Alexander's Point Of View :
As soon as I stepped inside the Anderson's Villa with Lucca & Aadam by my side, I saw all the servants gathered near the stairs. Seeing it I quickly went upstairs to uncle's bedroom only to find everyone in the Anderson family gathered in front of his bedroom.
Seeing it, I understood the severity of the situation & quickly asked my best friend & the eldest one of the triplet brothers of Anne, Arnav.
"How is Uncle?"
I inquired while peeking inside his bedroom through the transparent glass door only to find him lying on bed with multiple wires attached to his body as doctors did their work. It made my heart tremble as for me, he is the strongest man I have ever seen but now seeing him like this really saddened me. Levis signed at my question & answered in a tired voice.
"How do you think he would be without his Anne Baby? His condition is getting worse day by day."
He responded, sounding helpless. As soon as he finished, his brother Lucas exclaimed in a low voice.
"Dad really misses her. His life lies in his Anne Baby, his princess."
That's true & everyone of us knows it too. We all are helpless here. No one can do anything to help uncle now except for Anne. Only she can help him recover & return back to his old self. Dejected, we all went back to the living room of Anderson's Villa as doctors were still treating uncle when the youngest one of the triplet brothers & my second best friend Lucas said dejected.
"It has been a year since she left, I am really worried for her now. I am afraid something happened to her"
He cried fearfully to which he got scolded in an instant by his second brother Liam.
"Don't say that. Nothing bad can happen to our Anne Baby."
He comforted & I really hope what he said is true & nothing has happened to her or I don't know how I am even going to live if something is supposed to happen to her. I exhaled thinking about all this when the second eldest of the triplet brother's, Levis, expressed worriedly.
"We have been searching for her for an entire year. All of our men are spread everywhere. We have searched all the places where she could possibly be but to no avail. We have searched so many countries where she could be but no results. No matter what we do, no matter how much we search for her, we just can't find her. It's as if her existence has been wiped from the world."
What he said shuttered my heart & made it tremble in fear, before I could say anything, his brother Liam snapped at him.
"Don't say that. No matter how we have to find Anne Baby before something bad happens. Dad's health is also deteriorating day by day."
That's right, I need to be strong not for myself but for my uncle. He needs me.
I tried to comfort myself, but what Aadam said next made my heart drop in my stomach.
"God knows where she is, what she is doing, how she is doing, if she is even alive or....."
I was filled with range & my heart trembled with fear at his words but he didn't get to finish as before I could stop him Lewis growled at him angrily.
"Shut up. Dare you finish that."
He threatened. Lucas quickly came forward & held him back before he beat the shit outta my irritating little brother, Liam patted his back to calm him down while saying.
"I am really getting worried for her now. Please find her Guys. Please bring back my Anne. I don't know what you guys will do, I just want my Anne back."
He said broken which broke my heart too. I put my hand on his & assured him.
"Don't worry we will find her."
I said assuringly more like myself than him.

I entered Andrew uncle's bedroom as the doctors left after his checkup was done. Others waited outside to have a talk with the doctor's about his current condition but I just couldn't stop myself from walking towards him when I saw his weak form, laying on bed with an IV.
Seeing me, Andrew uncle who was conscious now, weakly called out to me in a small voice.
"Alex"
He whispered which was audible enough to be heard for my ears & motioned me to come towards him with his hand which had a heart rate monitor wire attached to its finger.
Understanding his signal I went to him & sat by his bed.
Slowly taking his hand in mind, I called him.
"Uncle, you will be fine."
I tried to assure him but only I knew that more than him, I was assuring myself. Hearing me he smiled weakly & all he could say was.
"Anne"
He whispered through his oxygen mask with much difficulty. Although he didn't finish his sentence, I still knew what he wanted to say. He was concerned for her. All he wishes for is to see his daughter. Knowing what he wants, I promised him.
"Uncle don't worry. I promise I will bring your daughter back to you. Don't lose hope. Nothing will happen to her. I won't let anything happen to her. I will bring our Anne back, safe & sound. I promise."
I assured him to which he nodded his head slowly before losing his consciousness.
After bidding by everyone, with a heavy heart I left Anderson Villa leaving Aadam there to accompany kids so they won't feel alone, but as soon as I went to my car I saw a very rare sight. Lucca who usually stayed gloomy was beaming. Seeing his excited face I asked him curiously.
"What is it? You look happy!"
As soon as I finished speaking he exclaimed with joy.
"Good news Boss"
He replied mustering to which I raised my brow at him questioningly, being curious now knowing it's not easy to please this gloomy beast, I wondered what made him so happy so I asked.
"What is it?"
Asking, I headed towards the car while my hamsters kept waiting to hear his reply. I feel he is more than ready to answer my question as if he was just waiting for it. Proving me right he quickly replied but the words which left from his mouth next made me struck in my breath.
"We found her, Boss."
