Serathen stepped out of his room.
He wore a blue blazer with silver trim, a white shirt, and a tailored pants that faded from deep blue to silver at the hem. This was the uniform of the academy.
He walked calmly across the hallway, his behaviour from the day before masked beneath his expression.
He soon reached a huge door.
[SPIRITUAL THEORY]
He stepped into the class, his steps measured.
As he entered, it felt like time froze.
The other students stared at him with fear, some with awe.
Serathen did not mind any of this, he had grown accustomed to it since he reached this world.
This was the price that came with an ex-tier comprehension and the backing of the Vaelor clan.
Yes, even before he awakened the system, he had an ex-tier comprehension.
He went up the stairs, and sat on the chair on the highest point.
Soon, a woman with a pair of glasses and her pink hair covering most of her eyes walked in
She stood elegantly on the stage.
"Good morning," her voice echoed through the room.
"I am sure you all know me already, but for the sake of it, my name is Elaris Veyna."
The academy is sparing no resource, even calling the best spiritual energy scientist to teach us, Serathen thought with amusement.
"What do you understand by spiritual energy?" Elaris threw a question as soon as she started.
A student raised his hand.
"It is the energy that exists in all humans, but can't be seen unless through special means," the student said with a skeptical expression.
"That is just one part," Elaris said.
"After several researches by scientists, we were able to come to one conclusion," Elaris said, her voice reverberating through the class.
"Spiritual energy is the force that flows through all living things, natural formations, and even the spaces between. It is the breath of the world, the pulse within every being, and the source from which all strength, growth, and transformation arise.
Understanding spiritual energy is not just the foundation of cultivation, it is the foundation of life, motion, awareness, and change."
As she spoke, blue energy coiled around her palm, and spread out slowly.
The energy coiled around the students, calming them with its warmth.
Then suddenly, they felt sleepy.
"That is one of its uses, spiritual energy can control a person's body with enough mastery."
As she spoke, her spiritual energy withdrew, and the students regained their energy.
"In this lesson, I will be teaching you people everything humans have learnt about spiritual energy."
"Including the forbidden ones," she said with a serious tone.
"I am sure you all know the rule to staying in this class," she asked.
"You are to create a unique cultivation style for yourself within 3 months."
"And to do that, you will need spiritual energy theory," she said with a calm smirk.
"Today, we will be talking about flow, the ability to direct and move the spiritual energy."
Elaris began to explain to the student calmly. She looked like a seasoned teacher, rather than a top scientist.
But unknown to her a certain student of hers had started gaining various insights after witness spiritual energy.
[By witnessing spiritual energy, host has begun to gain insight into the origin of spiritual energy.]
"And that is it for this class," Elaris said as the bell rang loud.
The other students stood up and left the class slowly.
But Serathen still sat on his chair, his eyes closed like he was in a trance.
"To think he gained insights just from seeing spiritual energy," Elaris muttered. "As expected, an ex-tier comprehension was no small thing."
She stepped out of the class, not intending to disturb him.
After an unknown amount of time had passed, a sudden wave of spiritual energy erupted from Serathen's body, engulfing the entire room in it's crushing pressure.
The energy was withdrawn back to his body as sonn as it was released.
Serathen opened his eyes calmly, golden lights flickering in his pupils.
"It had an effect so fast," Serathen muttered with surprise.
Although he had expected it to be easier to create a cultivation path for himself with absolute understanding, he never knew it would be this fast.
"I guess I wouldn't be going to the human race's repository," he thought with a shake of his head.
[Host has comprehended the endless path of ascension]
Endless path of ascension? It sounds like something brought out of a novel, he thought.
[Host has broken through to the beginner realm, novice stage.]
[Host have awakened skill: Weapon mastery]
[Host has gained 1000 primordial points]
A new skill, Serathen thought with surprise.
He looked closer at the description.
[Weapon mastery: Instantly grants perfect skill and instinctual control over all weapons.]
Serathen smirked.
The system continues to get better each time, he thought.
"Why are you still here?" he suddenly asked.
Looking closer, there was a beautiful girl with silver hair.
"Don't be like this, you know I am not intimidated by your genius," the girl said with a calm smile.
"That doesn't answer my question, why are you here?"
The girl was none other than his step sister, Aurelia.
"I wanted to see you breakthrough," she said with a wry smile.
Serathen scoffed when he heard her, and moved towards the door.
"You are walking out on a beautiful lady, was that what dad taught you," Aurelia asked with a soft shaky voice.
Serathen looked back at her, and saw her almost innocent eyes.
Fuck this bastard, he thought, veins popping out of his head.
"Fine. Lets walk to the next class together," he finally said through gritted teeth.
"Thank you," a wide smile appeared on Aurelia's face.
She ran towards him, and held him with her soft palm.
They left the class together, and walked towards the weapon mastery class under the watchful gazes of the other students.
They stepped into the class, the serenity hitting them.
"Why is no one here?" He asked.
"Oh, I forgot. The class starts in the next 30 minutes," Aurelia said with a slight tap on her forehead.
When Serathen heard her, he could not help but shake his head.
This was the only problem he had with her, she was too careless.
Aside from that, she was perfect.
"Its okay, I can use it to test how strong I have gotten," he said as he stared at the endless hall.
