"Ino, I won!"
Haruno Sakura darted toward Sasuke Uchiha like an arrow, then turned back, her face beaming with triumph.
"No!" Yamanaka Ino reached out, her expression pained.
'Hmph, women.'
Nara Shikamaru slumped onto his desk, radiating listlessness.
In his eyes, women were nothing but trouble, especially the pretty ones.
He just wanted to marry an ordinary woman and live out his days in peace.
Akimichi Choji, with his straightforward mindset, immediately pulled out a bag of chips.
I'm gonna eat, eat, eat.jpg
Yamanaka Ino gritted her teeth, glaring at the flamboyant Haruno Sakura. Suddenly, Kitazawa came to mind.
If I can't have the cute one, I'll go for the handsome one.
Just as she was about to head to the office, a blond-haired boy chased after her.
I was here first!
Yamanaka Ino sighed and sat back down.
Hyuga Hinata hesitated for a moment before pulling out her textbook and starting to review. She was a model student.
"Teacher Kitazawa, wait for me!"
Uzumaki Naruto accelerated, swerved around the drainage ditch, and rushed forward.
"Naruto, is there something I didn't explain clearly in class?" Kitazawa stopped and asked.
"No, no!" Naruto shook his head vigorously.
"Teacher Kitazawa, you explained everything perfectly! I understood everything!"
What do you mean you understood everything?
How little confidence do you have?
But Kitazawa quickly realized why.
During the entrance exams, Naruto had scored last place.
"Then what do you need me for?" Kitazawa asked with a smile.
"I want to know how to earn everyone's approval," Naruto said, looking up with hopeful eyes.
"You still... This question is simple. Just learn from Lord Hokage."
Kitazawa paused, then corrected himself.
He had originally wanted to say, "You're still young. You'll understand when you grow up," but he suddenly remembered that Sarutobi Hiruzen might still be watching.
"Right!" Uzumaki Naruto exclaimed, his eyes widening in realization.
"I get it now! Thank you, Teacher Kitazawa!"
"See you in the next class," Kitazawa said with a smile, turning to leave.
The teachers' offices were divided into two types: private single rooms and shared multi-person rooms.
Kitazawa's office was a private single room.
The reason was simple.
He was considered a mid-level leader, roughly equivalent to a head teacher in his previous life.
After all, he had been teaching for five years and had been consistently rated as the most outstanding teacher for three consecutive years.
Ahem.
Beyond his teaching skills, the most crucial factor was that his theory of the Will of Fire had earned the favor of Sarutobi Hiruzen.
Survival is no shame.
In Konoha, clinging to the Hokage's coattails was something many envied.
Of course, if he could latch onto a powerful figure, he'd much prefer to cling to the Fifth Hokage's coattails.
After all, he was a fanboy.
Instead of returning to his own office, Kitazawa headed to the communal workspace.
The large office housed six desks pushed together, representing the six first-year teachers.
"Senior Kitazawa," Umino Iruka noticed him and quickly stood to greet him.
"Iruka," Kitazawa smiled. "Nervous about your first class?"
Umino Iruka had just become a teacher this year, and he wasn't even eighteen yet.
"A little," Iruka admitted sheepishly.
"It's perfectly normal to be nervous at first," Kitazawa reassured him. "I just finished my class, and the students were excellent. You don't need to worry too much."
"Thank you, Senior Kitazawa," Iruka said gratefully.
After watching Iruka leave, Kitazawa went to the bookshelf in the corner of the office.
It contained the student files for all first-year classes.
He needed to find the three troublemakers who had bullied Hyuga Hinata.
