"You... a big human?!" barked the dwarf chief.
Aisei was shocked to see the dwarf's body—covered in blood, riddled with wounds—yet still standing strong.
"I'm Zabord, chief of my kind. Is it true you're here to save us?" he asked gruffly.
"Yes, that's exactly why I came. I can't stand seeing people being tortured," Aisei replied with a sad face.
"I don't trust humans like you. History taught us—Earth's humans are cruel. They never keep their promises. They treated us like animals!"
"Chamber, is what he said true?" Aisei whispered in his head.
[No data available, Master.]
"Earth's humans? Where exactly are you from? How do you know what Earth's humans were like?"
"Huh, looks like you really don't know… Back then, humans tortured the dwarves. Filthy humans!"
(Man, this dwarf talks a lot. I need to finish this quest fast...) Aisei muttered in his head.
"Hey, listen! I'm here to rescue you guys, not to attend a history lecture."
"Big human! Two guards are coming. They're monitoring the area! Hide quickly!" shouted Zito, the dwarf Aisei met earlier when he first descended into the mine.
Aisei immediately took cover behind a dark wall. Two Lizardmen guards approached, stopping just nearby.
SHAAAKKK!
A machete appeared in Aisei's hand. In a flash—two heads flew off simultaneously.
The dwarves stared in awe. Speechless.
"Hey, big human! I wanna see that machete of yours!" said Zabord, his eyes sparkling.
"Now's not the time. If you want a good look, follow me out of here first," Aisei replied calmly.
In the end, the chief agreed. He wasn't going to miss this chance. Until now, they had never been able to escape—there was never an opening.
But after witnessing Aisei's power—taking out two Lizardmen with a single slash—he was confident in his decision.
"Ahem… You're strong, I'll give you that. One swipe and two dead," praised the chief.
"My people have dug a secret tunnel out of here. But, you need to help our kin on the other side too."
"That was already part of the plan. My friend, Ajuka, is over there helping them," Aisei explained.
He took out two emergency pills and handed them to the chief to treat his wounds.
Moments after swallowing them...
"Haaahh…" Zabord was surprised—his injuries were healing fast.
"Alright, this time I'll trust you, big human. Don't break your promise!"
"Yeah, I promise," Aisei replied.
While the chief distributed the pills, Aisei crouched beside the fallen Lizardmen and dug into their chests.
SHLUURK!
Two glowing green-yellow stones were extracted. As expected, the Lizardmen carried energy stones.
[Energy detected], reported Chamber.
"Chamber, do you know what these stones are?"
[Searching data...]
[These are Energy Stones, Master.]
"So... you use these to charge yourself?"
[Yes, Master. MicroCell requires energy sources to activate.]
"Do you still need charging now?"
[Not necessary. Once activated, I no longer require external energy.
If you die, I die too, Master.]
"Oh, but if you die—do I die?"
[I won't die, Master.]
"You sound confident, hahaha."
[-_-] Chamber paused.
[Would Master like the Energy instead?]
"Nah, I'm not a robot. My body doesn't need charging."
[This energy links to the Rentra stats. I can transfer it there.]
"Ermm... It's not dangerous, is it?"
[No, Master. I'm programmed to protect you from harm.]
"Alright then, transfer it."
Aisei suddenly felt his heart grow hot.
"Chamber! My heart's heating up!" he cried, clutching his chest.
[Energy from the stone has converted into inner power.
It's stored in your heart, Master.]
The stone was fully absorbed.
[Current status: Rentra increased from 9% to 30%.]

[Rentra is inner power. The higher it is, the stronger your attacks.]

Without wasting time, Aisei cut the metal chains connecting the dwarves' feet—but their handcuffs remained. Time was running out!
"Three more guards incoming!" shouted Zito.
Aisei smiled.
"Time for y'all to taste hellfire…"
Clakk! BOOM!!!
Flames erupted and thick smoke filled the mine. Chaos broke out in both mining areas.
Lizardmen guards rushed toward the fire. The chief quickly pointed to the secret underground path they'd been digging for five years.
The tunnel connected directly to Ajuka's side of the mine. Unexpectedly, Ajuka had also succeeded in convincing the dwarves there to escape through the same tunnel
Aisei and Ajuka finally met in the middle of the underground tunnel.
They communicated using the MicroCell system.
{How did you even convince them, Juka? These guys are stubborn.}
{At first, they didn't believe me. But after I decapitated six Lizardmen right in front of them—they all followed.}
{Hahaha... you beast, Juka.}
The dwarves were clever. They had already prepared explosives to seal the secret passage and prevent the Lizardmen from chasing them.
Mission successful. They escaped the Lizardmen territory and continued their journey to the lab.
In the middle of the forest, they were ambushed by several giant snakes.
The dwarves were amazed by Aisei and Ajuka's strength. Initially, they were hesitant to follow them to the lab, but after Aisei shared what happened five years ago...
And when he mentioned — "Flying dragons roam freely…"
Suddenly, all of them agreed.
Perhaps there was something they still didn't know, and it remained a mystery.
Upon arrival at the underground lab, Aisei felt something strange.
Why isn't the Quest completed yet?
"Chamber, open Quest window."

[Ting!]

