Chapter 57 - Chapter 57 – Safe Paths and Hidden Trails

After several intense days of searching, Lee Jun began crafting a new strategy to maximize the hunt for Veilroot. Though his goblins had already found five roots, he realized that the deeper they ventured into the forest, the greater the risks became.

"I need to create safe routes and map out areas the goblins can explore without constant danger," he muttered while studying a rough map drawn on beast hide.

With Godon's help, Jun organized the goblins into two teams. The first team focused on creating a stable route—clearing paths and marking them with stones and tree carvings. The second team, led by agile goblins like Diga, was tasked with scouting untouched areas, uncovering hidden patches of valuable herbs.

During this time, Jun resumed sending batches of ordinary vegetables and herbs to the outside world. He entrusted the sales to his parents, who remained unaware of Veilroot or mana stones.

"Dad, Mom. Here's this week's harvest. Please sell it at the morning market as usual. I'll send more next week," he said in a brief phone call, making sure only mundane produce was included—careful not to attract unwanted attention.

Meanwhile, Godon trained several young goblins using weapons looted from elite enemies. Those weapons were now being repurposed to strengthen their small force. The trained goblins were starting to show more discipline and fighting ability—an impressive evolution from just a month ago.

That night, Jun sat quietly by a small campfire, gazing at the freshly unearthed Veilroot in his hand.

"I can't process you yet… but I know your value. We'll find more."

And for the first time since the fog had cleared, the artificial stars above Goblin's Grove shone clearly—almost as if they were acknowledging the young landowner's growing ambition.
