Black Sperm gave her a quick look and smiled sidelong. "Don't worry, kid. I'm just going to… get us some money."

.

Without waiting for further explanation, he disappeared into the shadows of the nearby alley, leaving Eri and Rover behind.

.

.

Moving with overwhelming speed, Black Sperm made his way into the busiest parts of the city, his sharp gaze searching for a suitable victim. It was late, and although a few people were hurrying along the sidewalks, he knew what he was looking for: someone unsuspecting and carrying more money than they needed.

.

It didn't take him long to find his target. A few meters away, a man in flashy clothes was walking down the street; his outfit screamed luxury and opulence. He wore an expensive watch that glinted in the lamplight and a gold chain around his neck. Without a doubt, this guy was rolling in money. Black Sperm flashed a malicious smile. "Perfect."

.

.

Moving through the shadows with the skill of a seasoned hunter, Black Sperm slipped toward his target without a sound. He was nearly invisible among the crowd, a shadow slipping by undetected. As he got close enough, he calculated the precise moment the man would cross a less-traveled alley. That was when Black Sperm struck.

In the blink of an eye, he lunged at the man, grabbing him from behind with one of his many arms. With impressive strength, he quickly dragged him into the darkness of the alley before the man could let out a cry for help.

.

.

"What the hell…?" the man exclaimed, trying to free himself from the hand holding him, but he soon realized he didn't stand a chance against Black Sperm's superhuman strength. Fear gripped him.

"Don't make a sound. It'll be quick if you cooperate," Black Sperm whispered, with an unsettling calm as he held the man against the wall. "I only need one thing from you… and it's something you can give without any trouble."

.

The man trembled with fear, barely able to stammer. "W-what… what do you want? I-I have a family, please!…"

.

"Ah, don't worry. Thank your lucky stars—I'm not interested in your life," said Black Sperm with a mocking smile. "I just want what you're carrying. Come on, the money."

.

The man, his hands trembling, reached for his wallet with difficulty and handed it over, hoping the robbery would end quickly. But Black Sperm wasn't done. With nimble movements, he searched the man's pockets, finding his phone, rings, and, to top it off, the expensive gold watch he wore on his wrist. "Well, well, what a fortune you're carrying on you," Black Sperm remarked as he stuffed the loot into his own pocket.

"Please… just take whatever you want and let me go," the man pleaded, his voice breaking with fear.

.

Black Sperm shoved him away, sending the man crashing to the ground. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you… any more than necessary," he said as he turned to leave. But before walking away completely, he paused for a second. "Oh, and a word of advice. Next time, don't dress like a walking beacon. You attract all kinds of trouble… like me."

.

.

Without another word, he vanished into the darkness, leaving the man huddled against the wall, trembling and grateful to be alive.

.

Back with Eri and Rover, Black Sperm appeared just as quickly as he had left, walking with an indifferent expression as if nothing had happened. Eri, who had been busy petting Rover, looked at him curiously.

.

"Is everything okay, Mr. Black?" she asked with her characteristic innocence.

.

"Everything's perfect. I got some money so we can dine like kings," said Black Sperm with a smile. He showed off the wallet stuffed with bills he'd taken, making Eri's eyes light up with excitement.

.

"Does that mean we'll get to eat something delicious?" she asked, full of hope.

"Yes, sweetheart. Tonight will be special," said Black Sperm, while Rover wagged his tail excitedly, ready to move on.

The trio set off again, with the promise of a good dinner ahead.

.

.

The trio had settled into a small, modest restaurant that was still open late at night. The place was cozy, with soft yellow lighting that gave the atmosphere a warm and peaceful feel. The owner, a kind-looking elderly woman, raised no objection to the peculiar group that walked in: a little girl riding in a shopping cart, a strange-looking black dog that wouldn't stop wagging its tail, and a man with an unsettling presence. It wasn't the usual clientele, but upon seeing Eri's innocent smile, she decided not to ask any questions.

.

Eri, sitting in one of the chairs at the table, smoothed out her slightly worn dress, but for her, it was the closest thing to happiness she had experienced in a long time. The dress was old, but at least it was clean, and that was more than she had ever had in the past.

.

"What do you want to eat, kid?" Black Sperm asked as he glanced at the menu, though he didn't really need to read it. He'd chosen this place for its cheap menu and hearty portions.

.

Eri smiled broadly, excited to have the chance to choose her meal. "I want the same thing as you guys!" she exclaimed, as if it were the best possible choice.

.

Black Sperm chuckled. "You're easy to please."

.

.

Then, gesturing to the waiter, he ordered a couple of generous plates of meat, rice, and soup.

"And bring something extra for the dog," he added, referring to Rover, who was already in his small form, resting under the table with his ears pricked.

.

The minutes passed and the food finally arrived. The table was filled with steaming plates giving off a delicious aroma. Eri, her eyes shining, began to eat heartily, but always with careful manners. Rover, for his part, devoured his food without a second thought, his tail never stopping its wagging.

.

Black Sperm simply ate in silence, watching his companions. Although he had never understood the concept of "family," seeing Eri so happy stirred a feeling he couldn't quite identify; he felt he had changed. In fact, Black Sperm had changed ever since Saitama had indirectly spared his life.

.

.

He watched Eri as she ate her meal.

.

It wasn't kindness, nor was it concern. Perhaps it was satisfaction at having rescued her from the hell she was trapped in.

.

"Is it good?" asked Black Sperm, looking at Eri, who nodded vigorously while trying to chew a big bite of meat. Rover barked softly, as if he too were confirming that the food was delicious.

Time passed amid laughter, chats about what they'd seen in the city, and the satisfaction of a good meal. But, like every night, eventually the time came to continue on their way. After paying the bill with their newly acquired money, the trio left the restaurant, once again under the city's flickering lights.

.

Eri climbed back into the shopping cart, laughing softly as Rover, tied to it with a makeshift rope, pulled her along as if she were a sled. Black Sperm walked beside her, alert but calm, as they crossed the empty streets, enveloped in the serenity of the night.

.

.

In a completely destroyed area, the air was thick, heavy with the tension of what had occurred. The dim light from the streetlamps barely illuminated the remnants of the battle, casting long, ominous shadows over the rubble. The wind, which would normally be a cool breeze, seemed to carry with it the echo of what had happened moments before.

.

The deathly silence was broken by the distant sound of sirens. A police patrol was approaching, responding to multiple calls from citizens who had reported massive destruction and a commotion that no one could explain. The patrol car came to a screeching halt upon reaching the reported location. The car's headlights dimly illuminated the area, but what awaited them on the other side was far more disturbing than they could have imagined.

