"The Grid connects. Erevis severs. What's left… is neither power nor peace."
PART I: When the Void Strikes
Setting: Timeline-274B – Delta Core Ranger City (mid-future)
Cast: Kael, Mira, Thorne, Ayla, Rin, Zara (hologram)
The Atlas drops out of dimensional phase just above a shattered skyline. Delta Core — a city known for its powerful tech-based Rangers — is eerily silent. Buildings stand intact, but lights flicker. There are no bodies. No sounds. No screams.
Kael (quietly):
"It's like time stopped breathing."
Thorne (fingers his blade):
"Nah. It exhaled. Just never inhaled again."
Zara scans the city.
Zara:
"There were twelve active Rangers here. Signal shows zero."
Mira:
"No Grid residue. That's impossible."
Suddenly, the air hums.
A shape flickers in the sky.
Not a Ranger. Not a Null.
Just a ripple. A voice without sound.
The Echo of Erevis. It's not a creature. It's a reflection of what would remain if nothing existed. It warps light but casts no shadow.
The moment it appears, the Rangers' morphers flicker.
Ayla (panicking):
"Guys—my Yellow won't respond!"
Kael (growling):
"Everyone fallback—!"
Too late.
The Echo touches a nearby monument.
The entire structure vanishes — no crumble, no flash. Just absent. Like it was never there.
The Rangers retreat into a crumbled train tunnel as the Echo hovers. It doesn't chase. It doesn't move. It simply waits.
Scene 2: Within the Tunnel
Mira (working frantically):
"It's not anti-matter. It's anti-presence. It corrupts the memory of existence."
Rin:
"…It's Erevis's warning. A message to every timeline: Your Grid is fragile."
Zara chimes in, voice low.
Zara:
"We're not here to fight it. We're here to extract something."
She projects a layout of Delta Core's power vault.
Zara:
"There's one last sealed morph-core below the vault. Pure Grid energy. It may be the only thing Erevis can't erase."
The team splits into two. Kael leads Ayla and Mira toward the core, while Rin and Thorne act as decoys.
Scene 3: The Core Room
Inside the vault, Mira finds the orb pulsing with unfiltered Grid essence. Ayla stares too long and stumbles.
Ayla (quietly):
"…I remember this. Not here. But this feeling."
Mira:
"What do you mean?"
Ayla:
"When I was a kid. Right before I was chosen. I saw this orb in a dream. But… the dream ended with the world cracking like glass."
Mira's eyes widen.
Mira:
"Ayla… what if you weren't chosen? What if you were placed?"
PART II: Colorless
Setting: Atlas – Later That Night
Cast: Rin, Ayla, Zara
Rin sits alone. His morpher lies in pieces before him. No glow. No response. One by one, the White powers are fading.
Rin (to Zara):
"It's draining. Slowly. Like it's taking pieces of me when I sleep."
Zara scans him. Her face turns pale.
Zara:
"It's not the Grid abandoning you. It's you detaching from it."
Rin stands, angry.
Rin:
"Then tell me—what was I before the Grid?"
Zara (softly):
"A blank. A forgotten. A soul pulled from a timeline Erevis already consumed."
Rin:
"So I was never supposed to exist."
Zara:
"You're an anomaly. That's why your powers are unstable. But it's also why Erevis wants you gone."
Ayla listens quietly. Then finally, she speaks.
Ayla:
"I'm not who they thought I was either."
Rin turns.
Ayla:
"I'm not just from a comedy timeline. I'm from a fractured one. One where Erevis left fingerprints. My laughter—my jokes—they were programming. A defense. A shield. I was laughing to keep it from noticing me."
Rin and Ayla stare at each other — two Rangers who don't belong. Who were never meant to be.
Zara closes her eyes.
Zara:
"You two might be the only ones who can walk into the silence… and walk back out."
