Everyone was staring at Zyric at this moment.
Zyric already had his hands over his ears, his eyes shut, and his head downed, so that he did not have to hear all the taunts of the people.
Carl told his Icy Fox, which he named Foxy, to go near Zyric and everyone stared at Zyric as they waited to see how he was going to react.
Many people even took out their phones to record a video of Zyric's funny reaction so that later the whole city could laugh at him.
Unaware of all this, Zyric kept his eyes shut, just waiting for the line to end so he could meet Dr. Hazel.
Meanwhile, Foxy came and sat down by Zyric's legs and hung its tail around them, which made his legs feel extremely cold and numb.
Zyric opened his eyes and saw a fox that was growling and glaring at him.
"No, what is this?" Saying this much, Zyric quickly falls backward and immediately starts scooting away.
Everyone starts laughing very loudly seeing all this.
"Look at this guy. This is the one who came here to become a Monster Tamer two years ago. Poor fellow, look how his hands are trembling. Hey, boy, to become a Monster Tamer, you shouldn't be afraid of beasts. You should know how to face them head-on, understood?" After saying this much, everyone starts laughing loudly at Zyric.
The fox was slowly moving towards Zyric, intimidating him and getting closer and closer. Zyric kept dragging himself backward, falling and retreating.
Then Zyric caught a glimpse of a man, named Carl, appearing before him and standing before him.
"I've heard a lot about you. By the way, back then I was in the Junior Section when I got to know about a student like you. Now I'm in the Seniors and finally I have got the chance to meet you. So, you came here to meet Dr. Hazel? And to meet Dr. Hazel, you said she knows you? Do you even know how renowned a doctor she is? Will she know you? Anyway, you guys are recording this, right?"
When someone answered yes, he laughed along with everyone else.
"Foxy, teach him a lesson. Make sure he remembers his place so that he never even thinks of entering the Monster Tamer school again. At least remind him of his limits."As soon as Carl says this, the fox starts running fast toward Zyric.
Zyric kept dragging himself backward on the floor. Before the fox can attack him, something odd appears to come out of Zyrics shirt, and hits the fox on the head in a flash. When it hit the head of the fox the fox howled and was struck back, holding its head which now started a nickle of blood. It appeared as if some insect had bitten it.
"Hey, what is this? He did something to my Foxy!" Saying this much, Carl tries to step on the insect. The insect runs on, turning around and avoiding the attacks of everyone. All those were trying to trample it with their feet, but all in vain. The insect was as hard as a stone, and perhaps it could bite too. Zyric too was unaware of this until now because blood was coming out of the fox's head.
Suddenly, one of the people puts a foot on the Fat Insect and starts crushing it hard. The Fat Insect was not hard underneath, and it was already injured from before. Therefore, Zyric could see a little blood coming out of its mouth.
"No! No! Don't kill it!" Zyric cried, rushing toward the insect. The insect turned and looked at Zyric. But before Zyric could reach it, Carl grabbed him from behind. Zyric had managed to get to the boy's legs and was clinging to them, trying to save the Fat Insect.
"Hey, because of your filthy insect my Foxy had to suffer so much pain. No, no, not this easily... kill it," Carl said to the boy.
The boy then put all his strength into grinding the Fat Insect under his foot, and even more blood gushed from the insect's mouth. The Fat Insect could see how terrified Zyric was and how desperately he was trying to save it.
The next moment, the Fat Insect turns its mouth toward the ground and starts drilling into the ground like a drilling machine. It quickly enters the ground. The person who was grinding the Fat Insect with his foot, in the next moment, a strange hole forms near his foot, his leg goes into it, and blood also starts coming out of his leg.
"Ah, what is this?" After saying this much, when the boy pulls out his leg, a lot of blood was coming out of it.
"Hey, what... what just happened? Quickly call Dr. Hazel!" many people shout. Dr. Hazel herself did not come, but the other doctors present rushed over and took the boy away for treatment. Everyone was now extremely panicked and afraid. Then they all glared at Zyric in anger.
"You bastard!" Saying this much, Carl quickly goes to Zyric, grabs his collar, lifts him up, and throws him backward. "Now, that strange insect won't come to save you either. It got so injured, so who will save you from us?" Carl asks Zyric, and Zyric keeps scooting backward.
Zyric kept scooting backward, his hands trembling and his breath uneven. His back bumped into something..., no, someone.
Slowly... almost fearfully... he turned his head.
As soon as Zyric turns his head back, he sees David, who was looking at him angrily.
