Chapter 6 - CHAPTER 6 - Double Trouble

The creepy-ass figure sitting there, chomping on snacks like they were livestreaming a mukbang for Satan himself... slowly turned around and said-

"Oh... you're early."

Sera's throat tightened - this world was insane, but her sister? Her real sister? Here? She almost tackled her into a hug, the happiness mixing with WTF is going on energy.

"Bomi... my baby, you're here!" I missed you so much-"

Bomi just blinked, offended like Sera had insulted her entire bloodline.

"Uh whatever, you promised me a fancy party, remember? Or did you get amnesia again, big sis?"

Sera's inner thought "What the actual hell... third time today I've had no idea what's going on. Is this a sitcom? Is there a laugh track I'm missing?"

"Sera: And just like that, the sibling love was gone.

"What?"

"Ten minutes. If you're not ready, I'm deleting your entire BTS playlist and replacing it with baby shark on repeat."

That was a declaration of war.?"

Bomi puffed her cheeks like an angry cartoon rabbit.

Sera was feeling disgusted.

"You're twenty-one now and still act like a brat."

Bomi gave her a side eye.

"And you're 24 and still single. Embarrassing. Hehehe"

Sera wanted to hug her and throw her out the window at the same time. Classic sisterhood at max.

Before she knew it, Bomi dragged her into a shiny Mercedes like she was kidnapping a celebrity. The drive was pure chaos - Bomi screaming about how she was gonna eat unlimited shrimp, Sera staring out the window like Is God trolling me?

So-Sera's still siting there, holding her head like she's holding onto her last two brain cells for dear life. "Okay... my sister... is also Sera's sister... and I am Sera... but... but I'm not... the real Sera?!"

BOOM. The imaginary wall cracks in her mind. She gasps so hard it sounds like she's auditioning for a horror movie.

"Holy chicken noodles soup with a cola on the side... am I the fake Roblox version of myself?!"

She spins in slow motion to look into the car window reflection, stares at her own reflection, and points like she's confronting a criminal:

"Who the hell ARE you?!"

And then-like she's in a soap opera-she slaps her own reflection. Yeah, full-on dramatic palm slap against the glass.

She starts pacing, mumbling like a woman possessed:

"So if she's me, and I'm her, then technically... we share the same birthday... oh my god... do we have to share the same cake?! I don't even like sharing fries, how am I supposed to share MY BIRTHDAY?!"

The brain pressure hits maximum, she pinches her temples and screams

"I can literally hear my brain screaming 'ABORT MISSION.'"

Bomi, barely glancing up from her phone:

"Right. And I'm Taylor Swift. Sis, you're yelling at a car window. I think your brain's overheating."

Sera Snaps her head around.

"Bomi! This is serious!"

Bomi smirks, still scrolling.

"Serious? The only thing serious here is how close you are to auditioning for a mental hospital commercial."

Sera gasps.

"You're making fun of me?!"

Bomi looks her up and down.

"I'd stop, but you're making it way too easy. It's like bullying a goldfish-no challenge."

Sera stomps her foot.

Bomi Screamed.

Ahhhhhhhhh

"I'm having a crisis, Bomi!"

Bomi tilts her head, fake ass sympathy voice.

Then, in a second, Bomi pulls out her phone and starts recording.

"Smile for the camera, Sis. I'm making a documentary: 'The Day My Sister Lost her mind.'"

Then -

They arrived at The Most Over-the-Top Celebrity Mask Party - chandeliers, champagne towers, expensive perfume in the air. Bomi slapped a glittery mask on Sera's face so hard it was basically assault.

Inside: masked strangers everywhere, dancing like they were in a Netflix drama, laughing, clinking champagne glasses.

Before Sera could hide, Bomi yeeted her onto the dance floor. Sera's introvert soul screamed.

Nooooooooooooo...

But Bomi's side-eye could kill, so... Sera danced. Awkwardly. Then... less awkwardly. Then actually enjoying herself.

Until-

Her back smacked into a wall.

Except it wasn't a wall.

It was a man.

Tall. Masked. Hot. Radiating "I'm the sin your mother warned you about" energy.

Before she could blink, he grabbed her hand and pulled her into a private room.

Bomi: Wow, she knows the game. (Keeps dancing.)

Inside the room, Sera's brain prepared to file a kidnapping report- until the guy took off his mask.

"RYU?!"

"You think a mask hides you? Nah. I could find your messy energy from across the damn city."

Sera forgot how to breathe.

"Why are you here?!"

One look from Ryu, and her pulse forgot how to beat.

"I'm basically a celebrity. Or do I need your royal permission to party now?"