.

.

Two officers got out of the vehicle, slamming the doors with a crash that echoed in the still air.

"So this is the place we were told about?" asked one of the officers, a young man with a tense expression, surveying the scene before them.

His partner, an older man with more years on the force, nodded solemnly, though the bewilderment on his face was evident. "Yes, this is the spot. The coordinates match the calls. It doesn't look like we're in the wrong place… but everything looks normal so far."

.

Both remained silent for a moment, assessing the situation. The surrounding area seemed unusually quiet for the scene of a recent disaster. The streets were deserted, and there were no immediate signs of struggle or chaos.

The younger officer looked around, uneasy. "This doesn't look like a place where there's been a major disturbance. Didn't they say there was an explosion or something? I don't see anything… strange."

.

"Wait," his partner replied in a serious tone, as he turned on his flashlight and pointed toward the darker alleys. "I bet what we're looking for is further back, among those empty alleys. It's too quiet here for something as big as what they described."

.

With a sigh, both officers began to walk, their flashlights focused on the ground, sweeping the area. Their footsteps echoed off the alley walls, amplifying the sense of unease that filled the air.

As they ventured deeper into the darkness, the scene before them changed dramatically. The alleys, which until then had seemed peaceful, now showed clear signs of a catastrophic event.

.

.

"Good heavens!" exclaimed the younger officer, stopping abruptly. His voice trembled with disbelief.

His partner swallowed hard, sharing the same feeling. "What the hell happened here?"

.

Before them lay a vast zone of destruction. Entire buildings had been demolished, reduced to rubble. The street itself was cracked, as if a massive force had torn the ground apart. Structures that once stood proudly now lay in ruins, turned into piles of concrete and twisted steel.

"This... this wasn't caused by an accident," murmured the more experienced officer, his face turning pale. "This looks like the work of a villain... a very powerful one."

.

Both men felt a chill run down their spines. Their bodies trembled slightly, and the air they breathed seemed to grow heavy, difficult to inhale. With every step they took, the oppressive silence and desolation of the landscape enveloped them even more.

The younger officer tried to keep his composure, but he couldn't help looking around uneasily. "What kind of monster did this? What if it's still here?"

.

The more experienced officer remained silent for a moment, scanning the terrain with a critical eye. After a few moments, he pointed toward the center of the destruction. "I don't know, but it looks like there was a battle here. There are debris… as if something exploded from within. Maybe the villain has already left, but we can't be sure."

.

They hesitated for a moment, but then decided to move forward, knowing that their duty was to investigate. They walked cautiously, feeling the tension take hold of their bodies with every step they took.

"Hey, over here," the senior officer suddenly called out, stopping and shining his flashlight on a lump lying on the ground, a few meters away.

The younger officer frowned. "What did you find?"

.

"I think it's a body," his partner replied in a low voice. "Come take a look."

.

They both approached cautiously, their flashlights illuminating the area intermittently as they navigated the debris. Finally, they found themselves facing what was, indeed, the corpse of a man.

.

.

It was Chizaki, but his body was in such a state of decay and disarray that it was difficult to recognize his features. He was emaciated, his clothes in tatters, and his face unrecognizable. Around the corpse, a few flies buzzed, drawn by the stench of rotting flesh.

The younger officer took a step back, covering his mouth with his hand. "This is... horrible. What happened to this guy?"

.

"Looks like he took a beating, and then something else," muttered the senior officer, crouching down to examine the body. "But it's hard to tell who he was. The damage is too severe. We'll have to wait for the forensic team to try to identify him."

.

The young officer took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. "What do we do now?"

.

His partner stood up slowly, still staring at the corpse with eyes full of uncertainty. "This… is already beyond our control. We don't know who or what caused all this, but it's obvious it was a massive fight. We're going to need reinforcements… and heroes, too. This isn't something we can handle."

.

Without wasting any time, both officers pulled out their radios and began calling for backup, their urgent tone reflecting the gravity of the situation.

.

.

"Central, this is Patrol 103, requesting immediate backup on the alley off 57th Street. We have a devastated area and a badly mangled body. We're likely dealing with a villain showdown. We need hero support."

After hanging up, the younger officer looked around, as if the darkness of the place suddenly felt even more oppressive. "Do you think whatever did this is still here?"

.

The veteran shook his head, though his voice didn't convey complete certainty. "I don't know, but let's hope not. If someone or something can cause this level of destruction... then I don't want to be here when it comes back."

.

With the radio still in hand, they both remained silent, hoping that backup would arrive soon. The sirens of the patrol cars could already be heard in the distance, but what they had found there made it clear to them that they were dealing with a threat far greater than they could have imagined.

.

.

The atmosphere at the scene remained tense as the officers finished assessing the crime scene. Despite their training, nothing had prepared them for what they had just witnessed: massive destruction that, by all accounts, had been caused by something far beyond their comprehension.

.

With Chizaki's body still before them, both officers moved cautiously, nervous at the possibility that the cause of that devastation might be lurking in some dark corner.

.

"We have to secure the scene and take the body away immediately," murmured the senior officer, trying to control the tremor in his voice.

His partner nodded, his gaze still fixed on the decomposing corpse. "I'm going to call the forensic unit. This is too much for us."

.

While the younger officer called for backup, his partner approached the body carefully, putting on gloves so as not to contaminate the scene. Flies buzzed in the air around them, undisturbed by the presence of humans. The stench was unbearable, but the officers knew that protocol had to be followed to the letter.

.

The senior officer pulled a caution tape from his belt and began to cordon off the area, trying to maintain a secure perimeter while they waited.

.

The sirens of more patrol cars and ambulances began to sound in the distance, and the sound of a news helicopter cut through the night sky, drawing the attention of onlookers. The area would soon be swarming with personnel, but that only added to the pressure.

.

"There's no doubt about it," said the younger officer as he ended the call with headquarters, "this site is beyond our jurisdiction. We've already called for backup, but they'll need to call in a hero. And not just any hero…"

.

The senior officer paused for a moment, looking at the scene once more. The scale of the destruction left no room for doubt. "If someone could cause this, we need the best. There's no time to waste."

.

Without hesitation, the younger officer returned to his radio.

.

.

"Central, this is Patrol 103. Requesting urgent assistance from heroes on-site. We consider this scene too dangerous for regular forces. We require high-level support... We recommend contacting the heroine Rumi Usagiyama, alias Mirko. She is the closest and most suitable for this type of situation."

.

There was a brief pause in the communication before the operator's voice replied.

.

.

