It was the end of the workday. The sun hung low, throwing a warm orange glow over the parking lot. People were leaving one by one, chatting lazily or unlocking their cars.
Min-jae walked out with Seo-jun, who was fiddling with his phone and looking half asleep.
"Hey, you're spacing out again," Min-jae said, bumping his shoulder lightly.
"I'm just tired," Seo-jun mumbled, yawning.
Min-jae smirked and, without warning, grabbed Seo-jun's wrist. "Come on. "
"Huh—wait, where are we going—"
"Just get in," Min-jae said, opening the car door with that same unreadable calmness of his.
They got in. The lot was almost empty now, quiet except for the faint hum of cars passing in the distance.
From one of the upper windows, Do-hyun stood watching. His expression tightened when he saw them together in the car. His jaw clenched slightly.
He muttered under his breath, "Where the hell are they going now…"
