With steady hands, the maid tilted the silver teapot, letting a gentle stream of tea flow into the porcelain cup, the soft trickle breaking the silence.
The smell of the tea lingered in the air.
Picking it up elegantly and with ease, Serenya bring the teacup filled with blood looking liquid, not to close to her nose and sniffs it.
"Isabel, what do you know about Imperial Jasmine tea?" Serenya sips her tea slowly while asking her trusted maid.
"Imperial Jasmine tea, is Reserved for emperor and empress, due to its rarity and the meticulous process of production, symbolic of elegance, and refinement...and ohh princess, I heard that although it's meant for the emperor and empress, the empress doesn't drink such tea because the emperor doesn't like sharing it" The maid says gossiply while smugly laughing.
Serenya smiles while her maid continues "Even the High consort of moonlight does not have that privilege though she is the emperor's favourite "
"Favoured but forgotten, I don't want that."
The maid looks at her princess surprised "What do you mean my princess "
"Isn't it obvious to the world, that the High consort is just favoured on the surface, the emperor is obviously putting a show to the world because he still needs her power"
The maid nods knowingly
"But jealousy and anger won't let the palace know and the emperor is using that to his advantage"

"Princess!!!, what are you saying!" The maid says quietly while looking around.

Looking at her maid Isabel, Serenya smiles widely while sipping her tea.

"Princess, The King and Queen demands your presence, says the emperor of Vareynor sent a message"

"Yes, Princess " Serenya smiles while standing up.

She continues her way to the throne room.
Sorien smiles and walks behind Serenya
With a low creak and a heavy push, the throne room doors opened, the sound rolling through the chamber .

"Greetings Sister" Serenya smiles faded a little while looking at a mother with a questioning look.
Queen Narethyne smiles as a warning to her daughter.
"The Emperor of Vareynor agreed with our Alliance and you coming into the palace, isn't that great news"
"It is father, we no longer have to worry about that demand " King Tharion nods his head while smiling to Sorien words.
"It's all thanks to your sister"
"So what position is sister having by the emperor's side "
The throne room became coldly silent.
"And what will that information be of benefit to you, Sister " Serenya says coldly.
"Nothing of course I'm...I'm just worried that you may have no good position by the emperor side and suffer, the emperor is known for his..."

"Keep your dirty mouth shut or I won't mind cutting your tongue off " Queen Narethyne says angrily while Princess Sorenya holds her cheek in shock.

Serenya kiss her mother cheek, and walks away with her personal maid.
