Chapter 48: Exchange with Bibi Dong
Artemis was staring at Percy's back as they flew. He had changed, was what was happening. He had definitely changed a lot since she last saw him, and she couldn't blame him in the slightest. But, from what they expected, she had thought of someone much more aggressive and cold. But, contrary to her expectations, Perseus was cold, but calm; and she also realized that he could kill her with one blow if he wanted to.
She knew that what Percy said a little while ago was true, but only to a certain extent. While it seemed that his heart and his memories of her stopped him from hitting harder and killing her, Artemis believed that Percy stopped because of something else, there was something else, but he wasn't willing to tell her. She had seen it before, a person who had that much grudge towards someone or something, wouldn't stop so easily.
Plus, there was also the information she obtained later, that was a bit unnecessary if Percy didn't consider her trustworthy. So much important information related to the universe and the gods, but he just told it to her in a calm and easy way.
As for Percy, he glanced at Artemis before turning his eyes back to the front. Thanks to Zi Ji's sacrifice, his spiritual power had increased once again, reaching the point where he was about to reach the rank of Divine Origin. And while he still couldn't sense many things, he felt a constant gaze on Artemis.
The reason he stopped before shouting many things and continuing to beat, had to do with his memories and his heart, but also out of respect for the Asura God. Percy knew immediately that a God had been watching Artemis, and the only ones capable were the Gods of the Divine Realm. And since the Asura God belonged to it, he decided to leave Artemis alone, for now.
After all, there was no point in antagonizing an unknown God. Not now, at least.
Added to that, Chaos brought Artemis. No one else could have done it. And even if gods can travel through the universe, the gods of the earth would not travel to a sector where other gods ruled, that would not be smart.
Percy knew that Chaos understood many things, and because of one of these things he knew, he helped Artemis.
Percy descended into a forest, but it was not Star Dou. It was a different forest. Artemis looked on curiously, but she could not descend far enough; Percy had swung his saber and completely annihilated a spirit beast before tearing off one of its arms. She noticed that the beast's bone was glowing a dark color.
It was a spirit bone!
With such high spiritual power, it was not difficult for Percy to find a spirit beast with spirit bones in them. And now that he had the spirit bone in his torso, he was only missing three: head, right arm, and left leg. Now, however, having just acquired a right arm bone, he was only missing two to complete the total of spirit bones.
Artemis frowned a little at how brutal Percy was. The white wolf that Percy discovered was a white sky wolf, she shuddered. This wolf was a somewhat special spirit beast for its ability to use the wind to run through the sky.
"Where are we going now?"
Percy raised an eyebrow, but still replied, "I'll head towards the spirit hall city. You, on the other hand, I don't care about in the slightest. I told you that you can do whatever you want."
Artemis was heartbroken at the way Percy treated her, but she couldn't do much. This was practically her fault as well.
Flying at high speed, Percy advanced towards his destination.

Artemis breathed heavily, she was tired from flying so much and at such high speed. Compared to Percy, her flying speed wasn't that much, so she had to work hard to keep track of him. The white wolf in the sky helped her hold on a little. But, she suddenly frowned.
"Stay outside the city, if you go in, you might be hunted."
The Wolf nodded before running further away from the city and hiding.
It took Percy a little while, but he arrived at the papal hall and stood in front of the guards who moved their spears to cross each other.
"Who are you and what do you want?" the two asked at the same time.
"Tell the pope that I'm here for a conversation. My name is Perseus, I'm the owner of the spiritual tool shop."
The guards had frowned, but then raised their eyebrows and looked into each other's eyes. Many knew the owner of the spiritual tool shop. Furthermore, a little while ago, rumors of his battle against Chen Xin spread, so the two guards knew of this man's importance.
"Wait here," one of them entered through the huge doors before he left in no time.
Percy looked at him as the guard nodded, "You may come in, I will guide you."
"Thank you," Percy nodded and walked forward, leaving Artemis with a frown. She snorted, knowing that she would not be able to pass. So, she simply sat down on one of the steps of the grand staircase leading to the door.
