đź“– Episode 13: The Door of Secrets
Aaniya took a deep breath and walked toward Suleman's office.
For the first time, her heart held a strange kind of calm — not complete trust, but not complete fear either.
The office environment was as professional as always, but Suleman's tone said something else entirely.
> "Aaniya, I need to talk to you about something important…"
Suleman said, his eyes hiding a certain worry.
Aaniya silently asked with her eyes, "What happened?"
Suleman placed a file in front of her. Inside were the case details of a woman — her name was Fariha Sultan.
> "This is Fariha's case… my ex-wife.
She has an old property dispute, and now she wants me to represent her as her lawyer."
Aaniya's face turned pale.
> "You're going to take her case?"
she asked softly, though something inside her was breaking.
> "I don't want to.
But she's blackmailing me — if I refuse, she'll leak some personal things about me."
Aaniya narrowed her eyes.
> "What kind of things?"
Suleman pulled out a photograph.
In it, he was standing at a hotel reception with another woman. The woman's face was blurred,
but on her arm was a tattoo — it said: "Aaliyan."
Aaniya stopped breathing for a moment.
> "What kind of joke is this?"
Her throat tightened.
> "I don't even know who this woman is.
But Fariha is threatening to make this photo public — saying I was involved with a woman connected to someone named Aaliyan."
Aaniya took the photo in her hand.
The tattoo… Aaliyan's name?
Could this woman be… part of Aaliyan's hidden past?
> "I want that file," Aaniya said, a new fire in her voice.
> "What are you going to do?" Suleman asked, surprised.
> "I'm going to find out who this woman is…
and why she has Aaliyan's name tattooed on her."

That night, Aaniya wasn't writing in her diary.
She was staring at that file.
One thought kept circling in her mind:
> "The life I thought I had left behind…
maybe it still has something left to reveal."
