The night sky was bleeding.
Seoul's skyline flickered with ruptured light — neon signs sputtering in broken colors as towers groaned under the weight of something far heavier than gravity. The air was thick, pressing down on the lungs of anyone unlucky enough to be within kilometers of the battle.
Bang!
A skyscraper collapsed two blocks away, toppling into a cloud of glass and steel. The shockwave swept down the empty streets, rattling every window that still remained unshattered.
At the center of it all, Seth Chrono and Siyoon moved like blurs.
One wrapped in divine gold, burning like the sun.
The other cloaked in a living storm of black and crimson, cold as the void between stars.
Siyoon's divine blade — a weapon forged in the god of life and death's own breath — came screaming downward. Seth caught it between the Red Moons, sparks of gold and crimson exploding where the metals met.
The ground beneath them cratered instantly. Pavement fractured like thin ice, spiderweb cracks racing outward. A traffic light pole toppled, its green light still blinking uselessly as it crashed to the ground.
Siyoon snarled, voice laced with holy authority. "You're nothing without your tricks, Slayer!"
Seth's lips curved in the faintest smile. "Then let's start with one."
The asphalt trembled. A ripple of shadow burst from Seth's feet, spreading in jagged lines. From each line erupted chains — spectral black links glowing faintly with runes that screamed in silence.
They coiled around Siyoon in an instant, wrapping his arms, legs, and neck, each link heavier than lead and colder than the grave.
The divine light around Siyoon dimmed, flickering like a candle in wind.

Siyoon gritted his teeth, divine aura burning brighter as he tore at the chains. One link snapped.
"Impressive," he spat. "But—"
"—You talk too much," Seth cut in. His eyes glinted. "Annihilation Chain."
The black chains bled crimson, their runes warping into jagged, blasphemous shapes. They vibrated at a frequency that made the very air shudder.
Siyoon's golden breastplate cracked straight down the center. The divine shield in his left hand shattered like porcelain. Even his blade began to hum with instability.

Siyoon's face twisted — the first flash of fear breaking through the arrogance.

The air thinned, sound itself seeming to warp. Siyoon's breathing grew ragged. His steps lost the sharp confidence of a god's avatar — replaced by tiny hesitations that Seth caught instantly.
Siyoon lashed out, divine blade whistling through the air in an arc meant to split Seth clean in two.
It passed through empty space.
Seth was already behind him, moving with a rhythm that made no sense — a broken, erratic dance that left no pattern to follow.
[Skill Activated: Chaotic Footwork]
Evasion: +100%
Instant burst movement without momentum build-up.
Each dodge was so close that Siyoon could feel the air from Seth's movements brush his skin. Each missed strike only widened the cracks in his composure.
Desperation flashed in Siyoon's eyes. He raised his sword and roared, divine light cascading around him, forming a barrier so bright it turned the night into noon.
Seth's gaze hardened. His daggers crossed in front of him.
"God Severing Slash."
The world slowed. His blades cut through the golden barrier as though it were mist. Through armor. Through flesh. Through the divine spark itself.
[Skill Effect: God Severing Slash]
Damage to divine beings: +400%
Prevents resurrection, reform, or reincarnation for 24 hours.
The divine light sputtered and went out. Siyoon's mouth opened, but no sound came. His knees buckled. The Red Moons flashed again, and his head struck the cracked pavement.
As Siyoon's body dissolved into swirling black mist, a voice unlike any mortal sound rumbled through the city — ancient, heavy, infinite.
"You think this is the end, Slayer? This is nothing—!"
"This is the beginning of–"
"–The end" Seth finished the sentence for him.
Then, the the air around him changed and then the god of life and death appeared. Although it wasn't his true form, he was still there as a spirit or what one might call a formless body.
"Slayer this is not going to end well for you…I swear on my divinity I will kill you!!"
The mist thinned. The god's presence withdrew, but not without a promise of return.
Silence fell — the eerie, heavy silence that follows the ending of something catastrophic.
Every building within a two-block radius was shattered or half-collapsed. The streets were a patchwork of craters. Streetlamps lay twisted like broken bones.
Seth exhaled, sheathing the Red Moons in his inventory "Three days," he muttered. "That's all I'm giving them."
And he meant it.
The next seventy-two hours were relentless.
From Busan to Incheon, Seth hunted down every divine remnant that dared linger on Korean soil. Temples fell. Shrines cracked apart. Devotees screamed and burned to ash beneath his blades.
By the dawn of the third day, South Korea was clean. Not a single divine echo remained.
On the morning of the fourth day, as Seth leaned back on the couch of his hotel suite, the Godslayer System pulsed in his vision.
[System Notification]
The 10 Divine Ancient Supreme Gods have taken notice of you.
You are being watched.
Seth froze mid-sip of coffee, a slow grin spreading across his face.
"…There are Supreme Gods?" His eyes narrowed with the thrill of a new hunt.
"All this time, and I've only been killing the weaklings."
with a feral grin on his face and eyes with slitted pupils glowing with killing intent.
"Well fuck me"
