Over the past month, a lot has happened. After the flood forced us out of our home twice, we spent weeks in a small rented place, trying to stay safe while dealing with the damage. Now the water has finally gone, and we're getting ready to return to our old land. The ground is dry, but the cold is harsh, and all we can do is wrap ourselves in blankets and keep going.
Most of our house was made from dirt and mud bricks. When the flood came, the walls didn't stand a chance. What was once our home is mostly collapsed. Even though the land is visible again, the house can't protect us from the cold or the wind anymore.
During this time, so many of you supported me. Your help paid our rent, kept us safe, and allowed us to put our animals on nearby farms where they'd be looked after. You gave my family a little breathing room when we had none. I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart.
Now, as we return, the hard part begins—rebuilding. We can't do it alone. So, if you're able to help, I've opened a Patreon tier for anyone who wants to contribute. I'm not forcing anyone. This is just me trying to do what I can for my family.