Difficulty: D
Time Limit: 30 minutes
Penalty: Death
Rewards:
+10 Strength, +10 Agility, +10 Defense
20x Tokens
Bravgor Hammer
(That should be it, right? 100 dwarves… What more does it want? I've only got 30 minutes left...) Aisei thought.
He ordered all the dwarves into the underground lab.
"Oi, Aisei! This lab isn't a charity house! My equipment's gonna get trashed!" shouted Professor Johar. "Hey, shorty! Careful with that stuff!"
"Shorty? How old are you, human?" asked Zabord.
"Sixty!" Professor replied proudly.
"Ha! I'm 120. Call me big brother from now on! Useless human."
Ajuka could only stare blankly.
(-_-) "..."
(Just fight it out, guys...) Aisei mumbled to himself.
Eventually, all the dwarves were safely inside. Dwarves live long lives—even though Zabord was 120, his muscular body was far beyond any human's.

"Phew…" Aisei let out a deep breath.
It meant he had to live alongside the dwarves now.
The quest made it clear—he needed to protect them.
Aisei approached Prof. Johar to ask about MicroCell.
Unfortunately, Prof. Johar had no knowledge of it—he was never part of the MicroCell project.

That night, Aisei and Ajuka sat by the campfire, grilling giant snake meat.
Suddenly, a translucent screen appeared in front of Aisei.

"Huu... another death penalty?" Aisei sighed.
"Yes, yes... I'll finish this quest. Don't give me another death threat, Juka. Chamber's acting up again."
"Huh? What's it doing this time, Sei?"
"If I don't build the fortress in 3 months... 'death'."
"Then just die already, Sei! Hahaha!"
(-_-)
"Juka... we need to build a fortress way bigger than this. This place is packed like sardines," Aisei said.
"Agreed. Just look beneath the lab—there's barely any space left," Ajuka replied.
Aisei called Zabord to sit with them.
"Where are you actually from, Zabord?"
"Five years ago, we were kidnapped from our home, a place called Lutrio. Until now, I still don't know how we ended up here."
Aisei and Ajuka concluded—
The creatures currently living on Earth might have come from another planet.
The Cataclysm that happened five years ago could be the cause.
But how they arrived, who brought them, and why—they still didn't know.
Finally, Zabord agreed to stay with Aisei.
Aisei then assigned both Zabord and Prof. Johar to lead the construction of a larger defense fortress.
In the meantime, Aisei and Ajuka would go out to hunt food and restore the food chain—chickens, cows, goats...
During their travels, Aisei told Ajuka about the Energy Stones and handed all of them to Prof. Johar.

Back at the fortress site, Aisei closed his eyes.
[Entering the Chamber]
"Chamber, show me my status."

Aisei could feel his strength rising. A smile crept across his face.
"Chamber, any info about the Bravgor Hammer?"
[Searching data...]
[Bravgor Hammer:
A legendary hammer once wielded by the Blacksmith of the First Dwarf King.
Forged in the eternal flames of the Eternal Forge, Bravgor possesses incredible power — one strike is enough to melt any material, no matter how tough.]
(Oh… so this hammer belongs to the dwarves. What is this Chamber system, really? It's like it's trying to tell me something...)
He let the question go—for now.
---
Aisei activated the Roulette, inserting 2 tokens.
The white ball stopped at number 32.
Thirty-two cards appeared.
He rolled the dice—number 3.
He picked 3 cards:
Card 1: A fist. "+10 Strength"
Card 2: A printer. "Blueprint"
Card 3: A door. "Storage Expansion. Choose Yes to activate, No to store."
Card 1 used — Strength increased from 34 to 44.
Card 2 used — a printer emerged from the floor of the Chamber.
Card 3 activated — storage expanded from 5x6 ft to 10x12 ft.
He inserted 2 more tokens.
The roulette ball slowly stopped at number 9.
Nine cards appeared. He rolled the dice — number 3.
Card 1: A sword – "Elemental Sword"
Card 2: A black figure holding a thread – "Invisible Thread"
Card 3: A magnet – "Element Gravity"
Card 1 used — a sword appeared in Aisei's hand. He drew it.
"Oh, sharp." He sheathed it back.
Card 2 used — thin, transparent thread appeared.
According to Chamber, Aisei could now control it.
Card 3 used — cracks formed along his sword's sheath.
Then, Aisei returned to Slot 777 and inserted 5 tokens.
He received:
2 Emergency Pills
3 Black Ball

"Chamber, what's the printer for? Any info?"
[Searching data...]
[Printer: A tool to produce the master's blueprint.]
The Chamber screen lit up, showing usage instructions.
[Blueprints can be designed based on user imagination.
Printer will generate full building plans.]
After a moment of thought, Aisei grinned mischievously. (^u^)
"So you gave me a quest to build defenses, huh… hehehe…"
"Chamber, gather data — I want to build a fortress wall big enough for 50,000 to 100,000 residents.
Surveillance systems. Defense systems. Cars. Guns. Sunglasses. Roads. Lakes… build this... build that… build everything. Then, send it to the printer!"
A flood of ideas poured into Chamber's system.
[Understood, Master. Collecting data...]
Aisei exited the Chamber.
---
The sound of heavy hammering echoed.
Clang… clang…
Aisei was now using the Bravgor Hammer, helping others with construction.
From the distance, a deep, menacing voice roared:
"STOP, YOU WORTHLESS HUMAN!!"
