I expected Alex to attend to her quickly, but he stood there before me seeking clarification for something I could not give at that moment. I could not blame him for being surprised because if I were in his position, I'd feel surprised.
I finally felt relieved when he rushed over to her after she cried and began checking up on her while I stood aside staring at the both of them with no clue of what he was doing to her.
