As the moon cast it silvery glow on the earth, Astrid hands as the mixed the ingredients for the ritual together and began to whisper an incantation incantation, the atmosphere became tense as she continue to recite the incantation her voice still and low but had a magic of it own, Thirteen minutes passed and she became silent but the silence was shattered by a knock on the door, Astrid heart skipped a beat, who would dare to visit her at this hour, it was 3 am the devil's hour.
As she was lost in thought the door slowly creaked open and a shadowy figure leaned behind the door
" Who dares!" Astrid demanded, her magic at the ready, ready to attack at any moment.

Astrid froze when she heard this 'the tenebris coven' she thought, the coven was one of the darkest and most dangerous coven every one was afraid of anyone who belonged to the coven.
" How did you know about this" Astrid asked trembling in fear, but the figure had already left leaving Astrid with more questions than answer, it was like a dream the figure came and left in a minute or two, but Astrid knew she had to leave this her little house if the tenebris coven was after then they might come after her tomorrow.
She went to her room and began to back some of her spell and incantation book with some portions for protection, immediately she stepped out of the house she took five steps back and whispered a spell under her breath, the house was instantly engulfed with flames that licked the walls and swallowed the darkness whole.
Then she began to walk very fast, her house was located in a forest and the forest was very cold that morning with fogs everywhere, she shouted have used her magic to create a portal and go to another town but she didn't want to use her magic anymore if not the tenebris coven would know where she is, she immediately started to run, sweat dripped down her face and soaked through her clothes as she continued to run, she was already tired but she still pushed forward branches scraped her skin as she ran she finally stopped and sat on a fallen tree sweating profusely.
As she sat on the tree feeling exhausted she heard a crumbling sound and immediately got up and four women wearing robe at the back of her.
" Who are you?" Astrid asked trembling in fear but the women remained quiet
" Who are you?" Astrid astrid asked again her voice louder this time.
The four witches stood quietly then stretched their hand towards Astrid, Dark smoke emitting from their hands, Astrid already knew they where from the tenebris coven she thought they will come tomorrow or this night but here they are, she shouted have just poured petrol on her house and burned it she shouldn't have used magic, she was now powerless, after she had done that incantation before the mysterious man came it took a lot of her power it would take month for her power to recover , she knew she was no match for this witches, she collapse heavily unto the cold soil, the weight of exhaustion and despair crushed her spirit, powerless, sad and broken Astrid closed her eyes waiting for the witches to finally silence her heart which was beating rapidly.
The dark smoke on the witches hands turned red and they stretched forth there hands towards Astrid and the red smoke stroke Astrid, it was extremely hot, Astrid felt her energy draining completely and her life slipping away.
Then he eyes began to glow from a dark brown eye colour to bright gold _celestial and otherworldly.
She started to whisper an incantation her voice barely audible, she knew she also had to destroy tenebris coven and everyone inside she smiled and feel silent the four witches feel to the floor and screamed in pain, Astrid happily smiled to herself, the spell worked, she then fell on the cold soil _ she was dead. The tenebris coven also disappeared with everyone who belonged in the coven.
