Chapter 2 — Blue Expansion
All around him… nothing but clones.
Dozens. Hundreds.
Their footsteps echoed on the broken ground, their red and black eyes fixed on him like predators waiting to strike.
Saku stood still in the center, his coat swaying in the wind.
His blue eyes didn't flinch.
Not once.
The moment the first clone moved—
He bent his knees.
And then—
WHOOSH!
Saku launched himself into the air, his body rising above the sea of shadows. The wind roared past him. The world below slowed to a crawl.
From above, his voice cut through the silence:
> "Blue Expansion."
The sky seemed to shiver.
In that instant, a massive, transparent sphere expanded outward from him—so faint, so impossibly clear, that no one outside could even see it. But inside… its presence was absolute.
The clones froze mid-step.
Their bodies trembled.
One by one, they began to crumble—shadows breaking apart, disintegrating into black mist without a single scream.
No blade touched them.
No hand struck them.
They were simply… erased.
Saku descended slowly, his boots touching the ground without a sound.
The dome vanished as if it had never existed.
Only silence remained.
And the field… was empty.
From the corner of his eye, Saku spotted two warriors locked in battle with a massive clone beast.
Reno: Hair blazing like fire, glowing orange eyes, wearing an orange hoodie with black patterns.
Zeron: Sharp golden hair, piercing yellow eyes, wearing a yellow hoodie with black patterns.
The clone raised a colossal fist toward them.
But before it could connect, a faint shimmer in the air appeared—Saku's built-in invisible shield—blocking the strike effortlessly. The ground cracked beneath the pressure, yet the barrier didn't move an inch.
Saku stepped forward, his voice low and final:
> "Disappear."
The clone's form shattered instantly into dust.
He turned to the two warriors.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Reno," said the one in orange.
"Zeron," said the one in yellow.
Saku nodded. "You two look tired."
"Yeah… we're exhausted," Zeron admitted.
"Then come to my place," Saku said.
They walked together, exchanging light conversation. Reno teased about Zeron's aim in the fight, Zeron complained about Reno's "show-off hair," and Saku chuckled quietly, listening to them bicker.
When they reached Saku's home, both warriors froze, their jaws nearly dropping.
The mansion towered high, its gates gleaming, gardens stretching wider than a battlefield.
Zeron blinked twice before speaking.
> "Such a big house… such a huge place—w
hat do you even do with it?"
Reno smirked slightly.
> "Just… normal."
