General Zoan left the throne room, he flew towards a huge building off the east wing of the palace. He knocked but received no answer, knowing Marmaman was probably antennae deep in his experiments, he burst the door open and walked in.
"You uncivilized curr, couldn't you have open the door like a normal person", Marmaman said will spilling some red liquid on the floor.
"I knocked, you did not—a blue claw shot passed his faced, but still took his left antenna off. "You bastard!", Zoan yelled.
His blue carapace turned red and his aura shifted. Marmaman smiled and readied his stance.
"Stand down, both of you", a feminine voice said.
A slender, younger version of the queen walked in, except her hair was blue and she wasn't as huge.
"But princess, we can't just let", she cut Zoan off by saying, "I understand general Zoan and if it wasn't for her Majesty i would have let you two duke it out and marry the winner, but mother said we should leave posthaste, less you two draw her ire". They both shuttered at the thought.
"Right away your highness", they both yelled.
The three left immediately, on her throne, the queen smirked. The three insects stopped at what appears to be an abandoned factory. As they came through the doors you can see giant eggs, tubes with eggs, an assembly line of eggs of different shapes and sizes.
"Excellent as always malady", Marmaman beamed. " I asked you to set this up only a few days ago, and you've even exceeded my expectations. Marvelous, spectacular, yes, yes", he drooled.
The general looked the the insect in a lab coat with utter disgust, and slight trepidation. What an abhorrent thing, why did her Majesty pair me with such filth, maybe i need a vacation, my wife is having twins anyways.
The princess had a thoughtful glee, as she was watching the facial expressions ofthe general(if you could call it that). "Dr. Mar can you make the living weapons now. I've even took the liberty to capture female humanoids of young ages. I know you need child-bearing meat bags for the implementation to have the highest chances of success", she said with a smile on her face.
"Malady you know me too well, and yes with these resources i can have a batch made within a fortnight, it seems I'll have to petition Her Majesty for you hand in marriage after this amazing betrothal gift", marmaman said with a uncharacteristically straight face.
Both the princess and the doctor have gone crazy, doesn't she know this will piss off the higher-ups of planet Knyebris(new-bris). I must be fortunate that the queen did not decree i marry the princess. Or my harem plans are gone, plus she seems a bit evil. General Zoan thought.
Marmaman got to work, he placed a live human female in one of the open tubes, then placed an egg in the tube beside that one. There was a huge tube in the center of the factory turned Laboratory. He pressed a black button and the two tubes lit up. The egg burst, and the human was screaming while her skin and blood peeled away slowly.
After about ten minutes the light show and the screaming underwater stopped. The tube in the center lit up and when the went to check it, there was a mass of some kind of slime, or blob like object.
"It seems, one of my calculations are off, no, was the composition of the egg the wrong type. Wait, no, the human's genome was too poor, it couldn't withstand the transfusion nor the transfer. Hummmmmmm, maybe some type of potion, genome based, no, insect based, preferably strong, and has a higher genetic composition and genome count. Yes that could work. But i would need a binding agent as well", marmaman thought aloud.
Both the princess and the general was amazed, they couldn't believe he could figure it out after one look, and then immediately find solutions, and then refine them in a matter of seconds. While they were still shocked, marmaman was still talking about his experiments as he was setting up for the next test.
For the next few days he made potion after potion, refining them, recompiling, and restructuring them. He even used his own blood, carapace, and other regrowable body parts. Hitting a wall, he made his way to the mansion that was across the street.
"Princess, if you wouldn't mind, I would like some of your blood", marmaman said.
"How dare you ask her highness for her royal blood", the general screamed while taking a battle stance.
"Settle down general, I anticipated this on day 1, and I don't mind this. Having strong warriors in our command is threefold. Firstly, our people will not have to die if we have other pawns. Secondly, having more tiered fighters will prevent the humans from attacking us, for at least a few more years. Thirdly, workforce, while war isn't going on, we still need to mine, farm, etc, you know, only some of us have actual dexterity in our hands", she said.
Based on this logic the general indeed had nothing to say. If he kept pushing after this it could be seen as treason or betrayal, even killing his family wouldn't be out of the equation.
"The princess is as wise as she is beautiful", marmaman beamed.
"Careful doctor, flattery will get your assignment postponed, lucky for you I'm not my mother, or you wouldn't be leaving the mansion until the day after tomorrow", she said.
I can not believe i have to listen to these two flirt, and if the queen was here I'd have left yesterday. No man alive has lived after getting her affections, trust me i want to, but i also don't want to die. The General thought.
Meanwhile back at the rundown cottage:
"Richard and Maria, i have something for you. But its up to you to take it", Isari said.
Both looked at him with curious eyes, they know that he is a selfish and morally grey fiend. But he did look out for them and share some of his resources. And to be honest he isn't a liar nor a manipulator, they both thought.
"Okay Isshin, lets here it", Richard said.
"I'm all ears, young man", Maria said.
"Well, i have evolved and I am now Mortal tier 1. I even defeated a mortal tier 1 insect. So i was hoping you guys pledged allegiance to me, pick up a sword, and lets take over a Galaxy", Isari said nonchalantly.
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat!", they both yelled. This woke up some of the others, some gave them a side eye, some looked curious, some called them names, others went back to sleep.
"You can't just say all this at once, we need more details", Richard said.
"That's right. And what do you mean you evolved, you can only do that after Acending, at least that was what was said in the manuscripts", Maria blurted out.
"I understand your questions, this will be a long story so lets go grab a paste-like lunch and dirty water. This will have you on the edge of your stools". Isari then explained the whole day.