"Copy that, Patrol 103. Mirko will be notified and dispatched to the scene as soon as possible. Hold your positions and secure the area. Reinforcements are already on the way."

.

.

The chief officer exhaled deeply, almost relieved that the weight of the situation was being shared with the heroes. He knew that as soon as Mirko arrived, the investigation could move forward quickly.

.

Meanwhile, the forensic teams had already begun to arrive. Armed with powerful flashlights and cameras, they began documenting the scene, taking photos of Chizaki's body and the debris covering the area. One of the forensic experts, clearly shaken by the state of the body, crouched down to inspect it more closely.

"This is... unbelievable," the forensic expert murmured, taking notes. "I haven't seen anything like this in years. He's torn to pieces, but not by explosions or conventional weapons. This is something... different."

.

Another team arrived with a stretcher and a body bag. Gently, they lifted Chizaki's remains and placed him inside the bag, sealing it tightly. The officers watched in silence, knowing that this was no ordinary crime. The marks of the battle were still fresh in the air, and everyone shared the feeling that something worse might have happened if the circumstances had been slightly different.

.

.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the city, Mirko received the emergency call. He had been patrolling a nearby town when the notification came in from headquarters. The operator's urgent tone immediately told him this was no ordinary case.

.

"Mirko, we have a scenario of mass destruction underway," said the operator, as the heroine adjusted her headset.

.

"The area is completely devastated, and we've already recovered a body at the scene. The police and the forensic team believe this was caused by an entity with extraordinary power. We need you to head to the site as soon as possible."

.

Mirko, who was already in action, wasted no time. "Any clues as to the culprit? Any villains identified?"

.

"We don't have any concrete information yet," the operator replied. "Officers haven't reported any movement in the area, but due to the extent of the damage, extreme caution is advised. This could be a high-level villain or a group operating with unknown methods."

.

The heroine frowned as she picked up speed. "Got it. I'm on my way."

Using her incredible strength and speed, Mirko moved swiftly through the dark streets, leaping across rooftops and roads with impressive agility. The moon illuminated her figure, while her rabbit ears fluttered in the wind. As she moved forward, her mind worked through different theories about what could have caused such a disaster. She had faced powerful villains before, but something about this situation made her feel uneasy.

.

.

After traveling for a while, the city lights began to fade, and the devastated areas that the officers had reported began to come into view in the distance. Mirko was rapidly approaching the zone, feeling how the air seemed denser and heavier as she neared the epicenter of the destruction.

.

His communication with headquarters was reestablished. "Mirko, we've got more details. The forensic team has identified a body at the scene. We haven't confirmed the identity, but the descriptions indicate it could be Chizaki."

.

Mirko's eyes narrowed. "Chizaki... so he was involved in this. That changes things. If he was here, it's not just some ordinary villain who caused this. I need to be prepared for anything."

.

Finally, after covering the last few meters, Mirko landed softly on the ground, near the police cordon. The officers present looked at her with a mixture of relief and anticipation.

The heroine stood up straight, surveying the landscape of destruction around her. Shattered buildings, unrecognizable streets, and the air heavy with the recent chaos. Questions still remained unanswered.

.

"What do we have here?" she asked, addressing the officers who were waiting for her arrival.

Mirko surveyed her surroundings carefully while the officers finished securing the scene. The silence in the air was oppressive, broken only by the wail of sirens in the distance. One of the officers approached her, his face still showing traces of unease.

"Heroine Mirko," he began, his tone somewhat hesitant, "the situation here is worse than we had imagined. We still don't know who or what was responsible for this destruction, but it seems Chizaki was involved, at least at some point."

.

Mirko crossed her arms, her gaze scanning every detail around her. "Any clues as to what caused all this? It doesn't seem like the kind of chaos Chizaki could create on his own."

.

The officer shook his head. "We've been searching the area for witnesses or security cameras that might have captured something. Several of the cameras in the vicinity are damaged, but some are still working. My partner is checking them right now."

.

Mirko nodded slightly, her rabbit ears picking up every sound around her. "Keep me posted. This isn't just random destruction. Something big is going on, and I don't like being in the dark."

.

.

Meanwhile, one of the younger officers, who had been reviewing footage from nearby cameras, began to sweat nervously in front of his laptop screen. He had been searching for a clue for a while, reviewing one recording after another without success, when something finally caught his attention. He paused the image and zoomed in on the video.

.

"Chief! Heroine Mirko! I think I've found something."

.

His call caused everyone to rush over. Mirko stepped forward to look at the screen with interest. In the footage, captured by a battered security camera, three individuals could be seen walking among the ruins, not far from where Chizaki's body lay.

.

"What is that?" asked the senior officer, frowning. "A girl? And what the hell is that black thing?"

.

The officer who had reviewed the footage paused before answering. "At first glance, they seem harmless. The girl doesn't look to be more than six or seven years old, and that black thing… it's like a person, but its face is so poorly drawn that it looks like a caricature."

.

Mirko tilted his head, looking more closely. The girl, with her small stature and innocent expression, didn't seem like a threat at all, but the black, misshapen creature beside her was clearly strange. However, what caught his attention most was the third individual.

.

"Wait a minute..." Mirko muttered, pointing at the enormous six-eyed dog. "That's not a normal dog. It has six eyes, and its presence... something doesn't feel right here."

.

The senior officer exchanged glances with his colleagues, all equally baffled.

.

"Could it be an animal with a Quirk?"

.

"But a dog with six eyes… That's too strange, even by our standards."

Mirko rubbed her chin, deep in thought.

.

"I wouldn't rule anything out at this point. That creature seems suspicious. And that dog, though somewhat enormous, might be connected to what happened here."

.

One of the forensic investigators, who had been nearby examining the remains, also approached the group, having overheard part of the conversation. "We can't rule out the possibility that we're dealing with villains or, at the very least, individuals with some kind of dangerous ability. If the dog has a Quirk or special ability, it could have been part of what destroyed this area."

.

"It's possible," Mirko agreed. "If there's any link between them and this scene, we have to find them. We can't risk ignoring an important clue just because they seem harmless."

.

The officer who had found the video nodded. "Agreed. The video shows them near the spot where we found Chizaki's body, which means they probably saw something or are even involved in what happened.

.

Mirko tapped her open palm with her fist, determined. "Then we have no time to waste. Let's track down that group. No matter how harmless they seem, something strange is going on, and I won't let anything slip through our fingers."

.

The officers exchanged nervous glances, aware that they were dealing with something far bigger than they could handle on their own. Still, they knew that with Mirko leading the way, they had a better chance of getting to the bottom of the mystery.

