"oh my Goodness Nancy." Emily screamed as she watched her fall. She ran to her. What happened to her? Jackson was behind her and once he got a good look at Nancy he turned to the others. Emily placed Nancy's head on her lap and looked at the Jackson. Nancy was right. Something was off about him. She finally noticed.
"What happened to her?" He asked the ladies.
"We were fighting the xonidjez and then the boss had almost got her when the light came streaming from her." Alice reported.
He looked around " and where is Kyle when all this is happening?"
"Oh. That guy got hit by their boss and now I think he refused to I come back to life."
"I'm fine Alice." Kyle's voice echoed. He was standing behind Emily. He stared at Nancy and then walked to Jackson. There was blood on his lips and his clothes were quite tattered.
"Where were you by the way." Kyle asked glarring at him.
"Don't ask." Jackson glared back at him . " Besides we got attacked too. I noticed they were more interested in Emily...."
"Did they hurt her?" Evielyn asked looking at Emily from the side.
"Didn't get the chance." They all looked at Emily and Nancy then turned back to themselves.
"You said the light came streaming from her?" Jackson asked.That light was quite bright. Is she that powerful?
"Yes. Blinding right?" Evielyn said. "Besides did you check if anyone saw the light?"
"Its fine. They're all unaware." Jackson sighed and then crouched on the floor.
"So... What about her?" Allison pointed at Emily. "What do we do about her?"
"Yeah. Is she now part of us? Or we just find a way to remove her memories."
"No!" Kyle said. "We can't afford to do that. Its like were pratically telling the dark faes to use Nancy's best friend against her." He sighed " Besides, who knows if our heads wil come rolling down if Nancy finds out we cleared the memories of her best friend."
"Are you afraid of her Kyle?" Alice teased as she hit him.
"Of course not. It's just that we don't even know her powers and what she can do. She's like a ticking time bomb. What I don't know about, is like not to provoke."
Since the group had been talking, Emily just stared at them. She casually rememberd how Jackson fought some creatures that just appeared out of the dark. She was terrified of them but more of how Jackson handled it like it a piece of cake. What were those creatures anyways. And who are they? If she remembered we'll Nancy has always been weird around this people and she once warned her of Jackson. What is going on?
Her attention suddenly went to Nancy when moved a little and mumbled something. "Emily..." Her opens her eyes slowly and stared at Emily.
"Em...Emily. A-are Y-you o-okay?" She asked trying to stand up.
"Hey hey..... I'm fine. I'm supposed to be asking you that. What happened to you Nancy?" Emily said confused and tried to keep her from standing up. She was still not looking fine enough.
"Wh-where's k-kyle? A-and jack-son?" She struggled to get out of Emily grip.
Hearing her struggle, Kyle turned back to see Nancy all right. "Woah, woah. Take it easy Nancy." He walked to them and helped her up. "Are you okay."
"I...I think." Nancy said touching her head.
"No. She's not." Emily cuts in. " We have to get her home." She said standing up and wiping her dress
"I'm fine Emily... Seriously."
"Well good then. You can walk right? We're going home anyways. It's late."
"Hold on a bit Emily." Nancy said and turned to walk to Jackson but Emily held her hand and pulled her.
"We're leaving Nancy. Now." She said and began walking without even turning back.

It was already so late in the night when they arrived back at Nancy's house. Emily had decided to stay the night and she planned on doing that by asking some questions that would satisfy this curiosity in her.
She looked over to Nancy who only slugged her feet to her bed and made herself comfortable. Soon she wasn't moving.
'Uh, what? No.'
"Wake up you...." Emily said pulling a pillow and smacking her with it. Yes, hs might be tired but she isn't going to let her rest until she gets some answers.
"Ouch." Groaned Nancy who was half into the speed realm. She knew Emily would want to ask some questions. But right now wasn't great because she was heck tired. " What's the matter with you Emily. I was drifting to dream land."
"Well glad I severed the connection." Emily said as she sat on the bed. Nancy straightened up and looked at her.
"So what do you want...?" Nancy yawned starring at Emily. Her eyes were hazy.
"Well... I have questions....." Emily said. '...a lot of them.' she completed in her mind.
"About?" Nancy asked. Her voice sleepy and her expression showing that she really doesn't want to answer any of Emily's questions right now.
She knew Emily very well. She must have figured something was wrong and didn't add up and now expects her to give a full detail.
"A lot of things. But first, what's going on?" Emily eyes were looking into hers.
"Huh? I don't know what is going on?" Nancy said diverting her gaze. Now she was fully awake and her senses were active.
"Oh come on. Don't give me that crap Nancy. I know you. And don't forget that I'm no dumb girl." Emily said curtly. She wasn't going to buy that act.
"I'm serious.. nothing is going on. If you feel like something is then the person to ask is your 'boyfriend' Jackson." Nancy replied with the same attitude.
"Oh. So it's like that? You're now keeping secrets from you bestfriend?" Emily raised a brow.
"I'm not keeping secrets." Nancy quickly replied. No way she would keep secrets from her friend. Not from Emily at least. It's just.....
"Alright then. I believe you." Emily said and stood up from the bed. Nancy almost coughed but she stopped her self at the last minute. She believes her?
She does? Was her acting too good. No way. Emily knows something is up. And she doesn't easily back away when she needs somethings. So what now?
Nancy watched Emily bring out a book from her drawer.
"Hah..." Emily exhaled. "I think it'll be more fun reading it from you diary then."
