Kyle and the Fiend looked at each other before lunging at each other.
The outcome of the lunged was fast as Kyle flew backward again hitting a tree.
'Charging head first with brute force isn't going to do it' thought Kyle while looking at his punctured stomach that was bleeding.
The Fiend the pressed on and charged towards Kyle with it's twisted antlers.
Kyle using the tree as a springboard leaped out of the way unto another tree. Kyle turned and saw as the tree he was on was broken in half.
'And it said it wasn't stronger than me by much' thought Kyle, looking at the broken tree.
The Fiend turned and looked at Kyle with it's three eyes radiating malice. Then it charged again at Kyle who was on another tree.
Kyle once again jumped to another tree as the Fiend broke through another tree.
Then the Fiend followed again.
The Fiend finally used it's ability and created a fake tree close to where Kyle was.
It charged towards Kyle's current location on a tree and Kyle jumped to another tree as usual only for him to pass through the tree.
'What the ... ' thought Kyle in shock as he fell heavily on the ground twisting an ankle.
The Field then abruptly change it's direction as if aware of what would happen and charged towards the fallen Kyle.
Looking at the charging Fiend, Kyle then remembered the Fiend's ability [Minor Illusion].
Kyle then rolled out of the Fiend way as soon as it got close. Then he held his foot and snapped it back in place before standing up and jumping at another tree.
The Fiend turned and looked at Kyle with even more malice as if angry that Kyle managed to get away.
It then charged again even more furiously.
The fiend then changed it's tactic and erased an existing tree from Kyle's field of vision.
But Kyle ever vigilant of his surroundings after the last stunt that almost cost him his life, noticed the missing tree and jumped on the tree as the one he was standing on previously broke.
Kyle then looked at the Fiend and said "You are going to have to try harder that you ugly ass".
The Fiend didn't understand what Kyle said but felt like Kyle was insulting it, so it charged again, only this time, furious than ever.
Kyle then thought as he looked at the Fiend break through another tree ' i think i got an idea'.
Then he started jumping on trees in search of his target. And the Fiend followed after breaking through all obstacles in it's way as it pursued Kyle madly.
After some time Kyle found what he was looking for. A big and very thick tree.
He then accelerated as fast his injured and tired body could take him, as the only reason he is still able to move is through pure adrenalin.
He finally jumped on his desired tree and waited for the furiously charging Fiend to arrive.
And the Fiend didn't disappoint and came charging through, then it stopped and looked around, seemingly looking for Kyle.
Kyle then shouted "Over here"
Instantly the Field locked on to Kyle's figure on the tree then immediately charged towards Kyle.
Kyle took a deep breath looking at the approaching Fiend and said "Here goes nothing" as he jumped down as soon as the Fiend hit the tree.
The Fiend twisted antlers got stuck in the tree as it was too thick for it to break through it like the others.
Kyle then land on the Fiends back, which caused an immediate panic from the Fiend as it struggled to throw Kyle off it's back.
But Kyle held on tightly, refusing to let go of his chance.
Kyle then used his claws and stabbed the Fiend throat then made a swipe and left a deep wound on the Fiends neck.
The Fiend then threw Kyle off it's back and broke it's twisted antlers, leaving it in the tree as black beast blood flowed from it's neck in large amounts.
It struggled to stand as it was losing blood, but it still managed to face Kyle who was on the ground and looked at him with a murderous glint in it's eyes, as if to say if it's dying, Kyle would accompany it in death.
Kyle noticing the intentions of the Fiend wanted to stand and leave but his body didn't respond as his adrenaline wore off and his injuries that were still healing took it's toll.
The Fiend then charged towards Kyle with blood flowing from it's neck.
Kyle looked at the Fiends mad eyes and thought 'Is this how it ends'.
The charging Field was getting closer and Kyle closed his eyes accepting his fate.
A sharp and heavy thud was then heard. Kyle opened his eyes and say the Fiend close to him on the ground succumbing to its injuries.
When the Fiend let out it's final wail, Kyle then breathe out a sigh of relief.
