Chapter 2 - Journey...

Even though the soldiers feared Cliff, they were sure they couldn't oppose him, so they had no choice but to accept him.

Cliff was about to give the soldiers an order. Since they would now live in this world, he told them they needed to build a settlement, but he also knew he had to gather more people and soldiers. Cliff called for someone named Fred. Fred was one of the five founders of the circus and one of Cliff's close friends. He was about 1.80 meters tall, had blonde hair, and black eyes.

Cliff said to Fred, "Gather the soldiers, build a water well and a field here, and then set up a circus where they can stay."Fred nodded and replied, "Are you going alone again? This is dangerous, Cliff. If you disappear into the void, we can't bring you back. God is no longer with you, so what are you planning to do?"

Cliff turned to Fred and said, "If we want to prove ourselves to Him, we have to take this risk. Fred, you and the other circus founders must build a settlement here. I will bring new people."

While Cliff was getting ready, another circus founder named Thalifa said to him, "Please don't die and come back to us safely."Cliff patted her hair and said, "Don't worry, I'm not planning to die yet."

When everything was ready, Cliff took the key needed to travel between worlds from the chain necklace around his neck. The soldiers looked at him, confused, while Fred shouted at them to get back to work. Everyone returned to their tasks except for Fred and the other founders, who stayed to watch Cliff leave.

It was time. Cliff held the key toward the void and said:"Tsu no sekai no shinseina kagi ga mon o hirakimasu."

The air started to crack. Suddenly, strong winds began to blow, almost lifting everything away. Then a gate appeared in front of Cliff. The soldiers were shocked—how could a gate appear out of nothing? Once again, they had witnessed Cliff's power.

Everything was ready. All Cliff had to do was step into the gate and enter the void. But it wasn't that simple—once he stepped in, the gate pulled him inside and closed.

Thalifa said, "He did it again, went alone. I've lost count of how many times I warned him not to."Fred replied, "There's nothing we can do. We just have to do the tasks he gave us and trust him."

Two days passed after Cliff entered the gate. He had no water or food left. He was drifting in the void with no idea where he was going… Finally, the other side of the gate opened, and the void began to light up. As he got closer to the exit, he started hearing voices. They sounded human but also different.

When Cliff came out of the gate, he found himself in the middle of a marketplace. But it wasn't run by humans—it was run by half-human, half-animal people. There were girls with cat ears and big men with lizard tails. Everyone in the market was shocked, trying to understand how Cliff appeared out of nowhere.

Cliff took off his fedora hat, bowed slightly, and said, "Hello, where am I, and what time period is this?"

An old man came closer and said, "This is Green Island, boy. Now tell me, who are you?""I'm Cliff, just an ordinary clown—but the only difference is, I'm not ordinary. I came from another world. My goal is to create a utopia where humans and people like you can live together," Cliff replied.

"Humans? What are those?" the old man asked."They're like you, but they don't have tails or claws," Cliff explained.

The old man seemed interested and invited Cliff to his home for tea. Cliff accepted. As they walked through the market, Cliff asked his name. The old man said, "I'm Vagner, the oldest in this village."

Cliff asked another question, "I noticed everyone here has sharp ears or long furry tails. Why don't you have any?"

The old wolf lowered his head and said, "I used to be a wolf. I had sharp ears and a long tail. Many years ago, I was in the royal army. I had my own unit, but during a war, we were captured, and all my soldiers had their limbs cut off."

After hearing this, Cliff's scary smile turned into anger. He asked who had done it.Vagner said, "Forget it, boy. I know they will be punished by God."

Cliff replied in a firm voice, "The time has come, Vagner. They will pay for what they've done…"