Inside the pope's hall, Bibi Dong smiled as she saw Percy enter before she dismissed the guard. Behind her, Ghost Douluo and Chrysanthemum Douluo looked at each other for a moment before taking a closer look at the famous spiritual tool creator. They both admitted in their minds that he was more handsome than the two of them, plus it could be seen at a glance how strong he was.
"It's been a while. Well, at least for you," Percy smiled calmly as he placed his hands behind him.
"It has. It was many years since you came out," Bibi Dong nodded.
"Why did you come?" Bibi Dong asked curiously. While she was glad to see and talk to Percy, she knew he wouldn't make such a simple visit. Therefore, she was curious about the real reason for Percy visiting her.
"I need two spirit bones. If you have a head spirit bone and a left leg spirit bone, then I would like to trade them for something you need."
"Spirit bone?" Bibi Dong frowned slightly. While she did have spirit bones, or rather the spirit hall had them in a special vault, they were all valuable and in fact, some were kept for their disciple.
Percy had come to this place because it would be easier to obtain the remaining spirit bones. While he could hunt spirit beasts, and know which one of them had a spirit bone, he didn't want to do that. Firstly, this method was faster. And secondly, he couldn't kill too many spirit beasts because of his dealings with Gu Yuena.
"Gui Mei, go get Hu Liena."
Gui Mei nodded before she disappeared into a shadow as if she were a ghost.
"You've reached level 98," Percy commented with a slightly bigger smile. But he remembered something from a while ago.
"By the way, I didn't know who it was, but now I thank you for the gift you left at the foot of my front door."
Bibi Dong smiled even harder, happy that Percy had liked the cookies. Ever since she learned how to bake them thanks to Percy, she always made a few from time to time. And when she saw him at the auction, she just happened to have a pack in her storage tool.
"By the way, I can feel a certain... power coming from you. Who chose you?"
"One of the five"
"Ah… I see," Percy nodded, understanding immediately. When she said 'one of the five' she was referring to the five god-kings and part of the divine realm committee. They were the God of Evil, the Goddess of Goodness, the God of Destruction, the Goddess of Life, and the Asura God.
"Master…" Hu Liena suddenly walked in and saluted respectfully as Gui Mei positioned herself behind the throne, on Bibi Dong's right side.
"Liena… come. This is Perseus Jackson, the creator of the spirit tools and the head of the shop in the capital of the Heaven Dou Empire."
Hu Liena was slightly surprised and bowed, cupping one of her hands in her other fist.
"Hu Liena greets the expert."
Percy just nodded, still unused to the ways of greeting and showing respect on this planet.
"Do you want me to give him spirit tools for the spirit bones?"
"Yes," Bibi Dong replied and nodded. "I can give you a 40,000-year-old left leg bone and a 50,000-year-old head bone, but I want you to craft one or two spiritual tools that are roughly equivalent."
Percy nodded and withdrew a platinum-colored belt from his storage bracelet. This was the core of an incomplete two-word battle armor. Percy had already intended to come trade with Bibi Dong, so he had created this. The only thing missing was for Hu Liena to attach herself to it.
"Use your blood to attach yourself to the belt."
Hu Liena caught the belt and looked at it for a moment. It was completely platinum, but had slight golden marks around the center, where there was a small sphere of the same golden color.
"You'll need quite a bit, so hold on."
"What is it?" Bibi Dong asked.
"A two-word battle armor…" Percy replied and began to explain what a battle armor was with all its advantages. Hu Liena, who heard, immediately became excited before cutting off her hand and beginning the binding.
It took a while, but after less than an hour, she was already standing, a little pale from the blood loss, but now wearing a silver-colored skirt and breastplate. The armor looked streamlined with golden lines running from the shoulders to the abdomen.
"This is amazing!"
Bibi Dong just laughed a little knowing that the two words that made up the battle armor were Fox Charm, the same name as Hu Liena's martial spirit.
"You already had it prepared…", she commented towards Percy.
"Mm…", Percy nodded with a small smile.
"Thank you very much!", Hu Liena bowed with a big smile.
"No problem. After all, it is an exchange."
"Fine, then wait a bit so I can hand over the spirit bones," Bibi Dong stood up and nodded towards Gui Mei.
"For now, join me for a moment and have some tea."
