"It seems I also have the qualifications to become a Campione."
Whether a human can become a Campione is already predetermined.
Just like Erica.
Before encountering the God of War, she had wanted to recreate her ancestor's glory, slay a god, and become a Campione.
But after meeting the God of War, a single sentence from him made Erica completely lose the courage to resist.
Even the thought of raising her sword against a god was extinguished on the spot.
As a result, forget about grasping that miraculous opportunity. Just maintaining a posture of not kneeling, even while trembling, exhausted all of Erica's mental strength.
In contrast, when Rin faced Zeus, his body showed no abnormal reaction at all.
Instead, Rin felt excitement.
Yes, excitement.
Only a fool's child, someone born to become a Campione, could experience such an intense surge of exhilaration.
As if it were only natural.
Zeus, and the Heretic God opposing him, should have died by his hand.
"Have you already reached this stage, Violet?"
"Successfully analyzed the power of destiny."
Violet said, "According to the destiny I have written for you, Rin, even without the help of Black and White, Zeus is destined to fall the moment he encounters you."
In other words, as long as Rin encountered a Heretic God, becoming a Campione was inevitable.
There was nothing strange about this.
The so-called Campione was, at most, a product of this world's framework.
Rin was a Creator God from beyond this domain, one who had gathered the powers of multiple worldviews into a single existence.
How could his qualifications be inferior to those of a mere fool's child?
If Kusanagi Godou could become a Campione, then Rin naturally could as well.
Of course.
Being able to do it was one thing. Whether he chose to personally act was another.
"Boom!"
As Rin was still thinking, the two colossal figures in the sky had already collided.
Compared to Zeus fighting alone, Diablo first unleashed his tens of thousands of angelic troops.
"Do not play such petty tricks before me!"
Zeus looked at the encircling angels, his eyes blazing with brilliant lightning.
In an instant, heaven and earth fell silent.
Countless blue-white arcs of lightning turned into meteor-like streaks, spanning tens of thousands of meters, instantly striking down innumerable angels.
"What is that?!"
"Is that Zeus's lightning?"
In Greek mythology, Zeus's lightning as a divine artifact ranked among the very best.
That lightning, faster than light itself, pierced through the angels' hearts like venomous serpents, directly erasing their manifestations in the human world.
"As expected of the Olympian God King, quite powerful."
When dealing with a Heretic God, sheer numbers meant nothing.
Of course, Diablo's goal had never been this.
The angelic army was mainly used to drain some of Zeus's divine power and to test his actual strength.
"But…"
Diablo said calmly, "It's only this much."
"Testarossa, go as well."
Rin casually found a rock and sat down. "Diablo can defeat Zeus, but it will take some time. Go help him."
"Understood!"
Testarossa looked at the two colossal gods locked in fierce combat. She shot into the air, piercing through lava, lightning, and divine radiance.
Then, a dragon's roar echoed across the sky.
"A second Heretic God?"
Unlike Zeus, who could be seen directly, the Divine Ancestors and Heretic Gods hidden in the Netherworld could only observe the battle between Diablo and Zeus.
Now that Testarossa appeared, an overwhelming flood of information surged into their perception.
Lilith.
Mother of all living beings.
The oldest dragon-serpent with seven heads and ten horns.
Satan.
The source of all sin, the goddess of original sin.
"Roar!!!"
Testarossa was not there to be observed like a spectacle.
The Seven-Headed Red Dragon she transformed into let out a thunderous roar, directly shattering all spiritual visions aimed at this place.
The battlefield and the secrets within were sealed, making them completely inaccessible to outside observers.
"I can't see it anymore."
"Is this Lilith's Authority?"
Lilith was the mysterious nightmare, the witch who stole the lives of infants, the mother of countless monsters and devils.
Her existence could not be observed or explored by humans.
Relying on such legends, Testarossa concealed this battlefield within a dreamlike domain, isolating it from all external spiritual observation.
"Hm?"
Zeus wielded his Lightning Spear, clashing head-on with the Sword of Dawn in Diablo's hand, releasing energy comparable to a nuclear explosion.
But before Zeus could follow up, he instinctively summoned a shield, blocking the searing dragon breath from the Red Dragon.
"Dragon-serpent of Original Sin, why do you interfere in my battle with the Lord of Hell?"
Zeus retreated rapidly. At first, he had thought Testarossa was targeting Diablo.
But the positioning of the two caused his tiger-like eyes to widen.
"Crack!"
"Rumble~"
In an instant, violent winds howled and thunder roared.
Zeus, overflowing with divine power, shouted in fury, "Have you even abandoned the glory of being a god?"
Two against one.
To Zeus, this was nothing short of blasphemy against a god's identity.
As the King of Gods, Zeus possessed his own pride.
When Diablo challenged him, he accepted without hesitation.
Even when clearly at a disadvantage, Zeus never considered retreating or calling for help.
This was the dignity of Zeus as the God King.
He could die, be slain by Diablo, and be forcibly returned to Greek mythology.
But winning through cooperation with other gods.
That would stain the glory of a God King battle between him and Diablo.
"Glory?"
Diablo found the concept laughable. He had never known what glory was.
He stood here, fighting Zeus.
All for the sake of pleasing Rin.
For Diablo, as long as he could earn Rin's approval, then even ganging up on Zeus with Testarossa, or using far more despicable methods, would pose no problem.
Everything was for Rin.
Nothing else mattered.
"You seem to have misunderstood something."
The seven dragon heads of Testarossa's Red Dragon form spoke at the same time.
Deafening echoes rippled throughout this apocalyptic world.
"We are, in essence, merely That great one's power."
"Do you think you are facing two Heretic Gods?"
"Ridiculous."
Testarossa's dragon body, several times larger than Zeus's, looked down on him with ease. "We are nothing more than That great one's servants."
"You speak of a fair fight?"
"You, who cannot even withstand That great one's gaze," Testarossa sneered, "what right do you have to speak of glory?"
