After the customers left, everyone was busy organizing and preparing their things to move to the new location Francis told them about. They put their belongings into a horse-drawn carriage and headed to the Upper Ring.
The Upper Ring was mostly a residential area for middle-class nobles.
They arrived in the Upper Ring. "Wow, this place is different from where we've been. The houses are huge and tall, and the businesses here seem elegant, healthy, and alive!" Riel said in awe.
In the distance, Francis was waving at them. They continued their journey toward him, and all of them were left with their jaws dropping.
"What is this? This is beautiful," Mig said.
"Well, this was my mother's plant shop a long time ago. She got tired of it and instead focused on caring for her own garden at home," Francis explained.
Old Migo hugged Francis, and Ronaldo smiled. He then let out a small "tsk."
"Thank you for this. We didn't expect to come here," Old Migo said, tears welling up in his eyes.
"No, it's okay. In fact, my mother was glad to have you here using this place because paying the taxes for it was useless since we couldn't even use it," Francis replied.
"Thank you, my son," Old Migo said.
"No problem, Grandpa. I promise we will serve you food whenever you want."
"Yes, sir!" the four servants agreed.
"Fine, fine. Can we just sort out these things? We're in the middle of the road," Ronaldo interjected.
They all went inside. "Wow, this place is two times bigger than our old shop!"
"In case you don't know, this is a two-story building. There's a ground floor and a second floor," Francis told them.
They explored the place, and while Ronaldo was cooking their dinner, he thought to himself, "I wish I hadn't cooked my food here in this world. I didn't expect he would love that egg omelet and the potato fries, too."
Ronaldo cooked meals from his world in this new one. That night, he tried making noodles with an egg.
"Everyone, come on, let's eat!" Ronaldo shouted.
"Oh, son, what is this new invention?" Old Migo curiously asked.
"What is this long thing?" Guel asked.
"That's rice. I just powdered it, mixed it with starch, and made it like that. It's called noodles. And this beef and egg are edible," Ronaldo explained.
"Our master is really the best, hehehe," Mig said.
"Stop chitchatting, just eat," Ronaldo commanded.
"Wow, this is awesome! I haven't tried this in my life!" Francis shouted.
"Me too!" the four servants seconded.
"I'm really proud of you, my son. You really have your grandma's traits," Old Migo said.
"Blah blah, stop teasing and just continue eating," Ronaldo said.
After the feast, Francis shared with them that he was going to Mt. Sedan. "Our head miner just reported that there is a creature attacking the miners, and I'm going there to see what's happening."
"Why? You could have just asked the kingdom to send magic knights there," Ronaldo said.
"Nope, we can't, because they might try to take our mining business. You know there are a lot of greedy people in this kingdom. At first, my mother was the one who would go there to protect the miners, and she single-handedly killed the mountain serpent," Francis replied.
"Wow, your mother is something else," Ronaldo said.
"Well, my mother is like them, too," Francis said, eyeing the four servants.
"What, really? That's awesome! No wonder she can handle that," Ronaldo said.
"Yeah, but now that I'm capable of doing it, I'm going instead," Francis said.
"Whoa, let me tag along. I wanna see how you dig your money and become so rich," Ronaldo said.
"Tsk, if you want to, then why not? It's getting dark. See you tomorrow," Francis said.
"Bye," they said goodbye to each other.
It was another day in the Kingdom of Creyd. "Grandpa, I'm going out. I'm tagging along with Francis. We're going to Mt. Sedan. Bye, Grandpa! Hey, you guys! Look out for my grandfather."
"Yes, sir!" the servants replied.
"Bye, son," Old Migo said.
They traveled toward Mt. Sedan in a horse-drawn carriage because it was far from the Kingdom of Creyd. As they traveled, they passed by villagers outside the kingdom, and some of the villagers bowed to the carriage.
"Why are they bowing when we were just passing by?" Ronaldo asked.
"It's because the emblem of the Labraunth house is on the front of the carriage, and some of the villagers' land is ours. We let them build their houses there, and in return, they pay us for the goods they plant and produce," Francis replied.
"Why did I even forget that I have a rich noble person with me?" Ronaldo said.
"Yeah, so you better get used to it, my friend."
"Tsk, tsk," Ronaldo sighed.
"Sir, it's getting dark. Would you like for us to rest, sir?" the driver asked Francis.
"Sure, find a stable place, and we will rest. We will get to Mt. Sedan tomorrow."
The carriage continued to travel, and they saw a wide, open space. They rested there, setting up a tent and making a bonfire.
"So, why are creatures attacking the miners?" Ronaldo asked.
"It's normal for them to attack the miners. My great-great-great-grandfather taught them to fight and even gave them specialized weapons that can be used for both mining and fighting. But they can only fight Beta-level creatures. My mother used to come here and even built a house near the mountain as a vacation house," Francis said.
"Oh, that's really awesome. You have a house there? Just how rich are you?" Ronaldo exclaimed.
"I don't even know since I don't do any business. I'm just living my own life," Francis said.
Ronaldo sighed. "I wish I could be rich someday." He yawned. "I'm going to sleep now. Bye, goodnight."
"Yeah, goodnight," Francis replied. He then looked at the night sky, with the stars shining above and the moon.
The sun rose, and the driver of the carriage fixed their belongings and arranged the carriage and the horse.
"How was your sleep?" Ronaldo asked.
"It was fine, somehow. It's just that someone snores better than the horse," Francis said, looking at Ronaldo and playfully joking with him.
Suddenly, the horse panicked, and the birds flew away.
"They're coming from the mountain!" Francis said. "Come, we will ride the horses! We will get you after. Just stay here," Francis told the driver.
The two of them rode the horses.
"Woah woah woah, hey, I don't know how to ride a horse!" Ronaldo screamed.
"Then copy how I ride the horse! That's your specialty!" Francis screamed back.
"You bastard!" Ronaldo screamed. "He yah!" Francis yelled, and he advanced forward.
"Hey, wake up! Copy Francis's horse riding skills," Ronaldo told himself.

"Here we go! Yah, faster, boy!" Ronaldo rode the horse like an expert and surpassed Francis.
"Boy, you don't know where you're going! Stay behind me!" Francis yelled.
But Ronaldo smirked at him and rode even faster.
"Oh, boy!" Francis sighed.
