Here's Chapter 1 of the novel:

Chapter 1: The Dark Past

Thomas's eyes gleamed with a cold intensity as he stared at the photograph in his hand. It was an old picture, yellowed with age, of his family - his parents, smiling and happy, and him, a cherubic 5-year-old with a mop of curly hair. His gaze lingered on his parents' faces, and for a moment, the pain and anger seemed to consume him whole.

Twenty-two years had passed since that fateful night when his parents were gunned down by their rivals. Thomas's life had been forever changed, shaped by the desire for revenge. He had grown up in the shadows, learning the ins and outs of the mafia world, biding his time.

Now, at 27, Thomas had finally tracked down the man responsible for his parents' murder - Victor, a ruthless mafia lord. But what caught his attention was Victor's daughter, Natasha, a stunning beauty who had studied at Oxford. Thomas's plan was to make her fall in love with him, to make her life hell, and then, to reveal his true identity.

"Boss, we've got eyes on Natasha," his right-hand man, Marco, said, walking into the room. "She's a real looker, just like you said."

Thomas's lips curled into a cold smile. "Good. Let's get started."

Meanwhile, in a posh café in Karachi, Natasha sipped her latte, oblivious to the danger that was about to enter her life.

"Natasha, you're looking particularly lovely today," her friend, Sophia, said, eyeing her admiringly.

Natasha smiled, her bright blue eyes sparkling. "Thanks, Soph. I've got a meeting with a potential client later, so I wanted to make a good impression."

Just then, a tall, brooding figure walked into the café, his piercing green eyes scanning the room. Natasha felt a shiver run down her spine as their eyes met, but she quickly looked away, attributing it to mere curiosity.

Thomas, however, had already taken note of her. He had a plan, and it was about to unfold.

"Marco, let's make our move," Thomas said, his voice low and menacing. "It's time to make Natasha's acquaintance."
