Markus breathed in a sigh of relief as soon as he was alone, he stared at the mountains at a distance in contemplation for a minute just soaking himself in everything.
This would be the last time he would have the chance to relax and not guard himself after all, and knowing of what was coming, every second was a precious one.
His eyes focused on the nature and most overtaking his surroundings for a moment before finally stilling himself.
' Status.'
His eyes immediately shot up to the screen that quickly materialised infront of him with no fanfare nor sparkle.

He raised a brow staring at the small status screen, though he was a bit relieved that he wouldn't need to keep up with a lot of numbers aside from the prime directive of what his system could do.
So as he studied his system, he found two things that intrigued him.
First was on the talent section, or at least what he thought was as it wasn't really labelled.
Aside from the natural talent that this body has which was science, one that this body had utilised as he studied both general and electrical engineering to a good level but never truly excelled in it like one girl he remembered back in the Ark.
What he focused on was the exclamation mark where it was shown to be where his Talent Points would accumulate which he had zero of, so he was a bit surprised that there exclamation mark seemed to be blinking to him.
' Well, might as well get this over with.' He thought focusing on expanding further into that section, the entire experience coming to him like second nature.

Talents that could range from any menial task one could find in the multiverse! Such as Cooking, Cleaning, Running Etc!
These talents while at first might not seem extravagant, they will allow the user a percentile or multiplied boost to said talent, allowing them to learn things derived from the talent faster than others without the talent could!
Talents though are not set in stone as talents have tiers. Tiers of which effect how much you get out of them, from Tier 1 being the weakest talent one may gain to Tier 10 being something that would shake continents if applicable and utilised right.
But I'm order for you to obtain talent's, you need talent points! Points which depending on how many you use, will grant a random talent with a random tier but the more points used then that will allow the rolled talent to be of higher tier too.
But again, in order to roll these talents you will need Talent Points!
There is also a second feature to the talent points though, this feature allows the host to use the points he already has to boost the tier of talents he already has to a higher tier too! Though the amount of points needed for that will change with each tier.
Talent Points are granted to the user when they achieve something extraordinary or do something for the first time that is not common to do—So the user is advised to strive to be adventurous in this regard.]
Markus as he read through the entirety of the information dump groaned.
' That's a long ass introduction—but one I needed, most systems portrayed in novels simply leave their hosts to stumble around their functions so I can't complain.'
So as he finished reading though the entirety of the message he nodded, knowing of what he now needed to do.
He needed points, and to obtain that he needed 'achievements' which was a really broad concept so for now the best way he could farm said points would be sticking close to the main cast—after all, everything that went wrong with this world was around them.
So closing the screen, thinking that was all, he was further surprised when another popup screen appeared before him.

'...Okay now you're fucking talking!' Markus grinned, his eyes glowing an eary black which went unnoticed by him.
He was just about to immediately use them when he remembered that he wasn't done looking through everything he had yet.
' Oh yeah.....my ability.' He thought, grimly.
While he wanted to be glad that he obtained an ability, he couldn't, in any world he would have been overjoyed but the circumstances of which he obtained it had him tensed.
If he was the only one that obtained the ability, he would have been fine and excited but 100 more people also did.
A hundred unstable children that had been put to jail for one or another reason.
But then again, in their defence the Ark put people there for the littlest things but he was sure that there would be a couple other broken and bad seeds in their little group of criminals.
But then again he wasn't one to talk about bad seeds, this body was here for attempted murder of all reasons.
And then came the real reason he was truly scared of this world.
With these kind of drastic changes to occur, what had happened to cause this much of a change all those years ago?
Hopefully it wasn't anything bad, but hopefully his rotten luck didn't carry over to this world or else he was beyond fucked.
So with that last thought in mind, he expanded on his ability and immediately felt his jaw tighten.
' Well fuck me...'

No matter which angle he looked at his ability, he was meant to be a bad guy in this world.
He had already had an inkling of that though.
The data stream that he and every one hundred had gotten while on the drop ship had given him a sort of intuition on his ability but not a full explanation as now.
" Fuck me sideways, this is gonna be tiring."
