"This strategy is useless! Why should we listen to him? He's not even from main clans!"
Riku walked up to her, smiling.
"You talk too much."
She blinked.
And in a sudden, shocking moment, Riku gently placed a finger on her juicy lips.
"Be quiet," he whispered with a calm, almost affectionate smile close to her as she felt his breath.
Her eyes widened.
Crimson blush exploded across her cheeks.
So sudden. So unexpected. Her voice died in her throat.

Something inside her stirred—an unfamiliar heat, a strange tightening in her chest.
"Why do I care?" she muttered, turning away.

"You changed everything," she said, eyes softening.
"You're welcome," Riku replied, brushing past.
But she suddenly stepped closer.
And before he could react—
She leaned in and kissed him.
Their lips touch each other
But warm. Soft. Real.
Their eyes met, both wide in surprise.
Then, cheeks red, she turned and ran off into the shadows, saying nothing.
Riku blinked, touching his lips.
"That… was unexpected."
A moment passed in silence.
Then he looked up at the stars.
"In this life… I will protect everyone from dying at the hands of the original main character."
