"(Huh, who am I? Where am I? What is this place? Who are
these people?)" I said to myself.
"YES, FINALLY! We summoned a human from the other world!" One of the guys shouted.
I was on the ground, and two guys whose names I later found out are Lloyd and Royd Smith, the twins of Sarah, the leader of the Smith clan, were standing in front of me with a look of bliss on their faces.
Royd had a slender figure, tall, navy blue eyes, hazel brown hair, a scar on the left side of his cheek, and always did what his older brother Lloyd told him to do.
And the other one was Lloyd, kinda chubby-looking, sky blue eyes, hazel brown hair, shorter than his younger brother, who looks timid outside. Still, sometimes when he's furious, he will show his nasty personality.
Lloyd got down on one knee and held my hand.
"Otherworlder, please tell us your name." He asked with a soothing voice.
I stared off into a gaze.
He tilted my head upwards and looked me dead in my eyes.
"Are you a deaf human? I asked for your name!"
"I... don't... know... my... name." I replied slowly.
The facial expression of Lloyd changed from blissful to outraged.
He grabbed me by the collar and started to shake me.
"What do you mean by you don't know what your name is?!" He shouted. "You know what a good beating will make you tell me your name."
He got up and started kicking me.
"If you don't have a name, we
can't implant some of our magic attributes into you, and if we
can't do that, we can't use you to execute the leader and the elders
of our clan, so if you want me to stop kicking you, tell us your fucking name!"
"But it's the truth, I don't remember my name!" I shouted while groaning in pain.
"Lloyd, tone down your voice; if someone heard you just now, they would come in here, and if they saw the otherworlder, they would've reported us to the leader of the clan."
"God, I hate this clan so fucking much, since grandad got weak."
"This clan was among the 10 strongest clans in all of the northern province, but now it's in the bottom rank!"
"Ok, but if he doesn't have a name, he's useless to us, let's get rid of him."
"(Huh, what does he mean by get rid of me?)" I said to myself.
"Fall into the depths of the abyss, water prison!"
Suddenly I was submerged in a bottomless area of water.
"Huh, is this water?! How am I in water when a second ago I was in a room; never mind that I have to get out before I drown." I thought to myself.
"If you had just told us your name, you wouldn't be drowning now!" Lloyd laughed.
"Anyways, we have to summon another person."
"Ok, but I don't have enough magical energy to summon
anyone at the moment."
"It's ok, Royd, I can wait until you rebuild your magical energy to summon another person."
I was swimming as hard as I could but the more I swam, the deeper I went, and I couldn't reach the top; then I thought to myself, "Is this the way I'm going to die? Drowning in an abyss of water."
Before I completely blocked out, I saw a petite, long black-haired, black-pupilled woman, wearing a black sundress appear in front of me.
"It looks like you're in a really horrible situation. My name is Nephthys, the goddess of death, and I'm here to save you."
Her voice was so soothing that I thought she was an angel, but she's far from being an angel.
"Wait, you're the goddess of death, wait, am I going to die? No, I can't die yet, I'm still too young to die."
"Are you stupid or something? I said I'm going to save you from dying."
"Wait, you're going to save me, but isn't the goddess of death's job to guide souls into the afterlife?"
"Technically, no, that's my son Anubis' job. Anyway you seem like an interesting guy, so I'm going to save you, but before I do, you have to form a pact with me, so will you do it?"
"Ok, but how to form a pact with you and what are the terms of the pact?"
"Oh it's very easy, we have to kiss eachother on the lips, and for that, he agreement of the pact is that each time you die, you will have to keep me company for 10, so do you agree with the terms of the pact?"
"What do you mean by each time I die?" I asked.
"It is as I said, each time you die you have to keep me company for 10 minutes, oh, but don't worry, when you die you will come back to life, physical, mental, and ability-wise."
"I don't think that's a good idea for a pact."
"Are you going to agree to it or not? If it wasn't for me, right now you would be with Anubis going to the underworld and tell me the underworld is in stables, because Osiris is pretty angry right now."