He informed me enthusiastically knowing how much this matters to me & as soon as those words fell on my ears, I felt as if the world around me stopped revolving. I couldn't believe what I just heard. I felt as if my ears were ringing, my mind was playing a game on me again, like it has been doing for the past whole 1 year.
I stopped walking & stood dead in my tracks, trying to contemplate what I just heard. After collecting myself, I quickly pinched my arm to check if it's really reality or am I dreaming again. As the pain shot from my arm I signed, rubbing my face with both my palms as I asked him without turning back, not wanting him to see my expression, my desperation, the yearning written on my face which is really embarrassing.
"Where is she?"
Even though it came out as an emotionless & blank voice still I was desperate from inside but didn't let it show. Only I knew how much I craved for this moment. As if reading my desperation, Lucca was quick to answer.
"California. Our spies informed me just now that someone saw her in Los Angeles ."
He revealed which relieved my heart & without wasting even a second in thinking anything, I commanded as I strode towards my blue Rolls Royce Boat Tail with fast pace.
"Lucca, get my private jet ready. We are flying to California, Los Angeles within half an hour. It's time, she comes back home."
I muttered the last sentence to myself after barking an order at Lucca & that was enough for him to know it better to get the work done. Getting inside the backseat of the car & shutting the door rather aggressively making a loud banging noise, I closed my eyes & muttered to myself with determination as I reminisced that angelic face which is haunting my memories, not leaving me even in my sleep since the day I have seen her.
"I am coming, Sweetheart."
With it, Lucca started the car & drove off, heading straight towards my mansion as I got ready to fly to California to bring my lady love back to her home.

Back to the present...
Considering the 7 hours time gap between Australia & California, now it's 09 am here. After travelling for 16 hours in my private jet, covering a long distance of 13,081 km between Australia & California, here I was. Waiting for this traffic to clear up, so I can go & find her in this big city.
Even though I was hell tired & this jet lag was killing me, still I couldn't contain my excitement of meeting her. My happiness of finally being able to see her face to face, after a whole year was something which was greater than everything & anything in the world.
That's what is encouraging & literally pushing me to get her. Get her back.
I was lost in her thoughts when my eyes which were roaming everywhere aimlessly, settled on a nearby bus stop but what caught my eyes what the feminine figure standing a little away from under the rooftop of bus stop, holding an umbrella in one hand which was covering her half of the face leaving only her dazzling smile visible for eyes, her smile so honest & pure that it can make anyone swoon, robe hearts, while her other hand playing with rain like a small child making her happy.
Seeing her small childish act I felt myself chuckle. I smiled at her adorable act when I saw her waving her hand childishly at some random kids, I laughed at the cuteness while shrugging my head at her innocence in disbelief.
It amused me too that how unknowingly she caught my interest & surprising myself I got lost in staring at her out of curiosity & admiration, forget everything else. A look of appreciation crossed my face when I saw now that kind hearted Angel saved those school going kids from getting their uniform ruined with the mud water splashed by a passerby Bugatti Veyron which must be driven by a spoiled brat considering how it passed through the bus stop at full speed, breaking all the speed limits. That reminded me of Anne.
My Anne hates speed. Once I took her for a long drive in my new sports car. It was the first model of 18.7 million worth Bugatti La Voiture Noire, which I had brought only to impress her. But after just one ride, she was literally feeling dizzy due to the speed. Later I never drove that sports car.
Anyways, getting back to the present. That girl's reflexes really impressed me. She was fast to react. She was sharp. She covered those kids with her own body, to shield them & at the same time, she saved herself too by covering her back with an umbrella. Now I was curious. I really wanted to see her face.
I was looking at her intently as the girl interacted with those kids. Maybe they were thanking her. Then I saw them hug the girl & she embraced them too. Anne really should learn from this girl. They both are worlds apart. I don't know why I am comparing a random girl with my lady love but I really wish Anne was anything like her. I love kids but Anne always hated them & that saddened me since I had always dreamt about having kids with her.
I signed at that depressing thought & shook my head to avoid them, as if it would really keep them at bay. Smiling sadly, I looked at that girl at the bus stop again with a longing in my heart.
I don't know why but I craved to see her face. Something in me was screaming at me, wanting to see her angelic face. Unknowingly she had wavered my heart.
As if hearing my call, that girl really slowly raised her umbrella above her head while holding another free hand of hers trying to remove the silky long threads of brown wavy hairs from her face.
My heart beat raised, I felt my heart doing a flip flop in my chest which had never happened before as I saw the umbrella getting slowly raised from above her face.
I was holding my breath, which later got stuck in my throat as I saw that very familiar Angelic face. The same face which I had grown up to love. The same face I yearned to see. The same face I can never get tired of looking at. The same face I was craving to see from the last 1 year. The same face which I really miss & had occ
upied my mind. The face which belongs to her. My lady love. Whom I love from the moment I realised what love is & the only words left my mouth were.
