After Umino Iruka left, Kitazawa sat at his desk, his hands clasped together and pressed against his nose.
He was pondering how to become the Class Representative of First-Year Class A.
If he were a student, it would be perfectly reasonable. But he was a teacher.
A teacher vying for the Class Representative position against students?
What kind of precedent would that set?
Yet this mission had to be completed, as it rewarded him with the Water Attribute.
Chakra has seven attributes in total. The common ones are Wind, Water, Fire, Earth, and Lightning, while the hidden ones are Yin and Yang.
Ninjas are born with Chakra attributes, typically one or two.
For example, someone with the Lightning Attribute would find Lightning Release techniques easier to learn and more powerful.
Kitazawa had tested his Chakra attributes and found he only possessed Wind and Fire.
Gaining an additional attribute would grant him a significant advantage, so he naturally didn't want to miss this opportunity.
Kitazawa sighed and moved to the single wooden bed behind his desk.
He lay down, forming a shape like the Chinese character 木 (tree).
As he pondered, he drifted off to sleep, eventually losing consciousness.
___
Second-Year Class C.
Toranosuke had barely sat down when he noticed a small note on his desk.
He opened it with a puzzled expression.
The note contained only one sentence: Don't leave after school tomorrow.
The signature was a name he knew well: Hinata Hyuga.
"When did that crybaby Byakugan freak suddenly get so bold?" Toranosuke asked, his face full of surprise.
"Big brother, did you get a note too?" Two boys of similar age approached him, asking.
"What's going on here?" Toranosuke asked, looking at the three identical notes.
"Should we go? Could it be a trap?" one of the boys asked, his voice tinged with suspicion.
"She is the Hyuga Clan's heiress, after all."
"Of course we're going!" Toranosuke scoffed. "Adults don't interfere in kids' matters."
This was precisely why he could bully others at school with impunity.
In the Shinobi World, strength reigned supreme.
If Hyuga Hiashi were to intervene and punish them, the other Shinobi Clans would mock him relentlessly.
"Then we're guaranteed to win!"
The little boy replied with absolute certainty, "Of course! Three against one—the advantage is ours!"
Toranosuke nodded confidently, saying, "Let's hope this time we can really enjoy ourselves!"
"Great idea, Big Brother!" the two boys immediately chimed in, eager to flatter him.
With a blink of an eye, the midday break was over.
Kitazawa sat up and yawned. He had already formed a preliminary plan for how to become Class Representative.
In essence, it involved abandoning all sense of fair play and exploiting the system. The system had only instructed him to become Class Representative, without specifying for how long.
After washing his face and checking the time, Kitazawa headed toward the classroom.
He arrived just as the bell rang.
"Well, I'm right on time," he chuckled softly, stepping onto the podium.
"Teacher Kitazawa!" Yamanaka Ino stood up, waving her hand like a cheerleader. She couldn't resist throwing a smug glance at Haruno Sakura.
"..."
Haruno Sakura pursed her lips.
Though Kitazawa was undeniably handsome, he wasn't their peer. Eventually, he would age before them.
She turned to Uchiha Sasuke and flashed him a sweet smile.
Uchiha Sasuke completely ignored her.
In his mind, only Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Fugaku mattered.
He desperately wanted to improve so he could earn their praise.
Women would only distract him from his training.