.

"We'll split into groups," ordered the senior officer, resuming his leadership role. "Some will search the surrounding areas while others remain on watch here, in case anything else happens. And make sure to stay in contact at all times. We don't know what we're up against."

.

Mirko smiled confidently, flexing her leg muscles, ready for action. "Alright, leave the hard part to me. If they're in this city, they'll have nowhere to hide."

As the group began to disperse, the officer who had reviewed the footage tucked the handheld device into his belt and prepared to move out with the others.

.

"Heroine Mirko," he said before she left, "it seems the dog has a rather... unusual appearance."

.

Mirko nodded, already sensing that something strange was going on. "Got it. If it shows any suspicious behavior, I'll stop it before it gets out of hand. Let's not underestimate any of them, especially that six-eyed creature."

.

With that final statement, the group scattered, searching the streets and alleys for Eri, Rover, and Black Sperm. The rabbit heroine threw herself back into the fray, tracking down any clue that might lead them to the three individuals who, so far, remained hidden in the shadow of the chaos they had left behind.

Time was running out, and although that trio didn't seem dangerous at first glance, appearances were deceiving, and everyone on the scene knew there was much more at stake than they could imagine.

.

.

After satisfying their hunger with what they found during their escape, Black Sperm, Eri, and Rover began looking for a place to rest. Little Eri, with a full stomach, clung to Rover, who walked beside her, calm and serene.

Black Sperm, for his part, was in a world of his own. As he multiplied, his smaller copies scattered, exploring the surroundings in search of a suitable spot. It didn't take them long to locate a warehouse full of food in a nearby shopping center. A small army of Black Sperms gathered around it, weighing their options. Their many eyes gleamed with anticipation.

.

"This place... is perfect," one of the versions of Black Sperm murmured with satisfaction, flashing a twisted smile. "Not only will we have a place to sleep, but I'll also be able to regenerate my cells and regain more of my power. I'll play it safe this time. I don't want any surprises."

.

"Is this where we're going to sleep?" Eri asked in a soft, somewhat sleepy voice, looking around the dark warehouse as she clung to Rover's fur. The six-eyed dog turned its head toward her with a slight movement, as if responding with a silent nod.

.

"Yes, little one," said one of Black Sperm's copies, watching the girl. "This place is full of food, and it's safe… at least for now."

.

Eri settled down next to Rover in a corner of the warehouse, her eyes narrowing with fatigue. "It's not so bad," she murmured before curling up against Rover's soft fur; with his smaller size and warm body, he was the perfect place for the girl to rest.

.

As Eri fell into a deep sleep, Black Sperm wasted no time. As soon as he made sure she and Rover were safe, his clones began moving swiftly through the warehouse, opening boxes, breaking seals, and devouring everything they could. It was a disturbing sight: hundreds of tiny Black Sperms devouring supplies, like a dark swarm sweeping everything away.

.

"This is perfect," one of them whispered, greedily devouring a package of cookies. "With this, I'll be able to regenerate more cells… regain my true strength. Maybe I'll even be able to reach my full form again."

.

As the darkness of the warehouse filled with the sound of packages being opened and food being devoured, one of the mall's security guards checked the security cameras.

.

It was a quiet night—or so it seemed—until he noticed something strange on one of the screens.

"What the hell is that...?" the guard muttered, squinting to focus on the image. At first, it looked like a simple dog, a little girl, and a... black thing. But as he zoomed in, his eyes widened.

"What is that?!" he exclaimed, watching as the store filled with tiny black creatures devouring everything in their path. It was like a swarm of crazed ants, but much faster and more organized.

.

The guard hesitated for a moment, but immediately grabbed his radio and, his voice trembling, reported the situation to the authorities.

.

.

"This is Guard 22. We have a strange situation at the mall. A group of... I don't know how to describe it... it looks like a girl, a strange dog, and something else. It's not normal. I'm requesting backup right now."

After sending the message, the guard couldn't help but let his curiosity lead him toward the warehouse. Flashlight in hand, he walked cautiously through the dark hallways, slowly approaching the spot where the cameras had detected movement.

Inside the warehouse, Black Sperm continued to devour, his macabre smile growing as he felt his cells begin to multiply even faster. "Yes… more power… more strength," one of them murmured, while his clones devoured ceaselessly.

Suddenly, one of the clones stopped, his senses picking up on something. "Wait," he said in a low voice, halting the feeding frenzy. "Someone's coming."

.

Black Sperm's original clone materialized near Eri and Rover, who remained alert at her side. "Looks like we have company," he said, watching the warehouse entrance. "We can't let our guard down now. If we're discovered, things could get complicated."

.

The sound of footsteps echoed closer and closer. The mall security guard was only a few meters away, illuminating the area with his flashlight.

.

"Hey, you!" the guard shouted as he entered the warehouse, shining his flashlight inside. "Come out right now!"

.

Black Sperm's primary clone watched him from the shadows, assessing the situation. "Tsk… He saw us," he muttered to himself, angry at not having been careful enough. "I'll have to take care of him before he calls for more backup."

.

But before Black Sperm could act, Rover—who had been silent until now—raised his head and growled, baring his sharp teeth. Even at his small size, he was still an intimidating creature. The dog's deep growl echoed throughout the warehouse, causing the guard to freeze in his tracks.

"What the hell…?!" stammered the guard, backing away as he saw the six-eyed dog staring him down. His hand trembled as he tried to raise the flashlight toward his radio. But Rover was already in attack position.

Black Sperm smiled, relishing the moment. "Well, looks like someone isn't going to have a good night..."

.

Before the situation could escalate further, the guard, terrified and with adrenaline coursing through his veins, spoke into his radio. "Backup, I need backup now! I don't know what they are, but... this isn't normal!"

.

Black Sperm tensed at the sound of that. "Damn... this is going to get complicated."

Time was working against him.

"Get rid of him quickly, but without making too much noise," he ordered one of his clones in a low voice while staying close to Eri and Rover. "I don't want to wake the girl, and I don't want us to be discovered yet."

.

While one of his clones slipped through the darkness toward the guard, the others continued to ransack the warehouse, knowing they needed to act fast before things got really difficult.

With the guard getting closer and closer, Black Sperm decided it was time to act quickly and efficiently. As Rover's deep growl continued to fill the warehouse, one of Black Sperm's most agile clones slipped silently through the shadows, like a predator on the prowl. The creature's twisted grin revealed just how much it was enjoying the chaos.

The guard, eyes wide, tried to calm himself as he attempted to make contact over his radio. "I need backup now! There's something here that's not of this world!" he exclaimed, his voice trembling but urgent.

