The call remained connected, neither of them bothering to end it, as Raven firmly demanded that her money be paid back and a thin layer of silence settled between their breaths.
A momentary silence prevailed on the line, but Zyric finally broke the silence.
"Alright, fine, I get it. I'll return your money," Zyric says to Raven.
"Hmm," Raven simply sighs over the phone.
"By the way, thank you for everything... I mean, for everything you did. Thank you so much," Zyric adds, and before he even realizes it, Raven hangs up on her end of the call.
Right then, Velociraptor comes close to Zyric's ears. "Friend, things won't work out like this," Velociraptor says to him.
"I'm not trying to 'make things work.' And what are you guys even doing here? Let's get out of this room. And yeah, wait a minute, I don't know much about increasing strength, but if we want to increase strength, you should have a beast that is more powerful than you, then our strength can increase. Velociraptor, your level is Fuzan Vault Classic Level Four. And mine is Classic Level Two, so according to that, our strength can increase. But how, I don't know that method," Zyric tells Velociraptor.
Then, Zyric suddenly remembers something important. "Right, I will call him," he says, and picks up the phone and dials.
"Hello, Principal William? Can you tell me how we can increase our Fuzan Vault's level?" Zyric asks immediately after calling Principal William.
Principal William starts laughing upon hearing this. "Ah, so that's the thing! You want to increase your strength now? Alright then."
"Your level is probably One or Two right now," he continues. "But look, if you have a beast whose level is Three or Four, you can actually extract its Fuzan Vault liquid. You just need a Fuzan Vault injection."
He takes a moment to allow this to sink in before he elaborates the process. "You just need to extract that liquid and inject it into your own Fuzan Vault. It'll give you a massive boost. Since you're using liquid from a beast that is more powerful than you, that high-level energy will force your own Fuzan Vault, and your physical strength, to level up along with it."
"Think of it like this," William clarifies further. "Suppose you have a Classic Level Four beast and you're only at Level Two. You can keep using your beast's power to grow until you hit Level Four yourself. At that point, you'll be on the same level as your beast. If you want to go higher, you'll have to make your beast stronger too by sharing your own liquid with them. It works both ways—if you're stronger, you can boost your weaker beasts."
Finally, he adds a word of caution. "And Zyric? Don't waste your time fighting or killing weak beasts. There is no point in doing that at all. You must, in order to be really powerful, hunt beasts more potent than you are. Only by defeating those beasts can you claim their high-level Fuzan Vault liquid. And after injecting that liquid into your Fuzan Vault, you can increase your strength. That's the deal," Principal William explains to Zyric.
"A Fuzan Vault liquid injection... yeah, okay, I get it," Zyric says, and after hanging up, he immediately starts searching for a Fuzan Vault liquid injection on the internet. After a long and careful search, Zyric finally finds the injection, and it turns out that an identical one was kept in Diana's room. Zyric takes one out and slowly approaches Velociraptor.
"No, no! It'll hurt!" Velociraptor says, backing away in fear, and necessarily panicking.
"Hey, it doesn't hurt. It clearly says here that it won't hurt any beast. The beast won't even feel a single thing when it enters their body," Zyric says, trying his best to reassure him.
"But it looks exactly like a needle! That means it'll hurt, right? It'll prick! And it'll hurt even more in the Fuzan Vault!" Velociraptor says, still completely terrified.
"Nothing to worry, I will be the only one that will feel the pain since the Fuzan Vaults of human beings are extremely sensitive, just like their heart. In a sense, therefore, I must suffer the pain, not you. And I have to take it, because I want to be the powerful one, right? You will not have to feel any pain. Tell me, where is your Fuzan Vault?" Zyric asks with a small smile on his face.
Note: When a beast generates a Fuzan Vault, it can generate in any part of its body, from the neck to the nose, on the stomach, or even in the tail.
This is why Zyric asks where it is located.
"Okay, okay... it's near my neck," Velociraptor says, gesturing nervously toward his throat. Zyric carefully inserts the Fuzan Vault injection there. Velociraptor has his eyes firmly shut. He then noices something strange, the Fuzan Vault liquid being pumped out, but not causing him a bit of pain. Before he even realizes what is happening, Zyric extracts the Fuzan Vault liquid and starts observing it very closely and carefully.
"Let's go to my room," Zyric says to the Fat Insect and Velociraptor. Once they are inside the room, Velociraptor asks nervously, "Zyric, are you ready?"
Zyric steadied the injection and slowly moved it closer to his Fuzan Vault.
