Paulina has just woken up from sleep. She goes to the living room and sees Nico watching a Yoran Gu competition.
(Yoran Gu, is a form of art performed mostly in Nihonia. A person called a "Yoh", picks two random cards from a jar, displays a story using nothing but whatever theme/topic presented on the cards, you're allowed to speak but no other forms of telling stories are allowed. A Yoh is only to use cards, their mouth and their body language
Every card has a different theme written on them. A Yoh is expected to pick a random card and tell a story through that. It's pretty hard to do but many people around the world have managed to perform it
They are to sit in a circle, in a cross legged position, no other position is allowed. If your story is good, for the time being, and your body moves out of the circle, a point is deducted but if it is a bad story, then you're disqualified. If it happens the second time and if your story is good, point deduction, bad story, disqualification, third time there's absolutely no exception.
The appropriate time of an entire performance is ten minutes. In some cases, the time could possibly reduce but will never increase past ten minutes.)
"You never told me that you liked Yoran Gu", Paulina says with a tired voice and a smile.
Nico nods in silence still watching the competition. The world prodigy of Yoran Gu, Kitsu Uli, from Ferthin, Mion, Is clearing the competition.
Paulina is hooked to seeing how this battle is going to play out. In the final round it's Kitsu Uli versus Safda Rima.
Safda Rima is a prodigy too, He had been performing since he was ten, and now this is his final competition.
He trained Uli, and now they are competing against eachother in a competition. It's enough to make a grown man cry.
The time given is four minutes of storytelling.
Rima selects the first card, on it is written snake. He picks a second one, it says "belt".
The bell is rung signaling for Rima to start.
Rima begins, his movement and his dialogue is really great the judges note it down.
Even Nico can see that Rima's presentation, is absolutely flawless.
He finishes his story and a second after that the audience is cheering so much including Nico and Paulina are hooked by it.
Uli comes on stage, congratulates Rima with flowers and a hug, Rima walks off the stage
Uli is telling a story of a boy who joins a cult and how it changed his life in both a positive and negative way.
Midway through the telling of the story she's shot. Complete silence fills the audience and then a second later everyone's screaming.
Nico and Paulina are in complete silence, and also begin to scream, they are both crying asking what the hell just happened.
Officers appear on the scene immediately, and arrest every single person in the building, to find out who really did it.
Nico turns off the TV immediately.
"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT, NO, NO, NO, NO, I CAN'T EVEN SINK ANYTHING IN....W-WHY WAS SHE ASSASSINATED, SHE'S JUST A SIXTEEN YEAR OLD, AHHHH", Nico screams with eyes slowly turning red and overflowing tears.
Gold comes to the living room and sees the both of them crying, he knows exactly what happened, he too is a die hard Yoran Gu fan.
But he has to leave the house right now, because he has a fight with a certain cook who has an afro.