"There, there, calm down," one of Black Sperm's copies whispered into the guard's ear from the darkness. "You don't want to scare anyone else, do you?"

.

The guard jerked his head around, but it was too late. A swarm of tiny copies of Black Sperm emerged from the shadows, crawling over his body like a horde of insects. The guard fell to the ground, his flashlight rolling away as he tried to shake off the creatures coiling around him. His radio fell from his hand, but before he could retrieve it, Black Sperm already had him under control.

"Shh... relax, human," said one of the copies as the guard tried to scream, but his words were muffled by the weight of the tiny creatures covering his mouth. "We're not going to hurt you, not if you cooperate. You just have to close your eyes and pretend you never saw us."

.

The guard, trapped and with no way out, had no choice. He nodded slowly, his eyes filled with panic as Black Sperm's tiny creatures completely immobilized him.

"Good," whispered the original clone, approaching the guard with a satisfied smile. "You know, I could let you go... but I don't want to take any chances. So... you'd better get some sleep."

With a quick blow, one of the clones struck him on the back of the neck, knocking him unconscious. The guard's body fell to the floor with a thud, and Black Sperm's copies dragged him into a corner of the warehouse, hiding him from the view of any potential intruders.

.

"One less to worry about," Black Sperm murmured, satisfied as his clones returned to their tasks. He turned toward Eri, making sure the girl was still asleep next to Rover. The dog, though he had shown signs of aggression toward the guard, was now relaxed again, watching with his many eyes, as if he were aware of what was happening.

"You did well, Rover," said one of Black Sperm's clones, giving the dog a light pat on the head. Rover blinked slowly, as if accepting the compliment, before returning to his peaceful state.

With no further interruptions, Black Sperm decided it was time to get back to what he had come to do. "Time to get to work," he muttered as his copies began moving faster, devouring everything in their path at a frantic pace. Boxes of cookies, cans of food, bags of potato chips… nothing was safe from the swarm that now occupied every corner of the warehouse.

"I need more power," Black Sperm told himself, as he felt his cells regenerate with every bite.

.

.

"I can't afford to be weak in this world. Much less in front of those damn heroes."

The sound of packages tearing and food being devoured filled the warehouse. It was a grotesque spectacle: a black swarm gobbling up every available resource. The tiny Black Sperms chewed with an almost robotic rhythm, a tireless army focused on a single task: restoring the kaijin's strength.

.

Meanwhile, Eri remained fast asleep, oblivious to the chaos around her. Rover stayed alert, yet relaxed, confident that his partner knew what he was doing. His instincts kept him ready for anything, but at that moment, he simply rested, watching Black Sperm with those piercing six eyes.

"It's a nice place, isn't it?" murmured one of the clones, devouring a chocolate bar. "Peaceful, full of food… Who could ask for more?"

.

"Maybe we should stay here for a while," replied another clone, chuckling. "With everything we have here, we could last for weeks without anyone noticing."

.

Black Sperm paused for a moment to think about that. "Maybe, but we can't stay too long. Eventually, they'll find us. And when they do, we need to be ready to move fast."

.

The speed at which they devoured the food increased. In a matter of minutes, they had emptied entire shelves. "More, I need more," growled Black Sperm, feeling his cells multiply rapidly. Every morsel of food gave him more strength, more power. It wasn't enough to reach his full form yet, but he was getting closer and closer.

.

"The stronger we are," he muttered, "the better prepared we'll be when those heroes arrive. And believe me, they will come. They always do."

.

As the feast continued, the tension in the air grew. They knew they couldn't stay hidden much longer, but for now, they were savoring every second of that lull before the real storm hit them.

.

.

Night blanketed the city in a dark shroud, while the lights from the buildings cast long shadows across the empty streets. The night wind whispered among the skyscrapers, but Mirko, the rabbit heroine, pressed on without stopping, with relentless focus. Her legs moved like a blur, propelling her from one building to the next; her powerful leaps sent her soaring over the rooftops with an agility and speed that left those who saw her pass by in awe.

.

The citizens—those still wandering the streets at that hour—could barely react when they saw her. Some raised their phones, trying to capture an image of the heroine in motion, though most couldn't keep up with her speed. "It's Mirko!" someone shouted from below, pointing at her as she leaped forward with absolute focus on her goal.

"Hey, Mirko, good luck!" a young girl shouted, waving her hand in an attempt to catch her attention.

.

Mirko didn't respond, but she smiled to herself as her eyes scanned the streets and rooftops in search of her target. She was used to admiring glances, but tonight her mind was occupied by only one thing: the mission. She knew she would soon come face to face with those responsible for the chaos that had left one of the most wanted criminals dead. Her heart was pounding, not out of fear, but out of excitement for a possible battle.

.

"Come on, come on!" she muttered to herself as she picked up the pace, her muscles tensing more and more with every leap. The city lights shone below her, but all that mattered right now was getting to the mall where the three suspects had been spotted.

.

Her communicator vibrated again in her ear, briefly interrupting her thoughts. With a tap on the earpiece, she answered the call as she landed on the ledge of a building.

"What's going on? Did you find any leads?" she asked impatiently, still on the move.

"To tell you the truth, I think we've found them, Miss Mirko," replied the officer on the other end, his voice tense but clear.

Mirko, already with a growing smile, tilted her head, excited. "Is that so? Well, spit it out quickly," she said, leaping to another building.

"Not long ago, one of our security guards at a shopping mall called for backup."

.

The suspects match the description of the ones we're looking for.

Mirko could almost taste the anticipation. Her legs tensed as she prepared for a longer jump. "Oh! That's fascinating! Looks like today's our lucky day. Send me the coordinates; I'm heading there as fast as I can."

.

"Understood, Heroine Mirko, we'll send you the location right away," the officer replied.

"Excellent…" said Mirko with a low laugh, already imagining the confrontation. Nothing excited her more than the possibility of an unexpected fight. "I hope those guys are entertaining," she thought, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

"Miss Mirko, just one more thing…" The officer's voice sounded again, in a more serious tone.

"Do you have anything else to tell me?" Mirko replied, curious, but without slowing her pace.

"Yes, please be very careful. If they were capable of killing Chizaki, the leader of the Eight Precepts of Death, and with all the destruction they caused… they're no ordinary opponents. If your Quirk was defeated, that means these adversaries are extremely dangerous."

.

Mirko let out a confident laugh, leaping over a massive billboard. "Man, you don't have to worry. I'll be done with this in a flash," she replied, her tone brimming with confidence.

