"Shouldn't we turn back now?" Maverick suggested, being the coward he was.
"Hah! Backing out now?
Scaredy-cat." Waylen replied, as he continued walking besides Maverick.
A sigh was heard from behind them; Axelle. She stepped forward.
"There's no time to back out now. And the risk is too high." she spoke, mainly to Waylen.
"Well jokes on you if I wanted to, I would. Don't tell me what to do." he retorted, side-eyeing Axelle.
"You'd get yourself killed if you did that, Len. In fact, you'd already be dead if it weren't for me." she said, only pissing Waylen off more.
"Get lost." he said back to her, not batting an eye in that direction.
Axelle didn't say anything more to him, instead stayed quiet beside him. She ultimately slowed her pace, falling back to walk beside Perry.
"You and Waylen will never lay it down, will you?" Perry spoke, not sparing the redhead beside her a glance.
"And that's coming from who?" Axelle asked, turning her head to look at Perry. Silence, since Perry had no words to reply with— mainly because they were true.
"We don't fight that much." Perry finally replied, implying at Christian. But even as stubborn as she was, she couldn't deny that Axelle was, indeed, right.
Rexine stood beside Eli, watching him trying to figure out a game she taught him how to play recently.
"No, you're supposed to jump there, dude. Go. Go again." she instructed, pointing at somewhere on the screen.
Eli sighed. "I did that already!" He exclaimed, followed by an exasperated sigh.
"Can you guys focus here? Stop playing video games, man." Waylen said, butting his head in-between them, looking at the screen with a raised eyebrow, and unimpressed expression.
Rexine sighed, and stole the phone from Eli, grumbling a 'whatever' under her breath.
"Is this the place?" Ruby asked, pointing into the near distance, a familiar flight of stairs that led down.
"..I hope so." Axelle answered, taking the lead to head in first. She didn't seem all that scared or phased.
"Do you think zombies would eat real food and throw it up later?" the only person who'd even dare to ask such a stupid question; Maverick.
"Maverick." Ruby sighed.
"What?"
"Keep quiet and help all of us."
"...Sorry." After he stayed quiet, Christian also let out a sigh, his eyes darting between the two.

"Here?" Nicole asked.
"No, west." Alice sighed, draping a hand over her face dramatically.
"Can you just point?"
"Nicolas. There, man, there." Alice pointed, and Nicole finally took a turn.
"..Wasn't that hard." he mumbled.
Nicole was currently stuck being The organization's chauffeur, driving around like he owed them something. And what did The organization demand? Obviously, to find his friends. After they had lost track of Perry and the rest, Nathan had gotten more demanding.
Nicole tried playing it cool with all his will, afraid of what would happen otherwise if he lost it. But to be honest, it really freaking pissed him off.
"There. Is that them?" Nathan asked, pointing at a brown haired female.

"Isn't this the subway station we were at before?" Waylen asked, being the first to step inside.
"If not, we're in the wrong place, Len." Axelle replied, standing slightly behind him, holding her phone in hand.
"What the hell is this place?" Perry questioned, taking the lead. She followed the map, hoping to find the room that was circled.
Christian walked alongside Perry, keeping up with her. He was definitely just as curious, if not, more.
"What the…" Perry muttered, as she had reached the door, and opened it. Suppose, it looked like a damn research lab.
Ruby was right behind them. The rest of them seemed a bit far behind, more interested in the lack of bloodiness compared to before.
"..Is that you?" Christian's voice was uncharacteristically soft, looking at a photo of a child, and two adults on either side of them. The faces scratched off, except the child's.
"..Me?" Perry mumbled. He nodded, pointing at the photo. Perry's eyes widened. "That—" she cut herself off, stopping dead in her tracks. "..Yeah."
"Guys!" Waylen's voice cut through, calling out. But, no answer. They were too stunned to speak. Why was a picture of Perry— nevertheless, a child picture of Perry pinned to a board?
"Are you sure that's you? Like.. 100%?"
"..I know that's me." she replied, walking a bit closer to the board. "Same exact hairclips I had as a kid. And always wore."
Ruby sighed. "That's.. a bit creepy, isn't it?" she murmured, and stepped up beside Perry.
"..I think we should leave." Perry mumbled under her breath, fumbling with the pin to take the picture down.
"Hey— we aren't supposed to—"
"It's my picture." She cut Ruby off.
"Yo yo.. guys, look at this stuff." Christians voice cut through again, as he was holding some folder in hand, flipping through the pages. "Theres like some twisted things in here. It's research about zombies." Christian stated, his eyes scanning over each and every word.
"Hey." A pause. "You guys gotta run." Was that..?—
"Nic?!" Christian turned around almost immediately.
Perry stood there in stunned silence before walking closer. But before she could say anything, Nicole spoke again, his voice rather serious. Not one they were used to quite yet.
"I'm serious. Nathan and his minions are coming. They're at a shop and told me to look for you guys. Trust me, you guys… should leave."
