While she was in "coma", her father had engaged her to one of his subordinates. Though as soon as the game ended, and anonymous tip uncovered an illegal research lead by him, quickly ending the arrangement.

Her body, while not at 100%, was still in shape, thanks to her parents spending for a better facility.

Crowned as a hero for her part in ending the nightmare, she soon turned in a celebrity.

She kept the promise she made herself, and used this status to spread the deeds of all how fought in the front lines.

A strange good luck kept the government from interfering with her objective.

She talked about Klen and his friends, Agiru, Kirito and many others. But most of all, she retell how it was all possible, and the reason she was still alive, due to the last sacrifice of one person.

(Note: I don't know much about Fate, but from what I read and watched, I belive Shirou could do something like that.)

Finally.

After all that time, all the hardship, all the struggle, the spilled blood.

He had it.

The holy grail.

Shiro, limping and bloodied, reach for the reason so many die in the last month.

Houses where blow, cars destroyed, parks ruined, lives taken.

All for that piece of gold metal.

But before he touches it, his eyes catch a glimpse of light.

His head turn, and he watches as Saber, the once and future King, slowly walks around, keeping a lookout, ware of others attacks.

She was his rock, his sword and shild.

She battle for him, bleed for him and much more, just to have a chance of a having a last wish.

To never had pulled the sword from the rock.

All she wanted, was a normal life, carefree, not burdened with responsibility, as a simple farm girl.

She didn't deserve this.

None of then did.

He firms his resolve, and crossed the last inch.

And make a wish.

To all of the world's hero's.

Never watched any anime fate to completion, or read the vn, or played the gacha one.

I got inspired to write this by the synopse of a fanfic I didn't read.