The connection cut off, and Mirko had no more distractions. She sped up even more, her feet barely touching the rooftops as she glided like a bullet between the buildings. The wind whipped her face, but that only spurred her on.

.

.

The lights of the shopping mall finally appeared in the distance.

"There you are," she thought, as her eyes focused on the structure. The place looked quiet from the outside, but Mirko knew that inside were those responsible for the recent carnage.

The tension grew with every step that brought her closer. Despite her confident demeanor, the heroine couldn't ignore the small spark of uncertainty within her. She didn't know exactly who these "peculiar" suspects were or what Quirks they possessed, but there was something about the situation that unsettled her. If they were capable of taking down someone like Chizaki, she had to be careful.

.

She landed on a side street, right in front of the mall's main entrance. The imposing structure loomed before her, mostly dark except for a few lights. Despite the stillness outside, something inside Mirko told her she was about to encounter something completely unexpected.

.

"Well, here we go…" she whispered to herself, clenching her fists as she crept toward the entrance.

For a moment, the city seemed to stand still around her. The distant sound of traffic and the murmurs of people on the street faded away as silence took over. Mirko watched the mall's entrance, waiting for any movement, any sign of what awaited her inside.

She knew that, at any moment, her long-awaited confrontation was about to begin. And though her heart was pounding, her lips curved into a defiant smile.

"I hope you're ready… because I am," he murmured before taking the first step into the unknown.

.

.

Black Sperm finished devouring the last boxes of food in the warehouse, feeling new cells form within his body. The Kaijin smiled with satisfaction, enjoying the sensation of regeneration. He stood still for a few seconds, reveling in his growing power, until he decided to go to sleep. He rose with calm steps and headed toward the place where Eri and Rover were already resting. Carefully, he settled down near them, ready to sleep.

However, just as he was closing his eyes, the roar of a wall being shattered shook the place.

.

.

Debris flew in all directions, dust filled the air, and the sound echoed throughout the mall. Eri woke up with a start, frightened by the noise and her eyes wide with fear. Rover instinctively wrapped his massive body around her, growling softly to calm her down.

.

"R-Rover… What's happening?" Eri asked, clinging tightly to him.

Rover gave her a gentle lick on the face, trying to reassure her. Black Sperm stood up, annoyed, and looked toward the site of the destruction. The dust that had blanketed the area began to clear, revealing the silhouette of a woman at the shattered entrance.

.

.

"Who the hell…?" Black Sperm muttered, narrowing his eyes.

From the other side, Mirko's loud voice echoed through the thick dust.

.

"So you're the ones responsible for all this mess, huh?!" he said in an authoritative tone, though inside he was itching for a fight. "Come out of there! You're under arrest for breaking into this place, trespassing on restricted property, and, of course, for your involvement in Chizaki's death."

.

The dust finally cleared, and Mirko came into full view. His eyes were fixed on the trio. Eri, frightened, clung tighter to Rover, hiding her face in the monster's fur. Rover let out a threatening growl, while Black Sperm remained unmoved. He was completely uninterested in what the heroine was saying.

.

.

"Under arrest?" asked Black Sperm, with his usual nonchalant attitude. "I don't know what you're talking about, but I don't care. I'm not going anywhere."

Mirko, with his typical confidence, smiled.

.

"Don't make this any harder than it already is. I know you were involved in the destruction we saw, and in what you did to Chizaki."

.

"Besides, this dog doesn't look normal at all," he said, staring intently at Rover. "So, how about you come with me willingly?"

.

Eri, who had been watching everything in silence, felt a surge of hatred.

.

.

Mirko's words reminded her, in a way, of the words Chizaki used to say to her when she was confined in that dark room, which had kept her prisoner for so long. Now, this hero wanted to take away the only people who had protected her. She hated them. She didn't trust them. She just wanted to stay with Black Sperm and Rover, the only ones who had treated her well.

.

.

"No…" she murmured, her voice trembling.

Black Sperm raised an eyebrow.

"What did you say, brat?" he asked, not quite understanding.

.

.

"No… We won't go with her," Eri said more firmly, hugging Rover tighter. "I don't trust heroes… I just want to be with you guys."

Mirko raised an eyebrow, surprised by the girl's reaction.

.

"Look, little girl," she said, trying to soften her tone a little, "I'm not here to hurt you. I just want you to cooperate, okay?"

.

Eri shook her head, clinging even tighter to Rover, who let out a louder growl this time, making it clear he wasn't going to let anyone take the girl away.

.

Black Sperm crossed his arms, a smug smile on his face.

.

"Looks like you won't be getting your way this time, bunny.

She's made her choice.

.

Mirko clenched his fists, sensing the situation escalating. The tension in the air was palpable, and though his fighting instinct was igniting, he knew it wouldn't be an easy battle. Rover and Black Sperm were no ordinary opponents, and with the girl involved, the situation was becoming even more complicated.

.

.

"If you keep up that attitude," she said with a defiant smile, "I'll be forced to teach you a lesson the hard way. Let's see just how tough you really are."

.

Black Sperm let out a low laugh, while Rover growled more intensely, ready to defend his new "family."

.

.

The battle between Rover and Mirko began with such a tense atmosphere that it seemed as though the air itself was trembling with anticipation. Black Sperm, with a mischievous smile on his face, ordered in an authoritative tone:

.

"Rover, take care of her. Don't hold back… make her feel true terror."

.

The huge dog gently moved away from Eri, licking her face in an affectionate gesture, as if to reassure her that everything would be all right. Eri, who now saw Rover and Black Sperm as her new family, smiled softly and stroked his head.

.

"I know you can do it, Rover," Eri murmured, without taking her eyes off the imposing dog.

.

Mirko, who was watching the scene, couldn't help but frown. She was bothered by the calmness with which Rover was stepping away, as if he were underestimating her.

.

"Do you really think a giant dog is going to stop me?" Mirko said, her rabbit ears trembling slightly with growing fury.

.

.

However, her irritation soon turned to surprise. Rover began to grow, his muscles and bones expanding to a colossal size, much larger than Mirko had imagined. The ground beneath his claws began to crack, the concrete giving way under his enormous weight, while his eyes glowed with a primal and terrifying power.

Mirko, who until that moment had been confident in her ability, felt a chill run down her spine. Something about the way Rover was growing warned her that this was not simply an animal with a Quirk, but something far more dangerous.

.

"What the hell are you…?" she whispered, her fists clenched. For the first time in a long while, the rabbit heroine felt a twinge of doubt.

Black Sperm, who was watching the scene from a distance, let out a laugh.

