AMARA'S POV
---
I used to be the interesting one.
People used to notice me. My hair. My grades. My dark vampire obsession — the posters, the books, the way I could list every vampire movie in order.
Then she came.
Selena.
Adopted. Pale. Quiet. "Mysterious."
Everyone loves a mystery, don't they?
They call her sweet.
They don't see what I see — the way her eyes shift in the dark, the way animals freeze when she walks past.
And now she's glowing?
> I know what she is.
I just don't know how yet.
---
I scroll through her messages when she leaves her phone in the kitchen.
Zack still texts her. "Are you okay?" "I miss you." "I'm worried."
Pathetic.
> Maybe it's time someone gave Zack a reason to move on.
---
The next day, I do what I do best: lie with a smile.
I run into a girl from school at the store and "accidentally" drop this:
> "Yeah… Selena's been acting weird.
Like… not sleeping. Talking to herself.
Her eyes even changed color. Creepy, right?"
It spreads fast.
Because people love gossip.
And I know how to light the match.
Let's see how "perfect little Selena" handles a little flame.

SELENA'S POV
---
Later that night, I feel the shift in the air.
Whispers. Vibes. Like something is crawling through the shadows toward me.
I sit on my bed and stare at the cracked mirror.
I don't know who I am.
But now… I think they might start asking the same thing.

> Amara's lies are spreading… but the truth is darker.
Selena's secret is no longer just dreams