"Angry for what?" I asked.
"Never mind that, are you going to form the pact with me?"
"Ok, fine, I will form the pact with you."
"Ok, so what are you waiting for, an invitation? Kiss me."
Nephthys pulled me by my shirt and kissed me.
After she kissed me, I started to feel different from the inside out.
"Now that we have formed a pact, get me out of here."
"Ok, say this word 'teleport me to the closest corpse."
"Wait what?!"
"Just say the word if you want to leave."
"Ok, fine, teleport me to the closest corpse."
"Oh before you go, there's other human on this world who got an ability from different gods too, so be on your guard or don't. Anyways hasta la muerte."
"Hasta la what...."
And then suddenly I was freed from my early watery grave.
I was on the ground, gasping for air, and then when I turned around, I saw something that traumatized me.
"Huh, is..... is that.. a.... human corpse!" I yelled.
I sprang up, started running, and was screaming at the top of my voice. I didn't know where to go, but I didn't care. I continued until I entered a forest, and then I collapsed from exhaustion.
"Y'all, I need help over here! I found someone unconscious!" Someone shouted.
Later on, when I finally came back to my consciousness, I was inside a different room, but beside me, I saw an orange-haired, girl who looked no older than 30 lying down beside me.
"Am I in a hospital? It looks like everything was a dream." I thought.
"Howdy, are you awake now? You're in the army sick bay."
"I found you passed out in the middle of a slime forest."
"Who are you and what are you talking about Slime Forest? There's no forest on Earth have a goofy name as Slime Forest."
"Earth? What's that?"
"You gotta be kidding right? This planet is Earth, and we all live on Earth."
"I don't know what you're talking about, this planet is called Ennead."
"Ennead? What are you talking about...?"
Then, suddenly, I started thinking to myself "What if everything that happened earlier wasn't a dream and I did in fact got summoned into another world, and the dead
human corpse I was lying beside of was real too."
I vomited. "I was beside a dead human..."
"What are you talking about, kiddo?"
"I don't know what happened, but first I was room with two guys, then in water, then I was out of it, and then I was beside a dead human corpse." I vomited again.
"Y'all, we need a healer in here!"
Then I thought to myself. "A Healer? Like those fantasy anime and video games?"
A tall, silver-haired, emerald green-eyed girl, wearing a gold strapless dress, ran into the room holding a staff in her right hand.
"Huh, what's wrong with him?!" She shouted.
"He's vomiting!"
"And that's what you called me in here for Captain?"
"Yes, he might have an upset tummy, Silvia."
"Ugh, ok fine I will heal him only because you're at a higher rank than me."
"Higher rank? Are they in the army or something?" I thought to myself.
"Huh, why are you pointing that stick at me?!" I shouted.
"This is not a stick, you idiot! This is my magical weapon."
"Did... you... just say magical weapon?"
"Sekhmet, why did I choose this line of work? Yes I saidit's a maigcal weapon, please don't move."
"Chiryousha!"
After she said those words, a bright orange ray of light emerged from the staff and engulfed me.
From that moment on I realized that I wasn't on earth anymore, and that I actually got summoned into another world.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to ask what your name is?"
"My name? I don't remember my name." I replied.
"You don't? Anyway, my name is Lola, and that giant-looking one is Silvia."
"Who are you calling giant-looking, you country bumpkin?"
"Silvia, are you disrespecting someone higher than you in
rank? Should I go and tell the commander?"
"No, no, no, I'm sorry, Captain Lola!"
"It's ok, cutie pie."
"Can't you stop calling me that, captain? It's getting on my nerves."
"Anyway, it looks like your new friend here has lost his memory, captain."
"Oh, that must be why he's saying a lot of weird stuff and calling Ennead Earth."
"Wait, did you say you're from Earth?"
"Yes..." I responded hesitantly.
"That means you're an otherworlder, right? Then, can you tell me who was the one who summoned you here?"
And this is just the beginning of how I got summoned into this magical world.
