How could he have allowed something like this, knowing there was a downside to using it?!
"You didn't mention that. You said it would make me weak and that was all."
"I know you wanted to be able to communicate with your wolf. I didn't want to ruin that for you, Larrissa"
"Even though I might end up dead?! It made my wolf run wild, and she was going to rip my skin out!"
Darrel bowed his head, realizing the gravity of the situation. This is really terrible!
How could he let me use that necklace, knowing fully well it would be the end of me?!
"Why wouldn't you tell me? You knew how dangerous it was. You knew it could kill me!"
"I knew this was important to you, Larrissa! Yes, I was hoping that wouldn't be the case and that this would happen eventually! I thought you wanted this so much, and I didn't want to take that away from you."
"Why do you care about that?!" I yelled.