"What's the matter, bunny? Are you scared? Rover isn't just an ordinary animal. He's a former executive of the Monster Association and a Dragon-level threat. Destroying entire cities is child's play to him."

.

Rover, now fully transformed into his largest form, let out a growl that echoed throughout the mall. The monster, whose body had reached monstrous proportions, advanced slowly toward Mirko; each step made the building shake, his multiple eyes focused on her as if she were mere prey.

.

Mirko assumed a fighting stance, ready to launch her attack. She couldn't afford to hesitate. No matter how big or terrifying the enemy was, she was a heroine and was used to fighting any threat.

"I don't care how big you are! I'll tear you to pieces!" she shouted, leaping toward Rover with astonishing speed.

Her leg, loaded with all her strength, slammed straight into Rover's side. The impact was brutal; the shockwave from the blow reverberated throughout the mall, but something wasn't right. Rover didn't even flinch.

.

"What…?" Mirko stepped back, incredulous, seeing that her blow had had no effect whatsoever.

Rover, with a deep growl, swung one of his gigantic paws at Mirko. The heroine barely had time to react, dodging the blow by millimeters. The dog's claw struck the ground where she had been a moment before, shattering the concrete as if it were paper. Debris flew in all directions.

"Damn it!" Mirko exclaimed as she rolled across the floor, quickly getting back to her feet. Her fighting instincts kept her alert, but her eyes couldn't help but focus on the gigantic monster in front of her.

Rover didn't stop. Every time Mirko tried to get closer, Rover attacked her with a force that seemed unstoppable. One of his growls made the mall's windows rattle, and with a simple flick of his tail, he destroyed one of the building's walls. Mirko leaped out of the building just in time, landing on the street.

"What the hell…? This isn't like fighting a human," she muttered, watching as Rover slowly advanced toward her, crushing everything in his path. The building behind him was beginning to collapse from the damage he had caused.

Despite her pride, Mirko was beginning to realize that this fight was different. This creature wasn't just a strong opponent; it was a force of nature, a monster whose power surpassed anything she had faced before. The hardest blows she had ever thrown were nothing to Rover.

.

Rover let out another roar, one that echoed through the empty streets. Mirko, with his keen perception, noticed how the windows of nearby buildings shattered at the mere sound of his voice. The air around him was thick with dust and debris, but also with a dark, overwhelming energy.

"Damn dog!" Mirko shouted, lunging at Rover once more. She leaped with incredible speed, unleashing a series of rapid, precise kicks toward his face.

The blows landed with force, but Rover barely flinched. The monster simply raised one of its paws and swung it at Mirko. This time, the heroine couldn't completely dodge the attack. Rover's paw struck her, sending her flying several meters backward until she crashed into a parked car. The vehicle burst into flames upon impact, while Mirko struggled to her feet, breathing heavily.

"It can't be… What kind of monster are you…?" Mirko wiped the blood from her mouth; her body was beginning to feel the effects of the blows. Despite her efforts, she wasn't gaining even the slightest advantage.

Rover stared at her, and though he couldn't speak, his presence was intimidating. It seemed as if he were toying with her, as if he knew her efforts were futile.

.

"Come on, Rover! Show your true power!" Eri shouted from a distance, a determined look in her eyes. She wasn't the same frightened girl from before. Now she had complete confidence in her new "family."

.

Mirko, upon hearing Eri's voice, felt a weight on his heart. That girl, who had once been a victim of villains, was now supporting monsters. Everything she stood for as a heroine was being challenged in that moment.

.

But before she could think any further, Rover attacked again. This time, his massive body lunged toward her with surprising speed for his size. Mirko tried to dodge him, but Rover caught up to her, smashing her into the ground. The impact was devastating, cracking the asphalt and shaking the surrounding area.

.

"Damn it…" Mirko muttered, coughing up blood as she tried to free herself from Rover's monstrous weight. But it was useless. Her blows, no matter how hard they were, didn't have the same impact. Nothing she did seemed to affect him.

.

Mirko's confidence was crumbling. Every blow, every move, was useless against this colossal beast. In his mind, he recalled Black Sperm's words: "Rover, a Dragon-level threat."

.

Mirko, trapped beneath Rover's immense weight, felt the pain pulsing through her entire body. It was as if the earth itself were crushing her. Her muscles, always tense and ready for any battle, now screamed for relief. But the rabbit heroine was not one to give up, especially not in the face of a threat like this.

.

"No… I'm not going down here…" she muttered through clenched teeth, as her legs prepared to launch the most powerful attack she had.

.

With a ferocious roar, Mirko launched a powerful kick at Rover's jaw. The impact was enough to distract the monster for a moment; it let out an annoyed growl and took a step back. Taking advantage of that brief respite, Mirko rolled across the ground, freeing himself, and leaped toward the sky with all the energy he had left. Adrenaline fueled him, and his mind was focused on one thing only: survival.

.

Mirko landed on the roof of a nearby building, panting, her body tense, but refusing to let exhaustion get the better of her.

"What the hell is this dog? No matter how strong he is, I won't fall!" she told herself as she assessed the situation.

Rover, realizing that his prey had fled into the sky, raised his head with a roar so powerful it made the ground shake once more. The nearby buildings began to collapse under the pressure of his size, and the monstrous dog began to move with determination toward Mirko. His gait was slow but unstoppable; every step he took destroyed the streets beneath his gigantic paws.

.

Giving her no time to rest, Rover opened his enormous mouth, and suddenly a powerful fireball erupted from his jaws, incinerating everything in its path. The heat was scorching, and the night sky lit up with the glow of the attack. Mirko, from the rooftop, barely managed to dodge the first explosion, leaping from one building to another as the fire devoured everything behind her.

.

"You're crazy!" Mirko shouted, as the heat of the fire brushed against her.

.

Chaos erupted in the streets. Rover, continuing to unleash fireballs, pursued Mirko closely, destroying everything in its path. Buildings were ablaze, sidewalks were shattered, and the sound of cracking concrete filled the air. As the destruction spread, the city, which had been quiet, was now a burning battlefield.

.

"I can't keep dodging forever!" Mirko thought, as he leaped from one building to another. His feet brushed against the rubble, and sweat covered his face.

In a swift move, Mirko changed tactics. Using his incredible agility, he leaped toward the base of a tall building, putting some distance between himself and Rover for a few seconds. But instead of continuing upward, he quickly descended toward a nearby industrial zone. It was an old, abandoned factory, filled with rusted machinery and metal containers. The change of scenery was sudden, but Rover, relentlessly pursuing him, wasn't far behind.

