Even just getting the skill doubled my reading speed instantly and when you add extraction to that I was going to be learning at an obscene rate. The appearance of the skill now made me stop for the first time and seriously consider if I could obtain other skills if I were to put in the effort and if so what was the limit here? Like obviously there had to be limits of some sort but what those were I didn't know. I was curious if the practice I was doing with my magic might lead to a skill in that case. -
Being able to use magic was counted as an ability but what I was doing was refining how I did it which in theory should fall under the skill category. The best metaphor I could think of here was that abilities were the roots and trunk of a tree and skills were branches of that tree. I needed to reach the eventual conclusion of my training to discover if this was true first though. That also reminded me that I should be contacting Whitebeard again to trade over that elixir I bought for him.-
I already knew what I wanted to ask for in exchange and hoped the system would make it possible. With that in mind I spent the last fifty system coins I had to pull up the connection to Whitebeard. My surroundings greyed out as the screen appeared and after a few moments the other end connected and Whitebeard showed up. Unlike last time he was perfectly healthy this time with a new set of scars where he had been wounded previously.-
"I'll never get over how ridiculously fast people in your world heal. That kind of wounds would take months to recover from here and years after that to stop bothering us if ever." I said honestly.
"Gurarara! Don't act like you don't have magic brat." he said with a laugh.
"Pot and kettle I get it. Anyways I've got a few reasons why I've contacted you this time. The first is I was hoping to test some ideas I had out with you. The second was that I've got something that I think is worth your while. Even worth what I was hoping to test, at least for you." I said taking out the elixir.
"You've got me interested brat. What do you have in mind?" Whitebeard asked leaning forward slightly.
"First allow me to introduce to you an elixir of youth. This little number will give you the physical health you had when you were twenty. You won't gain a longer than natural lifespan or deage or anything but just returning your bodies health to your peak would allow you to shield your family for longer and that's worth anything right?" I said with a grin.
Whitebeards eyes narrow as he looks at the swirling silver vial as his mind no doubt races at the introduction.
"Something like that must be expensive right?" he asked seriously.
"It's a matter of perspective really. For you in your world something like this would go for a massive fortune. Here it costs far far less though definitely not something just anyone can buy normally. It's a product of magic after all which is common enough here but nearly nonexistent there." I explained honestly.
"Gurarara! I get it! This is why you are so confident you will excel as a businessman right?" he asked with a laugh and an approving look.
"More or less. Being able to take things from one world and trade them to another means I will stand to profit massively almost always as some things simply can't be obtained in any other way. Enough about that though. The things I want to trade for this elixir is haki and the knowledge how to use it as well as your physique, a copy of it at least. Also toss in some weapons as well, those should be good for my shop." I said seriously.
"I can try and teach you Haki but I don't see how I can give you my body. The weapons are easy enough though, got a couple named blades rattling about my treasure hold." he said with a confused expression.
"Try and think about making the trade as you interact with the system. If my idea works I should be able to get all of it." I say seriously.
From my end I push the elixir towards the screen while thinking about what I wanted.

'Bingo!' I thought with a grin as I accepted the trade.
Three shining stones appeared in my inventory along with three weapons, two swords and a whip. Meanwhile on Whitebeards side a vial with swirling silver liquid in it appeared in his hand while an astonished look came over his features.
"Gurarara! Now that's quite something! Felt kind weird though like someone was running fingers through me." he said with a laugh as he found it amusing once the surprise wore off.
"Why don't you give that elixir a chug? I admit that I am curious to see how it will change you." I admitted freely while I couldn't help but smile in joy.
The old pirate seemed to think about it for a moment before carefully pulling out the sealed cap and dumping the elixir like syrup down his gullet. At first nothing seemed to happen but then steam began to rise from Whitebeards body and I saw him sit up straighter than normal and sigh as if some great weight had been taken off of him.
"Gurarara! I haven't felt this good in years and all those aches in my body are gone! Brat that was some good stuff!" he said with a loud bout of laughter and massive smile.
