Chapter 59 - CHAPTER FIFTY NINE: TRUTH.

In-Su's eyes burned with suspicion and fury as he stepped closer, voice low and menacing.

"Tell me what really happened, Bolt. Don't hide behind your lies anymore. I want the truth—what did you do?"

Bolt hesitated for a moment, the weight of his secrets pressing down on him. His fists clenched tightly as he looked away, then back at In-Su, voice trembling.

"I… I did sacrifice myself. Your brother didn't die because he saved me. He summoned that power—he gave everything—"

Before Bolt could finish, In-Su's face twisted with rage.

"Liar!" he snapped, voice echoing with fury.

"You think I don't see through your cowardice? My brother died because of you—because you couldn't handle what you summoned!"

Bolt's eyes flashed with anger and pain. "You don't understand! I was trying to save everyone! I didn't want him to die—"

In-Su's rage boiled over. "Save everyone? Or save yourself? You're just a coward hiding behind false words. My brother's blood is on your hands—"

With a sudden surge of anger, In-Su attacked, blades flashing in the darkness.

Bolt reacted instinctively, parrying the strikes, but it was clear they were both fraying at the edges—emotion and fury fueling their every movement.

Sparks flew as steel clashed, their strikes growing faster, more ferocious.

"You're nothing but a liar and a coward!" In-Su shouted, voice raw with grief and rage. "You killed him—!"

Bolt's eyes widened with fury, and he countered with a fierce blow, forcing In-Su back.

But In-Su was relentless, driven by heartbreak and hatred.

Their blades collided again, the force so intense it sent shockwaves through the air. They pushed against each other, neither willing to give ground, their faces close enough to see the pain and anger etched into their features.

Suddenly, In-Su's blade sliced towards Bolt's neck.

Bolt narrowly dodged, the blade grazing his shoulder.

In-Su's expression twisted with fury as he pressed the attack, blades whirling and stabbing with deadly precision.

Bolt's last burst of strength sent In-Su staggering back.

But the fight was far from over.

They stood, gasping, eyes locked in a mixture of hatred, sadness, and unresolved pain, both knowing this clash was only a chapter in their ongoing war.

Zephyria whispered softly, her voice tinged with sadness, "They seem to really hate each other now."

Elara nodded quietly, her eyes reflecting concern. "I know, right? It's not nice to see them like that."

Aquaris stepped forward, voice calm but firm. "They made their own decision," he said, looking at the raging figures below.

"This is what happens when secrets and pain boil over."

A faint smile touched Emberion's lips as she giggled softly, breaking the heavy silence.

"Me, I just want his soul," she said teasingly, her eyes glinting mischievously.

"But it looks like they didn't seem to want to kill each other… yet."

The others glanced at her, a mix of concern and understanding in their expressions.

The fight between Bolt and In-Su raged on, a volatile mix of anger, grief, and betrayal—each driven by their own torment, unwilling to back down.

In-Su pointed sharply at Bolt, his voice low but filled with hurt and anger. "You were never a good friend. It angers me so much to realize it now."

Bolt clenched his fists, frustration evident in his eyes. "I wasn't the one that suggested, 'Let's be friends,'" he shot back, voice equally tense. "You're twisting everything—"

In-Su interrupted, his tone bitter. "You say that, but look at how you've always acted. You never truly stood by me when I needed you. You were always holding something back, hiding behind your excuses."

Bolt shook his head, voice trembling with emotion. "I did everything for you, In-Su. I fought for us, I protected you—I did it all. Don't act like I abandoned you. I've been trying to keep us safe, even if it meant pretending everything was fine."

In-Su's eyes flashed with pain. "Protecting me? You're just making excuses. You never cared about me—only about saving your own skin. That's why I trusted you, and that's why I feel so betrayed now."

Bolt took a step closer, voice desperate. "You think I didn't care? Every decision I made—every sacrifice—I did it because I believed in us. I wanted to be better, to do better by you. But you never saw that. All you saw was what I wasn't."

In-Su's expression hardened. "All I see now is a friend who was never truly there, only pretending. And now, look where we are—fighting like enemies."

The tension between them was thick, their words heavy with years of frustration, regret, and the pain of broken trust.