The monster entered the factory, crushing the metal walls as if they were made of cardboard. The sound of metal creaking echoed as the structure began to collapse.

.

"All right, little dog… now this is a more interesting battlefield," said Mirko with a defiant smile, as he hid among the containers and machinery. The shadows of the factory gave him a slight advantage.

Without wasting any time, Mirko leaped from a tall crane and landed on Rover's back. He used his speed and strength to unleash a series of ferocious kicks directly at the monster's head. Blow after blow, his legs moving like bullets, he tried to inflict as much damage as possible.

.

But Rover, even with those powerful attacks, showed hardly any signs of weakness. With a simple shift of his body, he shook Mirko off his back and hurled her into a nearby container, causing the metal to bend from the impact.

"Ugh!" Mirko groaned as she felt the blow. Blood began to trickle from her lips.

Rover, seizing the advantage, opened his mouth and fired a new burst of fireballs, this time at point-blank range. The explosion was so powerful that the entire factory shook. The flames consumed everything.

However, amid the fire and chaos, Mirko leaped from the shadows, narrowly avoiding the lethal attack. The heroine, now with her clothes torn and her body covered in cuts and burns, landed near one of the factory's massive machines, gasping for breath.

"Come on! There has to be a way!" she shouted, her voice full of frustration. Mirko knew Rover was much stronger than she had imagined, but she couldn't give up. Not while she still had a breath left in her body.

.

.

Rover slowly turned toward her, its gigantic form emerging from the flames like a living nightmare. The monster's many eyes stared at her with an intensity that seemed to pierce her soul.

"You're running out of options, bunny," Black Sperm's voice echoed from the distance; though he wasn't present in the chaos of the factory, his presence was felt with every word. "Rover is unstoppable! Give up now!"

But Mirko wasn't the type to give up.

"Never!" she shouted, lunging toward Rover once more.

.

This time, her legs seemed to fly as she executed a series of impressive jumps and acrobatics. She dodged Rover's attacks by millimeters, using the industrial machines as springboards to launch herself at the beast from every possible angle. Mirko's kicks landed again and again, but the monster still wouldn't give in.

Finally, Rover swung a blow with his paw that, though it didn't strike Mirko directly, created a shockwave that hurled her out of the factory. The heroine flew through the glass windows, landing violently on a nearby empty highway. The abandoned cars creaked under her weight, and the asphalt cracked from the impact.

.

.

Mirko, her body pushed to the limit, staggered to her feet. Her legs were shaking, but her gaze remained defiant. Rover's roar echoed as the beast emerged from the burning factory, its heavy footsteps reverberating through the night.

"This dog… is unstoppable…" Mirko muttered, his legs trembling.

Even so, with his body shattered and chaos all around him, Mirko clenched his fists.

"I'm not done… I can still fight!" she shouted with all the strength she had left.

Rover, indifferent to his words, charged at her once more.

.

.

The battle, which had begun with Mirko facing Rover with determination, now found her at her worst. The rabbit heroine, who had initially shown her courage and strength, lay on the ground, her body battered by the impacts and the scorching heat of Rover's fireballs. She could barely breathe; every breath hurt, and her vision was beginning to blur. The pride she had felt at the start of the fight was crumbling, replaced by a growing fear.

.

.

"No… it can't be…" she whispered, with the strength she had left. She had never been defeated like this, much less humiliated.

Rover, for his part, watched her with the same indifference with which a predator examines its dying prey. His eyes glowed in the light of the burning debris, and his heavy breathing echoed in the silence that followed the chaos. The monster advanced slowly toward her, its footsteps cracking the ground even further, and Mirko, forcing herself to move, tried to crawl with what little strength she had left, but it was useless. There was no escape.

.

"This… damn… dog…" she moaned between gasps, her voice full of pain and despair.

.

.

Suddenly, Rover opened his gigantic mouth once more, and Mirko saw him concentrate a ball of energy in his jaws. The air grew heavy, charged with electricity and heat, as that sphere of power slowly formed. Mirko, his heart racing, knew that this attack would be the end. His body was at its limit, every muscle aching, and there was nothing left to do.

"Am I going to die here…?" she thought. It was a horrible feeling—not death itself, but the fact that she was being defeated so completely, with no chance of victory. She had never felt such fear before.

"Come on, bunny! Get up!" she shouted at herself in her mind, but her body wouldn't respond. She was on the verge of collapse.

The energy ball grew to a monstrous size, illuminating everything around it, and Rover, without a hint of emotion, launched the attack directly at her.

.

At that moment, adrenaline was the only thing that drove her to move. Mirko, using her last ounce of strength, threw her body to the side in a desperate attempt to dodge the energy ball.

.

.

The attack grazed her, and though she managed to avoid a direct hit, some of the energy struck her, engulfing her body in searing flames. The pain was immediate and excruciating. Her skin burned, and the smell of scorched flesh filled the air as she screamed in agony. The flames devoured her, and when they finally died down, Mirko lay on the ground, her body completely shattered.

Her eyes, still open, stared at the smoke-filled sky. She could barely move; her breathing was a dull echo in her ears, and her thoughts were in chaos. She couldn't believe it—she had been defeated in such a brutal way. And, for the first time in a long time, she felt that death was near.

.

.

Rover watched her from a distance. The monster took a couple more steps closer, and its many eyes scanned Mirko's shattered body. To it, she was no longer a threat, not even prey worthy of its time. With a low growl, Rover slowly turned away, losing interest in the rabbit heroine. For the monster, the battle was over. Mirko was now nothing more than a broken, worthless object.

.

.

As Rover walked away, silence once again reigned over the scene, broken only by Mirko's soft moans of pain. She tried to move, but her body wouldn't respond. Every inch of her skin was burned, her clothes in tatters, and the pain was so overwhelming she couldn't even scream.

.

.

"No… I can't… die here…" she whispered weakly, tears welling up in her eyes from helplessness. Fear consumed her now, more than ever.

Her eyes, filled with terror, watched Rover as he walked away, leaving only destruction in his wake. Mirko knew that if she stayed there, she would die. But her body wouldn't respond, and the fear of death grew with every passing second. She had never imagined ending up like this: humiliated, defeated, and abandoned as if she were worthless. She felt her confidence crumbling, crushed by the reality of facing such a powerful and destructive creature.

.

"Is this… the end…?" she thought, as her vision began to fade.

Rover, without turning back even once, continued walking away, leaving the heroine to her fate. To him, she was nothing more than an obstacle overcome, a shadow on his path to destruction.

.

The chaos he had left behind was her only sign that the battle had taken place.
