The sky was overcast.Seoul's gray heavens hung heavily over the city, like a warning of impending rain.Omer Jin-Hoo walked slowly toward the rusty iron gate of his old school, his long black coat collar raised. Each step splashed water lightly on the wet asphalt beneath his feet. This school…
It was once the place where his youth had passed, where laughter echoed, and friendships were forged. But now… the walls were spray-painted with gang signs, windows shattered, and lurking shadows watched from the corners.Omer's eyes were narrowed, his steps determined. He hadn't come here for fun.The Schoolyard As he stepped inside the iron gate, he saw a group of students and young men gathered in a semicircle. Black and white bandanas tied around their heads, metal earrings in their ears They were the remaining members of the Dalton gang.
In the center stood Ha-Joon. A boy Omer had clashed with several times back in high school, the gang's deputy leader now grown and more dangerous, holding a silver-handled cane confidently.Ha-Joon smiled and spoke:"You know, Jin-Hoo… my brother will never forgive you. You humiliated him. And now you come back, standing against us. Is that courage or just stupidity?"
A cold expression crossed Omer's face.
"Your brother still can't talk, right? Ever since his jaw was broken."Light laughter echoed around, but Ha-Joon's smile froze like ice. He slammed his cane hard against the ground.
The Circle Closes The Daltons slowly surrounded him. Some held chains, others knives two were holding pitbulls on leashes.
Omer knew he was outnumbered, but there was no sign of fear on his face.At that moment, his phone rang."Brother" was displayed on the screen.
"Oppa… there are men in suits outside the house… I'm really scared… one
The call cut off before the sentence ended.
Omer's gaze hardened instantly.
He slowly turned his head toward Ha-Joon.
"Is this your doing?"
Ha-Joon shrugged. "I don't know… maybe your brother is right. Family is the weakest point." That was the last straw.Suddenly, Omer lunged forward. With his right hand, he grabbed Ha-Joon's collar and slammed him hard onto the ground. The sound of Ha-Joon's back hitting the concrete echoed sharply. The crowd attacked at once.
A chain flew quickly toward Omer's head; he caught it by the wrist, pulled its owner toward him, and elbowed him in the jaw.A pitbull lunged at him; Omer dodged just in time and knocked down the dog's owner. Each strike brought another attack.Omer's breath quickened, but his eyes remained calm. Fighting was in his nature.Just as he gained the upper hand, someone sneaked up behind and stabbed a knife into his back. The sharp pain spread along his spine.Omer gritted his teeth and turned, breaking the attacker's wrist.Blood trickled down his back as he grabbed Ha-Joon again. He took the cane from him and threw it to the ground.
"Where's my family?!"Ha-Joon, out of breath and trembling, stammered: "Yangcheon… Yangcheon-gu…"Omer let him fall.
In his eyes, there was only one goal now.
And that goal lay in one of the most dangerous places in the city.Ha-Joon's dark revelation echoed in Ömer's mind: Yangcheon-gu. His family was there, but he didn't know their condition. Without wasting time, he had to go there. After stepping outside, he checked his phone again. At that moment, it rang, and Ae-Cha's name flashed on the screen. He hurriedly answered.
"I have something urgent to tell you," Ae-Cha said, her voice filled with concern.
"I'm dealing with something important right now. I'll talk later, I promise," Ömer replied. Ae-Cha insisted, "Please promise, Ömer."
Softening, Ömer said, "I promise," and ended the call.Throughout the journey, his heart pounded with countless thoughts. His brother's voice echoed in his ears, and Ae-Cha's warning kept spinning in his mind. But his priority was his family.Upon arriving in Yangcheon-gu, foggy and misty streets greeted him. Everything seemed calm for a moment; yet Omer knew danger was lurking at every corner.Suddenly, as he walked through a narrow alley, a figure appeared before him. This person bore a mark Omer had never seen before(Guardian of Aldwulf Dungeon) was written on it. Their eyes met, and Ömer flinched. Who was this person, and why were they here? Then, a system interface appeared in his mind, clear and cold:
(Mission: Defeat the Guardian of Aldwulf Dungeon.)
Ömer's heart raced. "What does this mean?" he wondered. After a few seconds of shock, he calmed down and muttered to himself, "Alright… Then I'll play by the rules of the game."The man turned his back, and Ömer's eyes lit up: Tae-Hyun — the true leader of the Daltons.
"You made it this far, congratulations Omer," Tae-Hyun said coldly and mockingly.
Without hesitation, Omer replied firmly, "Tell me where my family is, or I'll erase you from the face of the earth!"Tae-Hyun smiled, "First, I'll avenge my brother, then I'll destroy you, your lineage, and your friends. Come on, let's see who's stronger, OMER JIN-HOO!!!
The two men took off their coats and assumed fighting stances. Fists flew rapidly through the air. The impact of their punches sent the surrounding gang members flying, and the place shook. As the fight spilled outside, Omer drew his Twin Moon Daggers and counterattacked. However, Tae-Hyun was too fast and gained the upper hand. His punches were hard and swift, hitting Ömer repeatedly. The place was almost demolished.Using his wit, Ömer tried to leverage his speed and find Tae-Hyun's weak point. He landed a strong blow but it wasn't enough. He realized Tae-Hyun's power was Level A a strength he had never faced before.
Catching his breath, Ömer gathered his remaining strength and launched a deadly attack, hitting Tae-Hyun's nerves. Punches followed in quick succession. Ömer Jin-Hoo had defeated Tae-Hyun but was gravely wounded. Breathing heavily, he collapsed to the ground. Even then, the faces of his family, brother, and friends kept swirling in his mind. But silence quickly fell over the scene.
Tae-Hyun opened his eyes slowly as he crawled on the ground and stood up.
"I see you're strong, Ömer," he said with a hoarse voice. "But this is just the beginning… Time to show my true power."
Suddenly, an incredible transformation took place in Tae-Hyun's body. His hair turned pure white, grew longer, and began to glow. His teeth sharpened, and his breath turned into a cold mist. Energy gathered in his hands; his fingers grew like a monster's claws. Tae-Hyun revealed his true form: terrifying, wild, and deadly.
"This is my Level A… my true power!" he shouted.
Omer was tired but undeterred. Yet Tae-Hyun began tearing him apart. The system interface appeared again with serious warnings:
WARNING: Your Health is below 50%
WARNING: Your Health is below 30%
WARNING: Your Health is below 15%
WARNING: Your Health is below 10%. Further damage may be fatal!
But the burning determination inside Omer suppressed his fear. His brother's voice echoed once more in his mind, a memory resurfacing:
"Oppa,please don't get hurt… Mom is worried."
At that moment, Omer clenched his bloodied hand and gripped the Blood Fiend Dagger. His eyes darkened, filled with fury and love, locking onto Tae-Hyun. "I'll finish this now!" he declared. He moved swiftly and struck Tae-Hyun with deadly blows one after another. Covered in blood and sweat, despite exhaustion, he didn't stop. His rage transformed into a "Rage" state; the power surrounding his body increased. With each strike, Tae-Hyun's strength weakened, almost breaking apart. At that moment, the faces of Jung Woo, his brother, mother and Ae-Cha's words appeared before his eyes. He recalled the promises he made to his family and friends. With their power, he made a final move.Tae-Hyun collapsed, defeated.
Ömer stood, breathless but determined. He had achieved victory, but the fight was not over yet.
The system interface appeared:
