The city of Arlenth Bastion, the Kingdom's oldest defensive stronghold, stood tall for centuries. It had never fallen, not even during the Great Conquest.
Until now.
Veyrion's Iron Colossus, accompanied by waves of augmented war beasts and aerial assault drones, laid siege to the fortress with a single, unstoppable philosophy:
"Fear is not the absence of courage. It is the absence of illusion."
For three days and nights, the skies rained fire. Solmere's defenders, once proud knights, were reduced to ash and screams. Inn-users tried to repel the siege, but Veyrion's Shatter Inn nullified their powers and twisted their minds.
Herzl, Grim, and Anna arrived on the fourth day—too late.
The Bastion was gone. Nothing remained but stone turned to molten slag and banners burned black.
Yet beneath the ruins, survivors whispered a single phrase:
