You must have seen a silver haired young man sitted in the backseat of a fast moving Range Rover Velar.
Yep. That's me.
I was escorted out of the Japan's Players Association Headquarters by this two gentlemen and they took me into their vehicle.
As I settled into the plush leather seat, feeling the smooth ride of the Range Rover as it glided over the road.
The gentle hum of the engine a soothing accompaniment to our journey.
The agents controlled the steering wheel. They were both sitted in the front seats while I remained in the back.
While we drove across the busy road.
The highway stretched out before us, a ribbon of asphalt unwinding through the landscape, lined with a steady stream of cars.
Each one a tiny, moving speck in the distance.
The hum of engines and rush of wind created a constant background noise, punctuated by the occasional whoosh of a passing vehicle or the soft chime of a car's warning system.
"So this is how it feels to be a human huh?"
I muttered with a smile.
I exhaled a soft sigh, I've always been a being that flies across the cosmos. A being whose wings could reach the ends of the universe.
A being not even the Endless or the domain of Hell would even challenge.
But now I'm just a mere human.
Atleast I have a purpose of becoming a human….
I don't regret sacrificing my immortality to save the world from its near impending doom.

We're currently on our way to the Japanese Ranking Bureau, from the explanation they gave to me.
If I'm going to retain my position as a player, I must be certified.
And there are only three ways a player can be certified.
The first will be a test to examine the rank and aptitude of a player's mana.
The second will be participating in a grand tournament, competition or participating in a few designated secret tasks.
The third way is when you're verified by a top ranking player.
They're known as S-ranked players.
To the world, they're considered demi-gods and that's thanks to their formidable powers.
If you get an S-rank player to vouch for you. You will officially be licensed without participating in the other two.
But since i don't have the strength of the second option and neither do I have an S-rank player who is willing to vouch for me.
I'll pick the first option.
I wonder what type of test will they give me.
I rolled my eyes sideways, watching the beautiful city of Tokyo. I was mesmerized by how beautiful they truly were.
Even though this humans are evidently weak in terms of powers.
Weak is an understatement, compared to the infinite numbers of race and species scattered across the countless dimensions.
Humans are amongst the weakest.
But when it comes to being intelligent. Humans rank at the top two hundred in the list.
While I was busy admiring the wonders of humanity. My attention was drawn by the words of Agent Carter.
Agent Carter held the steering wheel.
"Mr. Genos…." Agent Carter called out.
He continued…..
"We're already reaching our destination. Even though we've given you all the informations you need"
"I should brief you on some things as well"
"Once you've been certified and licensed. There will be hundreds of guild agents waiting to recruit you"
"Well that depends on the rank you awakened as"
"A player can barely strive without the aid of a guild. You will need a guild's support if you want to clear dungeons and level up"
"And also receive certain benefits and percentages of your raids. You'll also be paid salaries"
"But that depends on your performance and your ranks as well"
"In this supernatural era. Your rank is your merit"
"The higher your rank is, the more benefits you receive as a player"
Agent Carter elucidated.
I took a deep breath.
There's no need to be tensed. I've no reason involving myself in humanity's culture and beliefs.
My targets are the demons hiding in this world.
If I could recall. By this time, a member of the 72thrones is currently in this world.
And a week from now, He's going to cause an incursion.
Gael the Lord of Faces.
A once fallen Angel who has fully embraced the idealism of demons and re-emerged as a full demon.
A trickster and a shapeshifter.
I don't know where he is but I'll find him…
But before I find him. I need to evolve as a human.
I need to level up and grow stronger.
This meant that I must clear more dungeons if that will help me level up faster..!!
~~
The white Range Rover Velar halted at the entrance gate of the Japanese Ranking Bureau.
The door was opened for me and I was given a card.
From the words of Agent Carter. According to Agent Carter, this is a registration card that I must use for the certification test.
If I had gone on my own. It would have taken me a few days to get my hands on this card.
I guess I should thank them for this.
I got down from the car, clad in my black trench-coat.
I waved them goodbye and the car drove off that instant.
Leaving me alone in a land i don't know of.
I exhaled a soft sigh.
Gently approaching the entrace which leads into the gate. That instant a loud beeping sound erupted.
And a blaring voice erupted.
"Who're you?"
A question was asked.
I lifted my head, trying to trace the direction of the voice but the voice echoed from all directions.
A bid to make its owner untraceable.
I took a deep breath.
Quickly raising my card into the air.
"My name is Genos and I'm here to participate in the Certification Test as a player. I just recently awakened"
I introduced myself.
For a few seconds, there was utter silence.
"Wait a minute…"
"I've seen your face before. Are you the survivor of that mutated dungeon that was cleared few days ago?"
The voice boomed through the resounding microphone. Resonant tones filing the space with authority and presence.
Commanding the attention of all who listened.
My lips widened, I wore a bright smile.
"Yes. I'm the player" I answered.
"Please come in" the welcoming voice resounded.
Just then the gates was opened for me and I made my way through. It took me a few minutes walk to reach my destination.
The main building where the certification test will be taking place.
I passed through the hefty numbers of talent agents waiting outside the building to welcome players once they've passed through their tests
And to my very suprise. I wasn't the only one present.
An uncertain numbers of newly awakened players were present to take the certification test as well.
I needed to wait my turn.
Lucky for me, I saw an empty bench and quickly took my seat.
While I awaited my turn.
[Dylan Thompson: C rank]
[Majerie Owens: B rank]
[Slyvester Kosi: D rank]
[Tyler Tyson: C rank]
[Kuirat Kizaron: E rank]
[Jae-Silho: E rank]
[Park-Muhon: D rank]
I could hear the sounds of both celebrations and cries.
Players jumping and punching the air, overwhelmed with excitement.
On the other hand, those whose ranks were below C ranks wallowed in tears. D and E rank players were treated as foot soldiers.
And they're limited to a lot of benefits.
Often rejected by most top guilds.
I wondered what my rank as a player will truly be.
Since I was once an Archangel. It should be an S rank right?
**
I waited in silence for an hour more. My heart skipped a beat the second my name was called.
[Mr. Genos, You're up next]