Sera's mind: What the f- is happening today? I literally met him twice today. Why no one is giving me the luckiest fan of the year award.

She was so shocked she forgot to be Sera, her eyes sparkling like a crazy fan at a fanmeet, convinced he was seconds away from confessing his undying love.

Ryu felt awkward.

"Why are you looking at me like that"

Then he dropped the nuke.

"We broke up, remember?"

Sera's soul left her body.

"WHATTTT?!"

"Uh... yeah? You dumped me, sweetheart. But the way you're looking at me right now? Screams you miss me like hell... and it's killing you."

Sera just stood there, trying to figure out if this was a dream... or the kind of nightmare that makes you want to unplug life and plug it back in.

Her knees gave out but Ryu caught her. For a second, it felt like a K-drama slow-motion kiss scene. Their eyes locked. Hearts raced.

Then Ryu smirked.

"Sorry, princess... I don't catch trash."

He let her drop. Laughed darkly. Snapped a few pics of her on the floor. Walked away like a villain in slow motion.

"Bye Princess"

Sera was sprawled on the floor like a fallen K‑drama heroine, questioning her life choices, the universe, and what the actual hell kind of circus she'd just walked into.

Meanwhile, Bomi was thriving - dancing, living, accidentally stomping on a guy's foot so hard he saw his ancestors

He turned, glare like a villain in a revenge drama.

Before he could say a word, Bomi bolted like a cat who'd just been caught stealing food. He chased her, in the middle of the dance floor.

Bomi? Ran like she was in Tom & Jerry.

But he caught up, ripped off her mask, leaned in so close she could smell his cologne.

"I will NEVER forget this face."

Bomi: Yeah, no one can. Bye. (Runs again.)

She crashed into a random room, tripped over a body.

"OH MY-"

It was Sera. Not dead. Just dramatically sulking like she was filming a music video.

Before they could escape, the door unlocked.

Bomi shoved them both into a dark corner.

Ryu stepped in. Followed by the guy Bomi stomped.

"What are you doing here, Shio?"

Ryu's voice was cold as ice.

The man removed his mask.

Shio. The King's main rapper. The one who had been in love with Sera for years.

"Do I need your damn invitation to show up?"

Ryu's smirk faltered for half a second.

The air turned lethal.

Bomi, whispering:

"Sis... why do those two hot guys look ready to start a K‑drama fight scene over you? Should I grab popcorn?"

Sera's heart rate: Olympic level.

Shio's gaze shifted... straight to the dark corner where they were hiding.

He smirked.

"Found you."

Bomi froze. Her jaw dropped. This wasn't just some random party guest - this was Shio. The King's main rapper. The quiet, dangerously hot one.

"You..." he said slowly, smirking like a cat catching a mouse. "You're the one who stomped my foot."

Bomi stammered, "That was... an accident...?"

Shio's smirk deepened, but then-his eyes flicked past her shoulder. His face froze.

"...Sera?"

Bomi turned her head like she was in a bad sitcom... and yep. There was Sera.

Curled up on the floor behind some boxes.

The same Sera he had been in love with for years.

The air snapped tight.

Bomi, whispering to herself: Ohhh sht. Plot twist.*

Then-

Another set of footsteps.

Hard. Fast.

Angry.

The air dropped ten degrees.

Ryu..

His eyes locked on Sera instantly. His expression went from cold to mine in seconds.

Bomi felt the temperature spike - not because of the heating, but because the tension in the room could've set the walls on fire.

"We're leaving."

Sera blinked, "What-"

"Now." His voice was final.

Shio moved a step closer, his eyes never leaving Sera. His jaw ticked.

Every muscle in the room screamed fight.

For a second, Bomi was sure they were about to start throwing punches.

But Ryu's grip only tightened. He pulled Sera past Shio, past Bomi, out of the room.

But Ryu didn't care. He pulled her out of the room, out of the party, shoving past glitter and masks until they hit the cold night air.

Without a second thought, he opened his car door and all but pushed her inside.

Back inside the building...

Shio just stood there. Silent. His hands in his pockets. But his eyes - they were pure heartbreak.

Bomi glanced at him. Something in her chest tightened. She crossed her arms and muttered, almost to herself:

"You really like her, huh?"

Shio didn't answer. Didn't have to.

No answer. Just that silence that said everything.

But then-

His entire expression shifted.

From hurt.

To something colder.

Sharper.

He turned and started walking.

Not aimlessly - with purpose.

Bomi's eyes widened as she fell into step beside him.

"You're going after them, aren't you?"

Shio didn't even look at her.

"I'm not letting him take her this time."
